Peaceful
Bradley’s land was breathtaking. There were views in all directions. It was relaxing and peaceful. We didn’t end up staying our whole time due to a family emergency and we needed to get home, but will definitely like to make it back out again.

Thanksgiving Stay
The views and landscapes on Bradley’s property are amazing. The campsites are spacious and plenty of room to spread out. The shared commode was clean and maintained which was a nice bonus to the campsite. Bradley stopped by and introduced himself, very friendly, and had great information on local trails, pointed out mountains, and things to do. The sky view of the stars at night was tremendously amazing. It’s snowed one night of our stay and seeing the mountains covered in snow was an unforgettable site. It’s great waking up in the mornings and not hearing any neighbors or camper doors like in traditional campgrounds.
We took an off-road trail through the mountains to Terlinqua which was something fun to do. It is definitely recommended to have four-wheel-drive or a vehicle with good suspension as some of the roads have larger gravel. All in all it’s a great place for primitive camping.

Remote Camping
This campsite has amazing 360 degree views day and night! Surrounded by mountains and all the stars you can see. If you are looking for remote camping, this is the place. We didn’t see another person or hear any vehicles while camping here, very peaceful! Getting there takes a little while but it’s part of the experience.

This place was amazing! Remote and perfect for stargazing, we were able to see lots of shooting stars. Sunrise was also gorgeous and the fog gave it a dreamy effect. Owner’s home was a mile away, but you can’t see it (good combination of privacy, yet safe proximity) We will definitely come back.

Very clean and the view is amazing
This is the second time I have stayed here and again it was great! (This might be TMI but I am going to tell you anyway) The outhouse is super clean and doesn't smell! It is definitely my #1 place to go #2 while camping :).
The view here is beautiful and highly recommend it!

We arrived at night and in the morning when we woke up the view was stunning. The sun rising over the mountains was amazing to wake up to. The stars are so bright at night as well. We loved the picnic table and shade. Little bit of a drive on dirt roads but it was fun. The owner was also very helpful with directions or questions we had.

Excellent place to camp
We absolutely loved our spot that Bradley provided. It was clean and well maintained and the scenery and stars at night are second to none. I loved the fact that the spot was off the beaten path and very secluded. My two sons and I spent three nights there and we would do it again in a heart beat.

Great secluded camp up in the mountains! Road is a little rough getting in, but take it slow and you'll be fine, I made it up the mountain in a sonic and the other camper in a fiesta! Once you arrive you'll be rewarded by fantastic views and desert landscapes. Stars are amazing here as well as the proximity to Big Bend National Park.

I’ve stayed at many places in teralingua, this is by far the best. It’s everything you could possibly want if you’re seeking primitive.
Surrounded by mountains, miles of hiking and just pure solitude.

The campsite was awesome super remote and off the beaten path, the road the campsite was on has some really good views and goes for miles, definitely worth the time to drive it! Super good camp experience

Great place to stay.
What an amazing slice of America they have here! Site is well secluded and private. Great for seeing the starts at night or in my case the blood moon. Bradley was very informational on the jeep trails in the park and around the area as well. Which was a big help knowing what trails I wanted to hit. Best thing I think however was around 730pm the sun dips behind the mountain near the campsite covering the whole site in shade. Nice for keeping you out of the sun after a long day of hiking the park.

Great base camp to explore Big Bend
My wife and I stayed at both sites over a period of 4 days (#1 first night & #2 second thru fourth nights). Great spots with mountain views in all directions! Peaceful and quiet. Hosts are terrific, friendly, and very responsive. Compost toilet is kept clean and in nice private area. Lots of wildlife. Can do some hiking up the road and near-by as well. If you’re visiting BBNP, these spots offer road access points to both the east (385) and west (118) entrance. Convenient to access to Study Butte town and also Terlingua Ranch lodge. We did a lot of backcountry exploring and off road trails so this site was great to head off in either direction depending on where we were heading each day. Highly recommend!!

Awesome spot to camp
I feel like I’m in on some secret spot every time I camp here- it’s secluded, the views are amazing, hosts are super friendly. It’s relatively close to the west entrance to big bend. It’s windy so tents are a bit iffy- but the sun shade provided the perfect spot for a hammock. 10/10
Did I mention the night sky? Bring a telescope. 🙂👌

This spot was perfect. The drive to Big Bend Park was not too bad. Please be sure to allow yourself some “stay at the property and do nothing” time. The sunrises, the stars, the wildlife - all wonderful.
Brad and his wife were such gracious hosts; I felt very welcome and safe (a plus for me, traveling solo).
