Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
This is a space to slow down. Camp by the river with your tent or fully self contained RV, and enjoy the peaceful river reflections and sounds of nature. Roughing it, but not too rough. Solar lanterns illuminate the path to the water. Your stay will be completely private. The yard is fenced in case you have a dog. Close to town but far enough away to feel rural. Reception but no wifi at the river. Set up a slack line or hammock in the daytime, explore the region, and enjoy a fire at night (currently there's a fire ban, scheduled to lift in October). The river is fantastic for kayaking, canoeing and SUP. You can rent them in town, or BYO. I have one paddleboard available (and two life jackets) if you want to explore the water.Suitable for a tent or self contained campervan, this grassy flat spot near the river is yours to enjoy. The campfire area is rustic, a ring of rocks at the moment, but subject to upgrade without notice. Bring your own firewood. Currently no wifi, cell reception is good, Starlink is limited due to tree cover.

Riverside Campsite Nova Scotia
Suzanne is an amazing host. So accomodating and really wanted to make sure I had a great experience. PLUS the spot by the river is gorgeous! You can hear a little traffic from the road but it was faint and silent at night. Generally so peaceful and the reflection of the red barn across the river looked like a painting. It is a picturesque spot.
