A river runs through this 120 acre wooded property with abundant wildlife featuring two very large spring fed ponds. Plenty of fishing, swimming, hiking and biking trails. Amazing property to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Awesome sunrises and sunsets. Listen to the frogs and the crickets while watching the fireflies dance around. We provide bedding, towels, soap, shampoo, pots, pans, kettle, cutlery, tabletop barbecue, a cooking grill, utensils, mugs, cups, drinking water and more. There is an outdoor shower available at each site. We provide enough wood for the first campfire. After that, it's $7 a bundle. All you need to bring is your food, drinks, cooler and maybe a flashlight. The camp fire will be ready and waiting for you to enjoy under a sky full of stars. Included in your stay is access to the barn games room which features air hockey, darts, music and more. There is a horse shoe pit set up just outside the barn. Our property is conveniently located to easily access all the amazing activities and sights this area has to offer. Very close to all the great stuff available at this part of Bruce peninsula. We share our backyard with our guests, we are very close to everything that Bruce county has to offer, port Elgin, Southampton, golf courses, different accesses to saugeen river where u can go fishing canoeing, tubing etc., supermarkets, native reserve, sauble beach and dozens of other ones…all at max 15 minutes distance… in the property you will find everything u need for a peaceful stay, hard to describe everything you will find but u can read our reviews, some of them have beautiful descriptions of what is here for you, you must love animals, since we have our pets all around, u are also super welcome to bring yours. One of the high points of here is the interaction u will have with the pets, they are all super friendly and will play with u every time they see u, they believe u r here for them, between, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc they will be part of your stay, this is theyr home, u r theyr guests, that’s how they think, so u must be a pet lover. For the canine: please bring your bedding, there’s a few pillows and bed covers but bring your personal bedding, queen size…Looking forward to meet you.

WINTER: Ski-In-Ski-Out. Road access is limited for extreme seclusion! The cabin is 1km off the main road. Plowing, if needed, will be at your own expense!
HUNTERS WELCOME! 85-acres of Sugarbush. Next to 700 acres of public trails called Brant Tract.
Please note, the people limit for the listing is 6 people.
***PACK IN, PACK OUT. Guests must take all garbage with them when they leave. Any trash left will result in a $50 charge per bag. Seriously. I had to sort through people's trash/recycling in the past. Not doing that again!!!

We loved our winter stay at Natalie’s cabin. There was plenty of snowfall but barely any wind making for breathtaking scenery. Parking was cleared of snow as well as pathways to the cabin and the outhouse. The cabin was the perfect size for a couple like us and warmed up quickly with the wood stove. We requested additional firewood and it was delivered promptly and was a generous amount for the price. Overall the stay was incredibly peaceful and quiet, very few cars on the road to the property. While the cabin is close to the road it is tucked nicely back and is still very private. We would absolutely stay again if we have the chance.

We had a great time staying at Camp Kyle. Natalie was very friendly and inviting. The Cabin and outhouse were very clean. There was an outdoor kitchen available with propane burners/grill. Great for heating up or making a meal. A large fire pit and plenty of outdoor space surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The wood stove inside the cabin was a perfect addition as we were able to stay warm during the night. Thank you for sharing your land with us.

The entire property is meticulously maintained and offers such a sense of peace.
Special mention: the amazing, clean pond. It was a sparkling centerpiece to the landscape! I had such a wonderful time glamping here! The place was beautiful, comfortable, and surrounded by nature — a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. The peaceful atmosphere made it such a refreshing escape from the city.
Lisa and Scott were absolutely lovely hosts — warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. Their friendly approach really made the stay feel extra special!
I loved the friendly chickens roaming around, adding a cute countryside touch. The barbecue setup was great, and spending the evening by the firewood under the stars was such a cozy experience. Kayaking was another highlight — calm waters, lovely views, and lots of fun!

Our recent stay at this cozy cabin was everything we hoped for in a family getaway. From the moment Lisa and Scott welcomed us, we felt right at home. Tucked away in such a peaceful setting, it truly felt like the perfect escape. The cabin smelled wonderfully of fresh-cut wood, the bed was so comfortable, and with camp lights, a heater, and a fire pit just steps away, our evening were so relaxing.
We loved all the little thoughtful touches—a spotless washroom, a drinking water jug, and fun outdoor games. The pond with its fountain, dock, and graceful willow tree quickly became our favorite spot. Nights by the fire with the pond lights glowing felt magical. We also adored the chicken coop—watching the hens being fed and collecting some super fresh eggs was such a treat!
Being just minutes from Durham and Hanover, with their charming shops, local restaurants, and a nearby park for hiking or fishing, made the stay even better. We can’t wait to come back!

This place is literally beautiful. We really had second thoughts before booking since it appeared too good to be true. But the way the host was responsive since the booking happened and until we were recieved by them is truly appreciable. I love that they went extra mile to put all the little details to make our stay extra helpful, specially the host helped us with starting campfire as we had no idea how to do it. Clean beds, clean washrooms. They provided us with water and grill. The cabin felt very cosy and smelled wonderful due to pinewood. They also went ahead and provided us camp lights and a heater. I haven't found a place like this on hipcamp until now, will definitely suggest. Thanks Lisa for going above and beyond.

Camping on Lisa and Scott's piece of paradise was amazing. Very serene. We were greeted upon arrival, such a lovely couple. Great place for a quiet getaway with access to their picturesque pond and property. They provide absolutely everything required for a successful getaway. Fresh well water provided was definitely a delight. Lisa reminded us she was always a text a way if needed. They have chicken coop that was quite entertaining while sitting around the fire.
All around I would definitely give Lisa and Scott a 12/10 for their piece of paradise. We will definitely be back.

Amazing experience. Me and my partner stayed for three days in early September and it was such a cozy and comfortable stay. Is clean private and perfect for people that love the outdoors. Indoor wood fire was a great way to stay warm and made for amazing ambiance. Jake made the experience super easy and I would go back in a heartbeat.

This place was soooo beautiful. Semi private. Lisa and Scott go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. The outhouse was extremely clean and has a sink for washing hands. The bunkie is newly built, smells SO GOOD. Spacious and clean. You can see the pond from the bunkie, few steps away. It's so clean and well kept. Has a dock to just zen out or float in a tube and take in the beauty of the property. They gave us fresh drinking water and re filled it the next day. Fire pit is perfect. The stars are insaine at night. Over all 10/10. Definitely recommend

My partner and I took a long weekend and stayed at the cedar creek cabin site. Upon arrival we met with both randy and Renee, they welcomed us and showed us the way via atv. (We followed in our car) they led us through a river (only ankle drop at that spot) and over a smaller creek which our car had no issues doing.
Upon entering our site, we were astounded at how large of an area our campsite was! It was huge! And everything was provided for us except our food, and extra firewood which we were able to buy as we needed.
There were many trails we could explore, and along the main road, there were places you could leave your name, and a dog library (take a stick, leave a stick)
We brought our almost 11 year old lab who loved every moment of it! We also brought our bird, who also loved being in a new location.
The property is huge, the other campers were very friendly, and I have no complaints! The weather was cold at night, but we were told ahead of time to bring extra blankets which we did!
The extra care that is put into this by randy and Renee, is outstanding! I totally recommend you to this place.

Weekend Trip to Chapelwood Chalet
This place is a hidden gem! An off grid cabin with all of the comforts of home. Jake has thought of everything, hot water shower, wood burning stove, water coming from the tap, what more could you ask for! You even get lights at night. Can’t wait to go back!
