You’ve found it. When you book a stay on our cozy 5-acre property near Mt. Baker, you get the entire site to yourself—no other campers. Just total privacy and open skies. We live on site and have a shared bathroom (newly updated with a sink, toilet, high-pressured shower, and tub -- also located directly across from the sauna making it easy to rinse!) What You'll Get: Exclusive Use of the Entire 5-Acre Property. No other guests. No interruptions. Just you, your crew, and the wild beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Stay Your Way: Bring your RV, camper van, or pitch a tent anywhere you like. There's ample room and electric plug-ins for RVs, plus water fill-up access for your convenience. The Little Red House: A charming, simple cabin with a queen-size bed, soft pillows and blankets, electric, and space for storage or extra sleeping. Private River Access w/ Room to Roam: Explore miles of riverbanks and find hidden spots to swim, sunbathe, wade, or let your pets run free. Since the 2021 floods, the river changes with every season—no two visits are ever the same. Relax in a Custom-Built Sauna: After a day of hiking, skiing, or wandering the river, unwind in our 10-person sauna cabin, designed for deep relaxation, muscle recovery, intimate moments (privacy lock inside), and honoring your body. Ideal Location: A short distance from Mt. Baker adventures and just minutes to local restaurants, gas stations, and essentials—seclusion without completely sacrificing convenience. Our home and land are perfect for nature lovers, foragers, bird watchers, road trippers, skiers, snowboarders, hikers, snowmobilers, photographers, and anyone needing a quiet reset. Enjoy a laid back PNW landscape with tons of local outdoor activities, wildlife, wilderness, trails, food, beer, and wine. We have a series of waterfalls, at Racehorse Falls, just a few miles from your campsite (a must see, short or long hike, swimming pools, fossils, and extreme beauty). There's mountain biking, a local lake within driving distance (rent paddle boards and kayaks - family friendly), river front walks, mountainous views, hikes, mountain biking, etc. We have indoor cats, several chickens, a sauna, and bonfire area. Mt. Baker is only an hour away from our home for all your skiing, snowboarding, hiking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, etc. needs! We'd love to have you and share our favorite places and experiences with you in Whatcom County! We'll have garbage, recycling, X-Large bath towels, RV plugins, electric, and sauna towels! Bring your river shoes, stove, BBQ, sandals, kitchen appliances, bug spray, portable speakers for music, chairs, hammocks, shade tents, coffee setups, outdoor games, extra portable tables for table space as needed, ice chests, wood for your evening fires, and water bottles as you desire. You will be camping across from the Nooksack River behind our home on 5 acres. It's simple, plenty of space and gorgeous views -- river front on one side fields and wide open space on the other. Guests will enjoy access to a 10 person sauna, wide open fields, riverside views, and plenty of privacy. This private site is for tents, campervans or RVs to enjoy. Enjoy a laid back PNW landscape with tons of local outdoor activities, wildlife, wilderness, trails, food, beer, and wine. I parked my trailer looking at the mountains and it felt very private. The bathroom access was a nice bonus and Heather was generous and thoughtful. A perfect sport for proximity to some hiking at Mt. Baker.

We had an amazing time! Our company consisted of people from 3 year old to mature adults), and everyone found something to enjoy. Heather is a great host! The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, the bathroom had everything and more. Sauna, trampoline, volleyball net, fire pit, small red house, river across the road, we loved it all! Cannot wait to visit again!

She’s created a magical little retreat: a super cozy, ultra-private, tiny cabin that wraps you in comfort while still giving you that authentic camping vibe. 🏕️💫 And let’s talk about the perks—because they are NEXT LEVEL. The views? Breathtaking. The river access and proximity to Mt. Baker adventures? UNREAL. 🏞️🎿 You’ll be soaking in nature one minute and relaxing in her incredible sauna the next. Oh, and did I mention the fresh eggs? 🍳 Yes, please! And if you’ve got a pup, they’re in for a treat too—Heather’s place is a doggie paradise with a safe space to roam and play. 🐶💕 Seriously, this is hands down one of my all-time FAVORITE HipCamps. There are many great hipcamps, but I can say confidently that Heather is the best hipcamp host, ever!! We loved our stay!! You immediately see all the thought she’s put into the experience on her property. The cabin was so perfect and cozy and the sauna was sooo relaxing! .

Heather is an absolute dream of a host. Her place is so peaceful, we were there for a graduation weekend at Western Washington University. And settling into the sauna in the evening was such a delight. Would absolutely recommend.!

The place and views were amazing. Very nice and calm off a road with barely any traffic and the river across it. The parking area was leveled and easy to park, Power and water hook ups. We had our camper van and didn't get to use the small cabin bit it was so cozy in there. Probably my favorite was the sauna wood cabin with burning fire. Sooo relaxing. Great hiking areas just off the property and withing a 10 minute drive. As for our host- Heather has got to be one of the coolest people and most active people we've ever met. Very helpful and friendly, tentative to your needs. Nice little touches to boost your experience you'll get to enjoy when staying there. Again, Thank you Heather!!!

Perfect property for a getaway. Heather showed us around her property and put together a basket with fresh eggs and veggies from her garden. A huge bonus was the cute little cabin at the site that we decided to sleep in, so cozy, I would live in it. Our dog was able to run around in the little field at the site and the mountain views were unbeatable. Heather also provided so many great recs as we didn't have much of a plan. Oh, and the SAUNA, rustic and relaxing. Hope to be back some day!

Heather is a wonderful host! She goes above and beyond to ensure guests are comfortable. We appreciated 1) detailed pre-arrival communications 2) warm in-person, on-site welcome tour 3) fresh garden veggies and fresh free-range eggs ! The bathroom shower was legitimately incredible-- high pressured, spacious and with well-appointed toiletries. The backyard mountain views were incredible, and location was easy in/out to the Mt Baker highway. We will return!

Loved our stay! The property has amazing views, river access within just a few minute walk, a cozy little cabin to stay in, a unique steam room to detox, and so much more nearby to explore. Host is also beyond lovely and thoughtful. It really shows that she cares about the campers having a good time. While booking we initially thought it was a bit spendy for a night, but everyone was completely worth it. This place checks off all of the marks! Thank you Heather

Great location- very spacious area that we had 2 toddlers and 5 adults. The kids had a blast running around the grass and seeing the chickens. (Also fresh eggs were great)The sauna was amazing! We stayed in the small cabin and it was so cozy and comfortable! The river was quite low and was more of a stream but we still enjoyed sitting in the sun by the water

We had an amazing stay at this spot! Heather was super easy going and a joy to talk to. Her place had everything my group needed and more. The sauna was a fantastic touch, especially with the chilly nights. The bathroom was extremely clean and well-stocked. The cabin itself was incredibly nice and cozy, with a beautiful view of the mountains. We had access to a grill with charcoal, table, fire wood, and a small fire pit. It will be hard finding another spot as nice as this one. Highly recommend!

Heather's campsite was absolutely perfect! She gave us a warm welcome and took us on a tour of the property, sharing helpful tips and information. The site was spacious and secluded, making it the ideal spot for our dog and us. Even though the fire pit was unavailable due to fire season, Heather provided an extra table for our portable gas stove, making it easy for us to cook. The little cabin was cozy and clean, with a queen-size bed, a cute chair, small lamps, etc. Although I brought my own tent, I ended up spending most of my time in the cabin. The sauna and bathroom were spotless, and Heather's fresh eggs and zucchini were a delicious treat. While the river level was a bit low, it was still perfect for swimming. The convenience of a nearby convenience store and coffee shop was an added bonus. We can't wait to come back!

This place was such a hidden treasure . The whole trip was beautiful and relaxing! from the river just minutes away ( right across the street & down a short path/ mini hike ) to the luxurious sauna everything was amazing . I recently broke my ankle and Im in a boot . I was looking for a family camping trip with out the hassle and packed camping spots. We were surprised to find a cute cabin on site fully furnished and available to sleep in. We were with two dogs and our daughter so we stayed in our tent because we are a pretty messy group lol but if we were on a date glamping trip we would have definitely stayed in the cute cabin! The sauna had essential oils & robes to wear! Loved that the bathroom came with the cutest mini toiletries, body oil and exfoliate. This was like glamping at a spa farm. There is a big open field and you can choose were ever you want to set up. We will definitely be back. Thank you Heather for being an amazing host . We loved the farm fresh eggs and garden veggies !

Absolutely enchanting little spot with so many surprises both on and off the property! Heather and her son are lovely hosts, and have created something really special here. There are shaded spots to tent. An open field to tent in. Three RV hookups. And even a little bed/cottage log cabin! The bathroom is magnificent and newly renovated to the highest standard. It’s her home’s main bathroom but has both an exterior and interior locking door, so privacy is not an issue. There is also a log cabin sauna with wood stove and essential oils! Across the tiny dead end street is the North Fork of the Nooksack River, which is accessible by a little trail and even has a comfy overlook with a bench. The river was low when we stayed there, so it was easy to find slow spots to soak in, shallow areas to wade, and deeper faster waters further away. But, more important than anything, Heather and her son made us feel welcome and at home. We were instantly comfortable with them and felt like real friends. Mt Baker is close. Glacier is close. Eagle watching is literally across the street. And we have no doubt we will be back!
