We had two adults and five kids, three tents. There were three camping pads, one being a platform. One was not level. The site is quiet and close to lots of things to do. You just need to know that everything you do on the site is on a slight uphill or downhill angle. We parked a car up on the hill, where the platform is located because it was easier than going up and down the hill for all the things we needed from the car.

Great spot! It's a steep walk up and around the camp so keep that in mind. They have some great leveled spots though so no sleeping on an incline.
Keep an eye out for trash hungry cats haha :)

Great site and thoughtfully placed/stocked items. Very remote and quiet except for the ATV's running down the road.

The spot was absolutely stunning and the area as a whole has a lot of different stuff to do! Stephanie was extremely helpful with helping to show us different things in the area that we could do. The site itself has a great set up and makes camping so much easier! I will note that if you plan on visiting in the summer that the waterfall in the pictures is dried up, but there are still lots of other great spots to explore!

It was okay. I drove 4 hours to get there, but I still have mixed feelings about it. When I got there, there was maybe 4 pieces of wood I could use. I ended up using the propane grill (which was nice). Yes, the place is on a long dirt road, but when I got there, there was a house in sight about 200 or less feet away and maybe 60 feet from the main dirt road. It was okay at first cause no one was at the house. I woke up around 7 am or so to people at the house, 7:30-8:00 am comes around and they start clearing the forest and using big machinery being loud. Granted it’s not the owners fault, but I thought it would be more secluded.

I loved the platform and the off leash rules for my dogs! They had a blast! The campground was super clean and taken care of. The grills and fire pit were super nice and clear to clean in/on. Also the outhouse was clean and I loved the wipes that were included. Our host were above and beyond to help us onsite and offsite.

We came tent camping for our 2nd anniversary and storms came through on the second night and our tent leaked!! Real bad! But the first night at the campsite was awesome!! The gazebo and fire pit were so amazing!! Stephanie was AMAZING!! She let us rent her tiny home on the property and it was PERFECT!! It has everything and soooo cozy!! The outdoor shower was amazing!! We seriously didn’t want to leave!! She hand drew up a map of waterfalls to hike to!! We had the most amazing time!!

Great spot away from the river, especially if you are interested in a quieter camping experience. It is a little bit of a drive to get there, but, well worth it. Amenities are wonderful and the host is very responsive and generous. Nearby Sweden Falls was a lovely treat.

Stephanie was an excellent host, responding to us when we had questions, bringing us fresh eggs, and even coming to our rescue when our truck battery died, but still gave us the space we needed to unplug and enjoy our solitude.

Would stay again 👍🏻. Site was clean, directions were easy to follow, and Stephanie responded promptly when we asked if they had firewood available. Location was easy enough to get to Ponca/Boxley area where we were hiking. The incline up to the site is a doozy, but I was in a 4WD jeep so no problems climbing it. This was my first experience using Hipcamp, and Stephanie’s land was a good introduction into it. 🏕️🥾🤙🏼

This area was experiencing a heat wave and the host texted me to offer me a camp site at a neighbor's campground with no extra cost to us so we would have access to electricity and could have a fan. She didn't have to do this and could have never made this offer. Although we haven't stayed at this site, we will come back and give it a try. Thank you for your flexibility.

I enjoyed the campsite and all the amenities! Very intentional and thoughtful with how it was set up!
Keep in mind you have to park at the bottom of a hill, and carry your camping equipment up the hill to set up and carry back down to the car.
Also the bathroom is downhill, and the hill is very very steep.

Very lovely and spacious camp site. Wooden platform to sit the tent on. Chairs, table, campfire area, and a charcoal grill. Stephanie was awesome!! We got fresh eggs from her chickens for breakfast! Very private area on a dirt road. No one else in site except a few passing cars. Awesome experience!

Stephanie’s land was absolutely beautiful. They even brought us some fresh eggs. We did get a little lost trying to find the site at first. We visited glory hole falls nearby which was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend! Unfortunately we were unable to stay for the night due to a faulty tent and we didn’t realize the air up mattress we got from our wedding registry was a plug in. So be sure to plan ahead and check all your gear. Our lesson was learned but we would love to come back to this beautiful place one day!

We had such a great time on Stephanie’s property. It was remote and nestled up in the Ozarks which was exactly what we were looking for 🥰 some time away from the hustle and quiet away from others. Stephanie was a lovely host and the first morning brought up some eggs her chickens had just laid! Delicious 🥰 We camped in our car this time but this would have been a gorgeous site to pitch a tent. Locally there are some gorgeous hiking trails and some falls the host pointed me towards. What a great time ❤️
Ps. The dogs loved the property too and got to run around and explore.

Stephanie was such a great host and the site was perfect! It had a platform for tents, a fire pit with logs around it, a grill, a table and chairs under a gazebo, and an outhouse. It was absolutely perfect. Stephanie was so helpful and gave info on hikes and other things to do in the area. She even made me brownies when we told her it was my birthday. Best site I’ve ever stayed at. 10/10 would recommend and would go again.

Although it was cold and dark when we arrived (as we camped during the winter), Stephanie's property is beautiful. It has a wood platform for a tent, gazebo with table and chairs, outhouse and a grill. We will be back in the warmer months to enjoy the other sites on the property.
FYI: if you are camping with a RTT, this property is on the side of a hill so it's difficult to find a flat spot for the vehicle.

Stephanie has one of the best campsites we’ve ever visited. She has a raised platform with tie downs for tents, table and chairs with cover and wind screen for eating, a campfire ring, outdoor covered bathroom, and a covered grilling/food prep area where she supplies a grill and utensils including metal rods for s’mores! She also has a trash can where you can dispose of trash and supplies firewood for campfires! The campsite is up a hill and has a beautiful view! Plenty of room for the pups to run off-leash too! Stephanie is amazing! She visited us the next morning and asked how everything was then gave us a gift basket full of sweet treats! This his one of the best campsites around!

We really enjoyed camping at Griffin Ridge. Stephanie was attentive to get our questions answered ahead of time and even helped us to reroute our so we could avoid the miles and miles of dirt roads into her camp. Smaller, 2WD cars like our couple of GTIs handled the gravel roads just fine, we just had to take it slow and enjoy the views driving in.
Stephanie’s camp is wonderfully outfitted with a great outhouse at the base of the camp, an awesome table with an awning (which helped give us some break against a little rain), a full sized gas grill that’s under another covered area, plus a full campfire and logs for sitting.
The camp is on a hill side, where many spots have been leveled off. There is even a clearing in the trees so you can lay on the platform and soak up the amazing night sky on a clear night.

My husband surprised me with a stay here for our first anniversary, and it was wonderful!! I was so pleasantly surprised by the little table pavilion and grill area, as well as the wooden platform we used for our tent. It looked like there were a few other spots if a group of 2-3 wanted to put up a few other tents as well. One of the best features is the outhouse (!!!) which was stocked with clean toilet paper (no leaf wiping here) and had no unpleasant odor throughout the camp. Fire pit was also well built with giant stones to keep any blaze under control. We were even provided with firewood, fresh propane in the grill, and a laminated map of nearby Boxley Valley. You can tell the owners have put so much care into the site with their landscaping and sweet amenities. Well maintained. Stephanie was so friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations for local activities and making sure we had a good time. And she let us bring along our little sport poodle for his first camping trip. Overall, our stay was amazing!! This was the perfect site for us and any other campers who enjoy roughing it in a tent but like having a bathroom and a real grill. Highly recommend!

I 100% will be staying here again. Stephanie is such an amazing soul. The best host there ever was. I’m a primitive camper and my boyfriend had never camped before. This was perfect. Isolated and primitive enough for me but still basic amenities for him. The platform for the tent was great. There’s a covered patio table with chairs, a cute fire ring with logs to sit on, a covered area with a charcoal grill and gas grill. Even has an outhouse . It’s centrally located between lots of hiking trails which is what I needed. Can’t wait to come back and stay longer!

I absolutely loved Stephanie, she is extremely hospitable & knowledgeable. Stephanie is very responsive when it comes to texting or any questions you may have about the site or area. We asked for some guidance on what to do while we were visiting and she steered us in all the right directions & even lended us fishing poles, to which we caught a few fish with.
The campground was clean, private and was very accommodating, with a platform for the tent, a grill and cooking area, seating and eating area, outhouse and more. We went here with our toddler and it was also our first time camping. We will definitely be back & suggest this site for anyone looking,

The perfect peaceful getaway located in the heart of to-do’s - amenities a huge plus! We lucked out on a cooler week in mid July & can’t wait to stay again in the fall. We felt right at home at Stephanie’s private and spacious site with our pup free to roam between the tent platform, covered dining/propane grill area, and awesome outhouse. You can tell the hosts put a lot of love into making this site cozy and functional! There’s plenty of hiking and site seeing from either entrance to this road as you’re not far from Ponca for a nice swim during the summer time.

Loved it here! Off the beaten path & the only outside noise was an occasional ATV & coyotes at night. We brought our 3 boys & our puppy & they all had a ball!
There were storms all around us all weekend, but the elevation kept the hillside dry & allowed us to listen to the storms rolling all around us while keeping us safe & dry.
