Welcome to Holistic Life Farm! We are a working homestead and delight in sharing our daily experience and offer visits with our sheep, cows and chickens. Holistic Life Farm offers a 1 dry tent site for up to 12 people, a quaint hideaway cabin, and a glamped out 16x20 canvas tent with a wood stove. We also offer 1 RV site in our parking area. Stop on your way to Astoria and the coast and make this your destination. Find us about 30 minutes off I-5 freeway across the Longview bridge or 45 minutes east of Astoria. Our farm sits about 5 miles off Highway 30 to the north. We can direct you to hiking and mountain biking trails in the area (Beaver Falls trailhead is 5 miles from our farm). There is a motor boat launch in the town of Clatskanie, with access to Columbia River. There is also a launch in the city park for kayaking. The Zen Monastery is just 5 miles away. Long Beach, WA is across the Columbia River via the Astoria Bridge. Lounging about the homestead works too.

Want to get out of the weekend campground chaos? Holistic Life Farm offers tent camping for one group at a time. Pic your flat spot amongst the trees in our west pasture. We will have the grass mowed if tall. Stop on your way to Astoria and the coast and make this your destination.  Find us about 30 minutes off I-5 freeway across the Longview bridge or 45 minutes east of Astoria.  Our farm sits about 5 miles off Highway 30 to the north.  We are a working homestead and delight in sharing our daily experience and offer visits with our sheep, cows and chickens.  We do rotational grazing on our farm, so cows or sheep may, on occasion be in the vicinity of your campsite, if so, your camp site will have a electric fence around it to prevent the cows/sheep from being on your campsite. The mobile chicken coop is sometimes located in this vicinity.  Our hens like to announce when an egg is laid.  It is quite fun to listen to in the mornings. Our refurbished compost outhouse is just a short walk from the tent site. There is no electricity or water at the tent site so make sure to include lanterns and water along with your camp gear.  There is a picnic table, and you might even be able to hang a hammock.  What you carry in, please carry out. There is no fire pit at the site.  We are a no open flame property.  We appreciate your consideration and understanding. ** Farm fresh eggs for sale to campers. We are happy to provide price and availability if you are interested.  We can direct you to hiking and mountain biking trails in the area (Beaver Falls trailhead is 5 miles from our farm). There is a motorboat/canoe/kayak launch in the town of Clatskanie, with access to Columbia River. There is also a launch in the city park for kayaking. The Zen Monastery is just 5 miles away. Long Beach, WA is across the Columbia River via the Astoria Bridge. Lounging about the homestead works too.

The cabin overlooks the beautiful coastal range and nearby forest off the deck. Open the front wall and enjoy the breeze from the west during your stay. Our refurbished compost outhouse is just a short walk across the pasture.   There is no electricity or running water so make sure to include lanterns and water along with your camp gear. There is collected rain-water for rinsing dishes and washing hands. You will find a picnic table, 2 camp chairs and a small (real small) folding camp table. You will need to BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING, lots of blankets and/or sleeping bags to keep warm at night during the winter months. We offer propane heating if needed (see under "Extras" for details. We also offer a propane fire pit (also under Extras). This cabin is small, but will hold 2 adults on the single foam beds, or the beds can be put together creating a narrow double sleeping arrangement. Campers do have the option to add additional guests outside the cabin in personal tents for an additional $10 per person (just email us if you would like to bring extra guests) We offer carts to transport your gear out to the cabin.  The cabin sits about 1/8th mile from your car/truck across our west pasture.   **Ask about WiFi access in case you want to work remotely during your stay. We can set you up in the barn at no charge.  We can direct you to hiking and mountain biking trails in the area (Beaver Falls trailhead is 5 miles from our farm). There is a motorboat and kayaking launch in the town of Clatskanie, Beaver Boat Ramp, with access to Columbia River. There is also a launch in the city park for kayaking. The Zen Monastery is just 5 miles away (closed to public during Covid-19). Long Beach, WA is across the Columbia River via the Astoria Bridge. Lounging about the homestead works too.

Holistic Life Farm now offers a glamped out 16x20 canvas tent with wood stove nestled amongst the trees in our north pasture. The tent is 100% breathable cotton with extra tall ceilings, and 5 screened windows, allowing you to stay cool during the summer months. The tent and porch are covered by a 100% waterproof rain fly, with a handicap ramp for easy access. The tent overlooks the beautiful coastal range and nearby forest off the deck. The deck faces west offering incredible sunsets. Open the front wall and enjoy the breeze and view from inside the tent. There is one queen size bed, one day bed and one trundle bed to accommodate 4 guests. Campers do have the option to add additional guests outside the Glamping tent in personal tents for an additional $10 per person (just email us if you would like to bring extra guests). All of the wood structure for this site is reclaimed. The wood floor is made of 130-year-old Douglas Fir timber reclaimed from a fallen down barn. The chairs and table on the deck, made from the same old-growth timber. There is a full size wood burning stove in the tent which will keep the tent extremely warm in the coldest of winter temperatures .  The wood and kindling is included with your booking, you just need to haul it from the barn as you need it. Bedding and clean sheets are provided for the queen bed. There is no running water, so make sure to bring water along with your camp gear. Bring your propane camp stove to cook up a great meal. We offer a garden cart to transport your gear out to the tent. The tent is in the  pasture about 200 yards from where your park.  Our updated compost outhouse is just a short walk from the tent. Our working homestead is just 4 miles off Highway 30, about 45 minutes from Astoria. We delight in sharing our experience and offer visits with our sheep, cows, and chickens. We can direct you to hiking and mountain biking trails in the area (Beaver Falls trailhead is 5 miles from our farm). There is a motor boat and kayak launch in the town of Clatskanie, Beaver Boat Ramp, with access to Columbia River. There is also a launch in the city park for kayaking. The little A-frame structure was perfect for my needs and stood up well to some pretty blustery weather on my first day. It takes a minute to locate the structure if you arrive in the dark and rain, as I did, but once I was oriented, all was well. Definitely recommend this instead of a tent if you're coming at a time of year when the weather is a bit unpredictable.

The A-frame cabin was amazing for a cozy rainy weekend! We enjoyed the propane fire pit and listening to the rain. The cows, sheep, ducks, chickens and cats were adorable!! I would definitely return again.

Wow! This place was amazing, the hosts were so welcoming and friendly It’s a beautiful place and I would definitely recommend I’d love to go back next year! The baby cow “Elliot” was the icing on the cake. Truly made my trip one to remember.

Tent Camping Next to Your Car
We arrived after dark and it was easy to set up our camper top in the grassy area along the fence (we had selected tent camping next to car and communicated in advance via the app, quick response). We woke up next to a pasture with cows having a breakfast snack. It was pretty great. Compost toilet bathroom was very clean, nice to use.

Cydnie and Kim are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The farm and tents are well-maintained, clean, and very kid-friendly, making it perfect for families. There are plenty of activities for children, and the surroundings are safe and inviting. The hosts are attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, making our stay comfortable and memorable. We truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, fresh air, and the chance to connect with nature. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway! We enjoyed petting animals, picking fruits and Stargazing.

We stayed in the glamping tent and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I'd like to thank Paul for being so easy to work with- there was a glitch in the HipCamp app when I first tried to book my stay and I messaged him to request his help. He kept my time slot for unavailable to the public before even receiving payment until the booking issue was resolved, which was an incredible help in planning my vacation. The host's instructions were clear and easy, and the tent itself was in perfect condition exactly as advertised. It was set in a beautiful countryside farm lot with idyllic scenery. The wood stove was a nice touch. Would highly recommend this accommodation!

Luxury Glamping Tent
The glamping tent was gorgeous. We had a wonderful time, and slept very comfortably. There was a pull-out bed that would fit two adults comfortably (4 total in the tent) so we want to come back with friends this fall! James- the sweetest dog- hung around our site off and on during the stay, which our dogs loved, but FYI if you have reactive dogs you will definitely need to keep them tied up. We felt very comfortable here and our dogs had an amazing time as well. Gorgeous, peaceful piece of land.

Host was gracious enough to let us put up our tent next to the canvas tent since we booked two sites. Location was easy to find yet was in a very quiet area! The sites and bathroom were well maintained and easily accessible. 10/10 would absolutely recommend

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay soooo much . We drove up from Seattle to explore Astoria/seaside . We arrived a little late and Paul reassured us that was okay last minute we let them know we’d like the fire pit and they had the propane ready to go for us when we arrived . The drive up wasn’t bad and it was easy to find with gps .The cabin we stayed in was very cozy, cute and perfect sized for us two , they also have wagons to get our things from the car to the cabin with ease cabin faced a secluded area and we really appreciated it . We also had service the whole time total plus . 10/10 recommend and we will be back

This little cabin was perfect for our little getaway. It’s about 50 min from the coast. It was very quiet with the occasional moos from nearby cows, which we didn’t mind. We got to say hi to the cows in the morning! The window wall opens up, which we opened in the morning and enjoyed the fresh air with our breakfast. Paul was incredibly accommodating and friendly and shared some of his freshly grown vegetables in the morning. We can’t wait to visit again!

Tent Camping Next to Your Car
I’m a fan of: “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say it at all”. But Hipcamp wants a review. This spot wasn’t for me - I was car camping on a very hot weekend. Paul’s property is great for camper vans or some sort of glamping vehicle however. I parked along a fence without trees for shade and there wasn’t any privacy. The host provided a picture on Hipcamp of the site and it was as described. But sometimes you never know until you get to a spot and then you discover it’s not like the pic. For the price after fees and a pet fee - I think it was pricier than a State run campsite. I would have also liked access to water but this is stated in the listing so it wasn’t a surprise. Just not my jam. It might work for so wine else though.

We had such a lovely time. The property and the people are incredible. We went fishing at Beaver Creek and picked blackberries, then headed into town for some free live music in the park. We camped in the parking lot because the other spots were full. We didn’t have access to water so bring a lot if you will be camping there. 🩵

Luxury Glamping Tent
Beautiful location and despite the heat, the tent is placed in a shady area and the balcony stayed really comfortable. The bed and linens were super comfy. Worked great for myself and my 2 kids who also really enjoyed visiting the animals multiple times per day. The Columbia River is a short drive away and we spent the whole day swimming at Jones' Beach. Other than seeing the animals there's not a ton to do at the farm, so come prepared with your own games and a good book. Also there is no power outlet in the tent so bring an extra battery for your phone or a solar charger.

Paul’s land is incredible. Boy, what a sunset! The tent spot was in a beautiful pasture by some trees at the edge of the property, which felt secluded and private. There was a nice picnic table next to the tent spot with a well maintained composing toilet nearby. There are big wagons to haul your camping gear to the site, which is approx 50 yards from where you park. It was peaceful and serene. I would recommend this camp site to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

It was so good! We had a great time soaking up the sun and stargazing from the A-frame cabin. The owners were so helpful and kind and the beef and eggs we had were delicious and well priced :)

Stayed here on our road trip in-between Seattle and Tillamook. Beautiful property (and drive up to it). Gorgeous sunsets. Cutest little A-frame lodging that feels very private. Compostable bathroom/site a bit of a walk but worth it.

Ahhhhh!!!! The farm was serene and peaceful. Each site wasn’t too far from the next but we still felt like we had the entire place to ourselves! This a frame cabin …… impeccable. I will be returning. It is a wide open field with a precious barn kitty and barn pup that welcomed us. Super easy instructions. Go go go!!!!

Luxury Glamping Tent
We had a great time in the Glamping tent. It rained the first night so having the extra protection and the covered porch space was wonderful. We managed to fit 4 adults and one 9 year old and a dog comfortably in the tent. It was well furnished, peaceful and a beautiful spot. We think it would be a great spot to come in the fall with the fireplace.

The hatch was a neat feature. Beds were comfy, no need for sleeping pads. Would definitely recommend getting there in daylight as the cabin can be a little hard to find at night! But it was super cozy, and the barn cats were delightful.

Looks exactly like the photos! It was relaxing, peaceful, and really wonderful—but very far from everything. If you’re looking for “the middle of nowhere’s middle of nowhere,” this is the spot. The outhouse was surprisingly clean with no smell at all (and it didn’t smell like a farm either, which is a big bonus!). If your plan is to hike or explore nearby attractions, this place is too far out. But if you want to completely unplug and get away from it all, it’s perfect.

We enjoyed our stay. The locations is remote enough to spend time away from the busy city life. The cabin was a perfect size for two. Its nicely nestled in the back area and makes it feel private. The hosts were available if needed. The views were beautiful. A great spot for all explores.
