Our 2.5 acre property is located just outside the small village of Millbank. The large lawn area is great for camping, campfires, playing games and relaxing while watching the horse and buggies of the local Amish and Mennonites go ambling by in a manner that speaks to a time gone by. We have now added a Bunkie that can be booked for a more comfortable camping experience. The Perth Harvest Pathway section of the G2G rail trail is quite literally in the backyard. for hiking , bird watching and biking. The Pine Bunkie at Tiny Farm is a two-storey, off-grid, solar-powered pine bunkie on a small, beautiful five-acre hobby farm outside St. Marys, Ontario. It sleeps two comfortably and it's the kind of place made for good books and songs around the campfire. The main floor has a sitting area, a small kitchen with fridge, sink and coffee maker, and a BBQ outside for cooking. The loft above, reached by ladder, which is part of the charm, holds a queen bed with east-facing windows. Leave the window open and let the sound of birdsong be the first thing you hear in the morning. Outside, a fire pit with red Muskoka chairs looks out over fields and a hedgerow that hums with birds and butterflies all summer. Your first fire is on us. We had an amazing long weekend here and truly enjoyed every moment. The place was very clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. Everything was neat and well thought out, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The washroom was spotless, water was provided, and the hosts even arranged electricity for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The whole atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The cabin smelled wonderfully of fresh wood, and it was so nice to fall asleep while listening to the rain. We used the grill, enjoyed the clean and well-kept property, and spent our mornings drinking coffee by the pond. Our dog had the best time running around, swimming in the small pond, and watching the frogs 🐸 she was very curious and really wanted to play with them! There were also chickens on the property, and we were happy to buy fresh eggs to take home with us. A big thanks to Lisa and Scott for their hospitality. They were very kind, welcoming, and responsive to any request we had. We truly felt welcomed and comfortable during our stay. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back. It was a wonderful place for a peaceful getaway and an unforgettable weekend. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We had an amazing experience at this cabin with my friends. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. One of our favourite parts was the large gazebo , even when it rained, we were able to sit comfortably underneath and enjoy our breakfast without any issues. The location was also very easy to find, with clear and straightforward directions. Honestly, if I ever plan another camping trip or want a cozy cabin getaway, I would most likely choose this place again.Another thing that really stood out for us was the privacy. We didn’t see any cars or people around at all, which gave the place a true “deep in the forest” vibe. It was peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for. Big thanks to the hosts for such a great experience!

This was the perfect little get away. We stopped on a weekend trip to towards Tobermory. The cabin is so cute and surrounded by quiet nature. It is very close to nearby towns so you can pop out easily. Host was very accommodating and responsive if any questions pop up. 1000% would go again for a nice little stop.

We loved our winter stay at Natalie’s cabin. There was plenty of snowfall but barely any wind making for breathtaking scenery. Parking was cleared of snow as well as pathways to the cabin and the outhouse. The cabin was the perfect size for a couple like us and warmed up quickly with the wood stove. We requested additional firewood and it was delivered promptly and was a generous amount for the price. Overall the stay was incredibly peaceful and quiet, very few cars on the road to the property. While the cabin is close to the road it is tucked nicely back and is still very private. We would absolutely stay again if we have the chance.

We had a great time staying at Camp Kyle. Natalie was very friendly and inviting. The Cabin and outhouse were very clean. There was an outdoor kitchen available with propane burners/grill. Great for heating up or making a meal. A large fire pit and plenty of outdoor space surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The wood stove inside the cabin was a perfect addition as we were able to stay warm during the night. Thank you for sharing your land with us.

Fantastic little well-equipped bunkie with excellent privacy on a quiet and spacious lot! Chris and Denise were wonderful and very easygoing hosts who ensured our group had what we needed and gave us a quick tour of the site before giving us free range for the duration of our stay. The shop has an impressive array of trailers onsite to gander at while there, and the shop building bathroom was a nice luxury to have for group camping. Our recent stay at this cozy cabin was everything we hoped for in a family getaway. From the moment Lisa and Scott welcomed us, we felt right at home. Tucked away in such a peaceful setting, it truly felt like the perfect escape. The cabin smelled wonderfully of fresh-cut wood, the bed was so comfortable, and with camp lights, a heater, and a fire pit just steps away, our evening were so relaxing. We loved all the little thoughtful touches—a spotless washroom, a drinking water jug, and fun outdoor games. The pond with its fountain, dock, and graceful willow tree quickly became our favorite spot. Nights by the fire with the pond lights glowing felt magical. We also adored the chicken coop—watching the hens being fed and collecting some super fresh eggs was such a treat! Being just minutes from Durham and Hanover, with their charming shops, local restaurants, and a nearby park for hiking or fishing, made the stay even better. We can’t wait to come back!

This place is literally beautiful. We really had second thoughts before booking since it appeared too good to be true. But the way the host was responsive since the booking happened and until we were recieved by them is truly appreciable. I love that they went extra mile to put all the little details to make our stay extra helpful, specially the host helped us with starting campfire as we had no idea how to do it. Clean beds, clean washrooms. They provided us with water and grill. The cabin felt very cosy and smelled wonderful due to pinewood. They also went ahead and provided us camp lights and a heater. I haven't found a place like this on hipcamp until now, will definitely suggest. Thanks Lisa for going above and beyond.

Camping on Lisa and Scott's piece of paradise was amazing. Very serene. We were greeted upon arrival, such a lovely couple. Great place for a quiet getaway with access to their picturesque pond and property. They provide absolutely everything required for a successful getaway. Fresh well water provided was definitely a delight. Lisa reminded us she was always a text a way if needed. They have chicken coop that was quite entertaining while sitting around the fire. All around I would definitely give Lisa and Scott a 12/10 for their piece of paradise. We will definitely be back.
