The site was nice, mostly flat, and a good amount of space. The decent down to the river was sandy and quite steep, but that wasn't a big deal for us this trip. The neighboring campsite was quite close - it would be a great pair of sites for two families together, and I hope your revisit it again with friends. That said, this trip, we didn't know the family, there was only one shared picnic table and fire pit, and they had a dog who barked when we moved around. Thankfully they weren't using the fire pit or table and we don't mind a dog, but it's something to consider. The views of Mount Rainier are beautiful and watching the bee hives was awesome! The biggest complaint we had about this site is the road noise was LOUD around 10pm. It was clear there were folks using the roads around the farm to race with very loud engines, loud enough to scare my kids. I'm not sure if this was a MDW thing or if it happens every weekend, but that may be the one thing that keeps us from visiting here again.

We went in June and site four was not occupied. So It was super peaceful, and. relaxing! The sites are super quiet and right on the river! It’s our second year of going a great place to camp

Great riverfront site! Spot 3 was a little close to ours thankfully no one had rented it. Would be good if you had family or friends to camp with. Overall would go again and recommend!

Site 2 - Camping on a farm

They made an easy access to the river from sites 3 and 4 and I seam a little both days we stayed. The barn is a marvel amd a wonder.sites 3 and 4 are on top of each other, but it was such a lovely place to stay we didn't mind. We got to talk to the former and he was nice. They were having a cool event for the rebel been company on the property.

Peaceful Camping

We enjoyed the experience of tent camping on Stephanie's farm. Being surrounded by fields and next to the Snoqualmie River made for a very relaxing experience. It was fun to watch the nearby cattle grazing and have a campfire under the stars!

The novelty hill farm was perfect for a car camping weekend! Stephanie and her family were extremely welcoming. Our campsite was right on the river which was perfect for swimming and playing with the dogs. We had a fantastic experience!

It was a great overnight stay for young kids. Playing in the river, beautiful sunflowers, bees and a nice walk to the barn. Firepit and table made it easy to roast smores and have a picnic. We would definitely stay again. There was a generator on during the day to pump water to the crops, but it went off early - and Stephanie was a quick communicator. I'd stay again!

Love how close but felt pretty remote. Dip in the snohomish was so refreshing on a hot Aug afternoon. Site was well kept and had good shade - did I mention it was really hot? We had an AMAZING sunset, beautiful cooled evening under clear starry skies and woke up to a gorgeous sunrise. We chatted a couple of times with a man that worked there (didn’t catch his name) but he was super friendly! The barn, and the short bike ride was very pretty. It seems like a great wedding venue! Bathrooms were nice and clean. Looking forward to returning someday!

Campsite by the river was easy to find - after a bit of searching we found the restrooms with running water - such a pretty place! Picked berries and walked 2 miles to town where we enjoyed an amazing meal. Very peaceful!

This was a beautiful place and definitely will try camping next to the cow fields next time with a group!!! Hosts were very nice got to see them using the river and chat for a minute! Thank you guys again

Great for after Remlinger Farm show

We camped here after a concert at Remlinger Farms and it was so nice to not have to get all the way back to the city! It was a pretty basic spot, but really that's what we needed. It was also really nice to walk around the farm the next morning and look at the bees. It's also close to Duvall, so we were able to drive through in the morning on our way out and get coffee and see the cute little strip. My only thing to note is that camp sites 1 and 2 were very close by each other, maybe 15 feet? We didn't know the other group and it was a little awkward, as they seemed annoyed we showed up even though we had set our tents up prior to the show before they were there. I feel like it would be a major improvement to space the fire pits further apart. It would be great to rent the two together for larger groups though!

A very peaceful and easy to access site, perfect for tent or truck camping! The only thing I'll say is locating the main entrance to the driveway in the evening isn't the most obvious, but I found it after a second pass!

Great spot. Couldn't find the barn with shower and flush toilet but we were gone during the day and there for a short amount of time but we didn't need it - swimming in the river was fantastic. Such a nice and quiet camp spot: 10 out of 10, would go again

Farm Camping

My siblings and I had a great time camping! We went and watched the little honey bees buzzing around, waved to the cows (who didn't seem overly interested in us 😂), watch swifts playing and picking mosquitoes out of the air, and hawks and eagles hunting. Little weasels skittered in and out of the tall grass to get a good look at us too! My sister is pregnant so she really appreciated having access to bathrooms with plumbing! We enjoyed walks around the pumpkin patches and the trail that runs along a creek heading into Duvall, and views of the wide open sky with hot air balloons and paragliders in the distance. The only suggestion for improvement would be a few small trees planted between the two sites for better privacy. We ended up moving the fire pit and table a little further away and parked our cars between the sites to break up the space a little. It wasn't an issue though, we would definitely come back!

Camping on the farm with my dogs

This was a gorgeous site, and my dogs and I loved staying here! The farm was picturesque and had easy access to the Duvall walking/biking trail. I felt very safe and relaxed. Stephanie was extremely responsive when I had questions. As the description states, sites 3 and 4 are pretty close together, so it’s ideal to book with a friend. The river was high in June, so there was limited beach access, but we enjoyed the river from our campsite. I would love to stay here again someday!

Site 2 - Camping on a farm

I rented this site to stay close to a friend who was staying in site 4 from out of town. We were hoping for a quiet river hang out spot near Duvall during the hot weekend days. The sites are super close together so if you don’t want to feel like you’re in the neighbors spot I’d definitely suggest renting both or renting with someone you know. I’d describe the river access as SEASONAL because the bank is very steep (and very over grown we had to trample down waist high grass to find the trail at all) once we slid down the hill it currently goes directly into the river without a space to stand eg- no beach. Essentially you slide down a steep bank directly into the river. I’m sure mid/late summer when the river drops there is the ability to go down the steep bank and wade but it’s not currently a safe river access location. Additionally, there were several groups of other people who came out each evening to party at the river at locations near the campsites. Friday night one group partied until around 11pm. On Saturday night a different group set off fireworks next to the campsite. The fireworks are super disruptive when trying to camp with dogs who aren’t expecting explosions in close proximity. Overall, I think a lot of this needs to be made more clear and more actually disclosed on the listing so people know what they are getting into. For the experience we expected and the actual experience available the cost of the site was too high and it was far to busy to fully relax.

Bike Trip in Snoqualmie Valley

We loved camping at Novelty Hill Farm. The property couldn’t be in a better spot to enjoy the valley- 8mi bike ride from Tolt MacDonald along Snoqualmie Valley Trail, 10min from Duvall and Carnation, and 14min from Remlinger Farms if you’re catching a show. It’s secluded and spacious with beautiful views of the valley and access to the river. Larry was such a wonderful host. Thank you for having us!! We will absolutely be back ☺️

Site 2 - Camping on a farm

We enjoyed staying at this site. We had a group of 8 people and a toddler. We reserved this site along with site 4. It was the perfect amount of space for our larger group. It was private and secluded. Prior to arrival, the host sent a map that made finding the sites very easy. Do reference the map though because the property does not have signs. While you can see the road from the upper parts of the site, you can’t hear much car noise given the large fields between you and the road.

Great campsite! The owner was super communicative, going as far as drawing a detailed map on exactly how to get to there. It's a beautiful spot, looking out at farmland with grazing cows. Easy access to a nearby trail which will get you straight to Duvall was a big plus too. We'd love to visit again.
