Stay here for a day or a week, this off-grid little resort has all the necessities that one would need, and make you want to come back again!
We are excited to offer 3 off-grid log cabins, providing a highly private setting. 20 min to Parry Sound. These cabins are located within 75 acres of forest. Each cabin features either two single beds or one king-size bed. Cabins are insulated but have no heat so bring own pillows, blankets and sleeping bags. Accommodation is limited to two adults per cabin.
Common areas for all cabins include:
1) Outdoor Kitchen (includes pots, pans, dishes, cups, utensils etc.),
2) Freezer/Fridge,
3) BBQ,
4) Indoor Shower (hot and cold water),
5) Outdoor Shower (hot and cold water) and
6) Toilet/Outhouse with running cold water.
The large BBQ is equipped with 5 burners for the grill. There is also 1 side pot burner for foiling water and another ceramic grilling burner.
Additionally, we have three tent spots available, with one designated for each cabin. There is ample parking space for guests. You can enjoy the convenience of a shower with hot water and a BBQ pit.
Address is 261 Star Lake rd. Seguin. Its the second driveway when going north on Star lake rd. Look for a sign MAPLE RIVERS LANE.
From Hwy 400, get off on hwy 141. Go east towards Rosseau. Turn left at Tally Hoe/Swords, then right at Turtle lake rd and left at Star lake rd.
Explore the various trails for hiking, mountain biking, and even a small white water creek. There are plenty of lakes in the surrounding area. Seguin Trail is just 1 km away. A beautiful Maple Key Park and sandy beach awaits you only 4 km from the site. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the nearby historic town of Orrville.

Fire wood is all around the forest Pick anything that is down and enjoy the common fire pit. Also a flashlight and some bug spray might help.
This is a family oriented camping:
1) Please refrain from using offensive language,
2) Smoking allowed around fire pit only,
3) Please place all cigarette butts in fire pit,
4) Absolutely no candles allowed, (if desired please use insents only!)
5) Parties allowed only upon verbal consent from the management,
6) We have no cleaning fee so please keep your cabin neat and tidy.
7) Before checkout please place all garbage in and around the cabin into main bin located beside the outdoor kitchen.
8) Cabin floor should be swept using broom provided in the cabin.

We have 4.4 acres of land on a spring fed lake. (Even though it is spring fed the water is warm for swimming.) We are located between Trout Creek and Port Loring on Hwy 522. We have 3 vintage trailers, each with a slightly different experience.
Enjoy kayaking, canoeing, swimming and fishing. We also have a 4 person paddle boat. Bring water shoes if you have them. The water edge is in it's natural state.
The trailers come fully equipped. You need only bring food, bedding and 1 pound propane tanks to use the small barbeque.
Our property is off the electric grid. The trailers have fridges and stoves powered by propane and the lights are powered by battery recharged with solar panels. We do not at this time have running water and the toilets are clean outhouses - not stinky and disgusting.
We have a couple of small docks and you can fish right from the dock. If you are a bird lover you will enjoy watching the blue heron and hearing the loons and frogs sing at night.
This property often experiences spectacular sun sets.

Our remote off grid property in the forest east of Eagle Lake is a great place to disconnect and decompress. The roadside Bunkie sleeps 2 comfortably and can accommodate a RV trailer or tent as well. Pets are welcome.

This "Cozy Cabin" sleeps 4 in beds comfortably, however someone may sleep on the couch or pitch tents on the property or by the water.
Located on a 1 acre property on Magnetawan River in Dunchurch, Ontario this little piece of heaven is a separate area in front of our cottage and should be used as a "glamping experience" on water.
We love to host people for time away in the fresh forest country air. Many enjoy their time here hiking, fishing or just hanging out reading a book, playing some games or relaxing. You are more than welcome to use our canoe and kayaks, just be sure to wear life jackets, your safety is a priority to us.
Dunchurch is well known for its amazing trails such as the Wild Cat ATV Trail only 10 mins from the front door of the Cabin. We are happy to allow you to use the area at your leisure however, please note you must have your own ATV’s and insurance for riding recreational/motorized vehicles, we do not provide coverage for this. If you are considering guides for ATV Trail riding, please let us know. We are happy to make separate bookings for this on weekdays or even weekends.
There is an Outhouse just steps from the Cozy Cabin front door to be used for your bathroom needs (just note there is no running water in either the Outhouse or the Cabin). There is a wash station beside the Outhouse for cleaning up, washing dishes or meal prep.
Loads of private parking for vehicle(s), recreational toys or other.
Inside the Cabin is a queen bed and twin bunks, down filled couch, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, bar size fridge and some games are included for your enjoyment. Be sure to bring along bedding (including pillow cases) and anything else you would bring along camping.
Outside the Cabin is a fire pit (bring along firewood wood), charcoal bbque (bring along charcoal), waterfront/beach, a community park a min walking distance away for play time (sand volleyball court, swing set).
Wifi, TV and Fire Stick provided.
Wake up in the morning and enjoy your own porch with rocking chairs to watch the sun come up.
We are only 30 mins to Parry Sound for all your amenities. Dunchurch also has Whitestone Lake with Public swimming, boat launch and Community Centre, LCBO, Nurses Station and Conveniences which is only 10 mins away. Whitestone is also well known for 11 lakes within a 5 km radius of the property.

It was amazing! The bunkie was adorable and even in the middle of winter they accommodated.
In the winter months the access road turns into an OSFC trail! That was a bit of a shocker but we made it and it seems as though Michelle keeps it fairly maintained up until the bunkie, so thank you. Also looks like Theres a lot more to offer when Theres no snow. Definitely coming back in the summer

I loved my stay in dome sara was very welcoming. It was my first time glamping experience we had a great experience. It was warm and cozy great facilities provided by sara check in and check out was very easy and details provided by sara was in so detail that everything went so smooth. Will definitely visit again.

4 nights at Lighthouse Landing Camp
We had a great time at Light House Landing! We celebrated our 6th anniversary at the cabin and it was a great experience, we woke up every morning to a beautiful sunrise on the lake! Jim, Alyssa and Fran have created such a welcoming environment and were great hosts (like texting to tell us turtles were hatching on the beach one morning or showing us how to feed the chickadees). The cabins were very nice, clean and on the water. We would highly recommend this little slice of paradise

Weekend Trip to Forest & Farm Wilderness Retreat
We loved camping on Jen’s land! The directions were clear, the trailer was very clean, cozy, and very comfortable. My kids loved seeing the farm animals and we all loved hiking to the waterfall and seeing the beautiful views of nature. The bonfire with marshmallow roasting was a highlight too!

Weekend Trip to Ahki House
Very lovely spot! Quiet & very tucked away. This made it one of my best hip camp experiences by far, plus the wild life was active saw about 6 deers I think white tailed. Killbear provincial park is 45 min away nice trails & views ! Along with hatchery trail/waterfall. Amazing time! Nice way to end the summer! Thanks David!!

We had an amazing time and Pat and Mario are wonderful hosts that make your stay so enjoyable ! Pine Lake is gorgeous and so are the sunrises and sunsets that go with it. The fishing was incredible and the trailer and outhouse were super clean . We will be going again next year for sure!

Second time up to Maple Rivers Log cabins, Sequin, Parry Sound. Was there last year. Cabin 3, Dariusz,s 3 cabins are set in a beautiful, serene setting surrounded by a mixed forest, of pines, maples, Birch..., they are off grid, nicely spaced , in the center a large community fire pit. Trails to follow to a deep gorge, shower, large fridge freezer to share with fellow hip camper,s, Large BBQ, outdoor sink, kitchen area to wash dishes. Some dishes to use. Garbage container. Pit toilet never smells. The host's friendly dog "Daisy" comes to play fetch with balls or sticks., Maple lake is 20 mins away as is Orrville general store. And Rousseau. Dariusz is very friendly host always willing to answer questions, fix any concerns. His wife is of great help as well. I highly recommend Maple Rivers Log Cabins, and will keep going back. Thank you Dariusz for your hospitality. Thanks for your company Daisy girl. And Tito, Daisy will teach you well. Blessings

I loved my stay at the cabin! Although there is no electricity from the grid, Dariusz uses propane and solar cells to equip the camp with a fridge/freezer, hot water, and light, which I really liked. I loved Daisy, their female Border Collie; she protects the visitors during the nights by sleeping under one of the cabins, and she is a lovely companion during the day! Bring a ball, she loves playing with other dogs with the ball. My dog and I really enjoyed our week there: fresh air, quiet and rustic place, lots of hiking opportunities around, and off-leash walks/play on the property. Will definitely return next year.

Amazing spot! There were way more things available than mentioned on the site. It was peaceful, and we loved being able to walk about 30 minutes to reach a beautiful lake for swimming. 14 nights at NORTHERN ESCAPE CAMPGROUND
I would recommend this cabin to anyone who loves being in the bush. It is very peaceful and relaxing. This cute little cabin is well equipped with everything you would need to be comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating in every aspect. There was no issues finding this campground. There is a beach just minutes down the road at Eagle Lake Narrows. I will camp here again. I would highly recommend this property even for tent camping.

A beautiful spot with excellent accommodations. Michelle provided such a perfect spot, set up in a way that was easy for us to be comfortable and enjoy the nature around us. The area is gorgeous, and we enjoyed hiking trails in the area and sightseeing. There is also a town close by with everything you need.

1 night at Maple Rivers Log Cabins
This cabin is exactly what I needed. Just a slight glamp in the middle of the trip allowed me to reset and these cabins were perfect for it. There is no electric here of any sort so don’t plan on plugging anything in.
Simple yet so much more fun than setting up a tent. Again. Bravo

Hidden gem! Dariusz was very quickly with responses, last minute we booked 2 cabins and both were incredible, there’s everything you can need here if you are unprepared, it’s quiet and even a friendly dog comes by every now and then, very nice dog and listen very good if you see the dog throw a stick, it loves fetch. Clean cabins, the outhouse was very clean as well. Highly recommend going here if you’re looking for a quiet but convenient get away. About 10 mins away is maple lake which had public access and you should go to as well!

I struggle to find the right words to describe what an AMAZING time I experienced at Lighthouse Landing. The location is beautiful, with an abundance of wildflowers, pristine waterfront access steps away from any location on the property, and cabins that provide the right balance between comfort and practicality. More importantly, Jim, Alyssa, Asher and Fran (Granny) make the place what it is, Superb! They are friendly, inviting, caring, thoughtful and kind. Somehow they get the balance right between being available to ensure your enjoyment and providing an environment of peace and privacy. My five days four night at this location reminded me of the healing powers of nature, a beautiful setting, and amazing hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at Lighthouse Landing Camp. The cabin was cozy, surrounded by nature which provided many relaxing moments. What made the stay even better were the hosts. Always friendly and helpful, providing local suggestions as well as sharing their personal stories of the camp's history. We came back home feeling refreshed, relaxed and looking forward to another opportunity to stay at this beautiful location.
