We have a half acre lake front lot with privacy. We have access directly to the lake from the lot and a laneway for a small boat as well. There is fishing, paddle boarding, boating, hiking and walking on these quiet roads in the wilderness. The Bay of Fundy is down the road maybe 2-5 min. If you want peace and quiet then here it is, a nice fresh lot on a lake out in the middle of no where. We DO NOT have any any of the equipment (kayaks, paddle boards and fishing equip) there you must bring your own. There is no washroom or electricity yet, so please be aware of this.

Oh. My. Gawd. Where to start?! This is one of the original properties for the area. Owned by one lovely family since the 1700's until your current (very lucky) host. The house was the post office from 1861 to 1961. One of the rooms was the hospice for the area... SPOOOOOKY!!! There is a culvert from the 1700's on the property from where the province moved the highway sometime before the 40's. Neat! Reggie took over ownership in 2020 and is keeping things as original as possible, but adding his touch, like his battle axe travel trailer, Franny, which makes her home in the driveway. She's worth a visit! - TENT ADVANCED LEVEL LAKESIDE is by far the most beautiful; however, it is a small area, located on the edge of the property, and I can't be responsible for the neighbours to a certain extent. Fort Nova is your home for as long as you choose. Let's get campy! **KEEP IN MIND THAT THERE MAY BE OTHERS STAYING THERE** But there are multiple areas to choose from, including: the lawn, living amongst the pines, a forest clearing, or even lakeside (it's rough back there). You can have complete privacy and feel free to reach out to me at the house if you need anything. For those with RV's, there is an exterior outlet and a water spigot, but please remember, others might be staying there so we need to play nice and share! On the property, there is: - A decent-sized lake (I wish I had a canoe... :( ) - 1700's abandoned bridge - Lots of foraging (Won't be held liable if ya eat something silly!) - Rail Trail (runs through the property) So many bloody things to do nearby: - The ocean is right across the street. - Oasis Fish and Chips (Also right across the street!) - Beech Street Kitchen (in Lockeport) - Barrington (Lobster capital of the world, UFO capital of Canada) - Brooklyn (Hank Snow's hometown) - Provincial Parks - Boxing Rock Brewing Co.

This is a space to slow down. Camp by the river with your tent or fully self contained RV, and enjoy the peaceful river reflections and sounds of nature. Roughing it, but not too rough. Solar lanterns illuminate the path to the water. Your stay will be completely private. The yard is fenced in case you have a dog. Close to town but far enough away to feel rural. Reception but no wifi at the river. Set up a slack line or hammock in the daytime, explore the region, and enjoy a fire at night (currently there's a fire ban, scheduled to lift in October). The river is fantastic for kayaking, canoeing and SUP. You can rent them in town, or BYO. I have one paddleboard available (and two life jackets) if you want to explore the water.

Our farm is nestled between two brooks and sheltered by the North Mountain, just outside the quaint village of Lawrencetown. Say hello to our friendly horses and sheep! Conveniently located 30 minutes east of Annapolis Royal, 50 minutes east of Digby, and 50 minutes west of Wolfville. There many lovely towns to stop in on your drive through the valley. You can be on the shore of the Bay of Fundy in 15 minutes. We are a 4 minute drive to the Annapolis Valley Exhibition grounds. With so many beaches, wineries, orchards, restaurants, trails and waterways nearby - you won't run out of things to do! Enjoy your morning coffee while the sun rises over the North Mountain, and if you're lucky, a sighting of the deer that frequent the property. After a busy day spent exploring the valley, enjoy gazing up at the milky way (stargazing is incredible here with some of the darkest skies in North America) next to a crackling campfire. Fall asleep to the sounds of our brooks' gentle burbling, and coyotes howling in the distance.

We own 58 acres of forest centered on a very old shale pit near Crescent Beach, Nova Scotia. Our long-term mission is to regenerate the landscape, returning all of the property to a forest in time. We hope to establish small camping compounds for family, friends and guests who would like to stay with us and enjoy the amazing scenery of Nova Scotia's beautiful South Shore. Located just below Huey Lake, our property is watered by a stream that flows from the lake, through a series of tiny waterfalls in a gorge, through beautiful pine, maple, and oak forest down to a meandering wetland that drains into the Petite Riviere watershed. Beavers are active in the area and have already begun the process of returning the old quarry to the wilderness. Their activities have created deep ponds where once there was a pit dug from the land for the shale that is abundant in this area. The beavers dammed and diverted the stream which has created a pond and wetland system at the lower end of the property. If you are very quiet in the early morning you may get to see Castor as he busily swims about his watery home. Located near some of the most beautiful features of Lunenburg County, our property is a 5-minute drive from Crescent Beach, Risser's Beach Provincial Park, and Petite Riviere. Opportunities to cycle, hike, swim, canoe, kayak, surf and sail are all around us.
