We absolutely loved our stay in the microcabin.
We stayed in winter and got the privellege of seeing a beautiful snowy landscape, getting cozy by the fire (inside and outside). Not only was the facillity beautifly maintained with everything we needed to cook amazing meals over the fire, great insulation and activities and books for our leasure.
The hosts are absolutely amzing, helping us with any questions and concerns and sharing how they are being sustainable and supporting the local community. The sheep tour was well worth it aswell if you are a fellow animal lover.
The property offers a beutiful walking trail that had me and my partner in awe.
We will be back to experience the beauty in other seasons!

The added touches to this stay made it a perfect romantic weekend getaway.
The old woodfire place that was perfect to cook in, the decorative wall hangings, the added extra coffees and hot chocolates, all the plates and silverware you will need.
The outdoor fire pit, the picnic table underneath decorative lights.
It was a magical weekend for two adults and a pup. Only a short drive outside of Edmonton and easy to find. ( 1 hour )
Highly recommend and look forward to going back.

We absolutely loved the tiny cabin and beautiful property. So well taken care oof and they thought of every detail plus more. Super friendly hosts and so hard working. The space is very clean, cozy, comfortable, peaceful. We enjoyed our privacy, the camp is safe & family friendly. It was our first camping experience and Denika was a huge helper, she answered all our questions even sometimes wasn’t really related to our booking. The camp is great choice if you want to experience of being camping but very suitable for families especially if you have little ones.
Denika’s family -all- were so welcoming and supportive. Her adorable girls are so sweet and great friends if you’ve little ones 🥰 We loved their quick response to change the compost toilet, refilling the water & ….etc
Their Homemade Breakfast is a must try, we couldn’t resist reordering it twice😋 Yoga session was relaxing.
We enjoyed the sandy beaches at Pigeon lake, Ma-Mo lake, hiking and we rent a water paddle. The Nature Shower was our daily treat after barbecuing and playing.
Everything is near by and accessible (15 mins) grocery, clothing, gas station, …. so don’t overpack.

It was more than I expected. The tiny cabin was honestly better than the photos. I loved being able to feed the animals. The breakfast was amazing, so much food and a variety and homemade goodies jams and bread etc!.
The pottery aroma therapy etc. this is somewhere my group and I will be back to. I also plan to bring my family for a separate little camping trip.
The site are great weather your looking at glamping tents the tiny cabin or just tent/camping spots. The outdoor shower looked amazing although we didn't get to try it.
There is an entire kid friendly area which my 9yr old loved! The family is more than you could ask for for hosts.
They have composting toilets, there are 3 beaches very close by within a 5-13 min drive.
Can't wait to go back to experience more fun with friends and family, and honestly maybe even just drop in for the items they sell at the market. I'm in love with my roll on perfume. Next time I definitely want to book massage, so many options and different things to do. All I can say is you gotta go at least once. You won't regret it.

Barbara's land offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by stunning natural beauty and a serene atmosphere. My friends and I had an unforgettable stay and truly appreciated Barbara's warm hospitality, along with the cheerful presence of her friendly dog, Fox.

Charming chalet with a spacious deck overlooking a serene pond. Bright, clean interior with a well-stocked kitchen. Fantastic outdoor space perfect for barbecues and campfires. The kids had a blast on the trampoline. Fox is the sweetest, most friendly dog we’ve ever met. Fox remained calm and gentle, even with our feisty puppy around. Loved the Finnish sauna.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The cabin is so cozy and cute. Dani and Josh were amazing hosts, friendly and accommodating in every way. The view of the stars and the atmosphere was beautiful. They even had a telescope in the cabin and a great selection of books to read. The cabin holds heat very well and is the perfect size for 2 people. Daniel and Josh even recommended the cutest little places around town to check out and it made our trip even better. For my stay i was in an air cast and they went out of their way to make sure all areas were shoveled and salted and put out bags to protect the cast from the wet ground and snow. I honestly can't rate my stay high enough. This is deffinetly one to check out!

The hospitality at Dani and Josh's cabin was fantastic! We added on a breakfast basket and charcuterie board, which were both awesome. The cabin was cozy and relaxing with the wood stove, definitely a great place to get a few days of rest and relaxation. Highly recommend the sheep tour!
