The Baithouse was so adorable, perfect for me and my husband. The camp hosts were amazing, especially due to all the major flooding happening around us, kept us updated to current conditions, etc We had an amazing experience even though we didn’t get to explore much due to the weather. Will definitely be back!

Tiny House Getaway

I LOVED the Bait House! It was just the right size for a getaway with myself and my dog. I think 2 adults max would be comfortable here. It had everything I needed and more. The outdoor shower was a delightful experience. The only downside for me was they have chickens and roosters on the property and I was awoken by the cock-a-doodle-do before dawn every morning. The house was is located near a few parks so we were able to enjoy hiking within 10 minutes from the property. Downtown Marble Falls is also about 10 min away if you want local dining experiences, which I did grab takeout from 2 different restaurants while I was there. Overall it was a nice little getaway and great location!

Orrasis "Me Time" tent, Meander

The Orrasis was a lovely escape. All natural, peaceful, comfortable. Very eclectic with lots of personality. The butterflies and cardinals were prolific.

Eclipse camping site 1

Kent and his family were such thoughtful and kind hosts! My friend and I camped on their property for the 2024 eclipse, and we had a wonderful experience. :) Not only was the property full of natural beauty, but there were so many creative touches and helpful amenities including a composting toilet and shower. I would definitely come stay again! Thank you for the great stay and for helping make our eclipse experience a memorable one!

I wish i had my own Meander Orrasis

Meander is a lovely site perched so you can look over the landscape below, and the trees are at eye level for early morning bird watching. Great tent windows allow starwatching from the air mattress. The composting toilet is a very nice facility with light and space and decoration, with a sink and mirror outside. The shower is an adjoined structure. Wildflowers abound in April. Orrasis has whimsy and beauty and the hosts are thoughtful and fun.

Eclipse camping site 3

Kent was a great host! Clear and prompt communication as well as extremely welcoming. The campsite was beautiful. It was great having a toilet and shower on the property. We experienced the solar eclipse here and it was an amazing unforgettable moment for all of us.

We called Kent to tell him we were close and he welcomed us and showed us around the property. The campground was lovely. The bath house was clean and sufficient. Everyone was friendly. The grounds were clean and lively. Couldn’t have asked for more.

The site was awesome except for the roosters crowing at 1:00 am both nights we were there. Truly the site was great, the shower and bathroom were wonderful and the cart to get our stuff to the site was clutch. The roosters crowing was loud enough to disturb my sleep which I usually sleep through anything so the noise from the crowing would be my only critique.

Great place for my daughters first night out camping. Ken was very accommodating and the location perfect for us to pitch a tent under the stars. The rain harvesting system Ken showed us was remarkable. We will come back again.

Sumac Sunrise

Great setup. Kent was very responsive and met me at the gate as promised. Showed me the spot and gave me some options. Camp has very clean, large compost toilet rooms with plenty of privacy. I will definitely stay again on my next Hill Country run. Note: There is a rooster that does what roosters do in the very early morning. I'm an early riser so fine with me.

Kent and his family were super accommodating after our camping reservation was canceled 2 hours before check in. My best friend and I are 2 single moms. We felt safe and the kids loved exploring the property. They played all day without electronics. This property is beautiful with lots of wild flowers. There is also a nice lake 2 mins down the road. With beautiful views. I would recommend bringing lots of bug spray and citronella torches when camping. Mosquitoes are brutal! We wilk definitely be back.

We loved staying here! It's peaceful, accessible, and calm. There's a really nice path near the campsites to wander on, and a seating area with a view of the hills. It's not far from Austin but the stars are really bright. Would definitely recommend for a getaway from the city.

We had a great 3 day stay in the RV rental.it really did have everything you would possibly need and the wood for fire add on purchase was perfect. All you need is clothes and food and you are set. There was more than enough room for our family of 5 .it was clean. Peaceful. All other renters were so friendly and our hosts were incredibly helpful for us being first time rvers not knowing how to work anything lol and just very kind and welcoming in general.we already can't wait to return for the summer 🌞

This is a really cute place that was close to a couple of state parks and several other areas to hike. It is pretty basic and the individual sites do not have electricity or water, but it was really no big deal, they do have a bath house very nearby with a warm shower and sink to wash up. it was really cute and comfortable. The owners were very communicative and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend.

My daughter and I had a really lovely time at Orrasis Ranch. Kent and Nancy were warm and welcoming, and the three tent campsites are all beautiful and unique. Since we were the only tent campers for the weekend, we got our pick of the Wander, Ponder, and Linger sites. We settled for Ponder in the middle of the 3. The daughter of our hosts was happy to show my daughter around the property and introduce her to the playground, which has a sandbox and fast slides. The neighboring roosters mentioned in earlier reviews have since been removed, so we had no trouble getting to sleep. We look forward to coming back!

Angel's Landing Bunkhouse

We had originally planned to tent camp in the area, but weeks of 100+ days sent us scrambling for AC. The Bait House offered everything we needed for a comfortable weekend getaway. The property is a secret garden to be discovered through exploration. So many beautiful plants and places to sit and watch the pollinators! The sky is dark and we spent both nights laying in the yard, spotting meteors and satellites. The house was well-provisioned with towels, pillows, and K-cups. There were supplies for cooking, and access to a grill. No hot plate, but the microwave and fridge were perfect for our needs. We LOVED the outdoor shower. The full-sized bed was very cozy and perfect for two, but there are other rentals on this property if you need more sleeping space. Nearby Shaffer Bend rec area was incredibly beautiful. Tons of beach for swimming and trails for hiking. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Sumac Sunrise

Sumac sunrise was a comfortable overnight camp spot for our party of 2 (plus dog). The pull-in spot was well suited for our truck bed tent set up. We appreciated the warm shower and toilet facilities, as well as some paths to walk the dog around. The only unpleasant aspect was the constant noise from a large nearby rooster farm (continuous crowing from about 5am-11pm). We recommend ear plugs for early sleepers / late morning risers.

Camping with a touch of comfort

Very quaint bunkhouse, slept all of us very comfortably, we took our 3 grandsons with us. The boys loved having the playground right outside the door, and they also loved the cats and even renamed them. The bathhouse wasn't too bad, a bit rustic but the sawdust helps things smell better. Having a shower with hot water was very nice, and being closely located to Marble Falls and all the attractions there meant that we didn't have to do a ton of driving. The only drawback was that Texas had a burn ban in effect so we were unable to have a campfire, but there is a great place for one and with plenty of firewood so we would not have to buy or bring our own. The other nice thing was having a microwave and small fridge, but the boys really liked the small TV/VCR combo and a nice family friendly/kid friendly VHS movie selection, the only thing the boys didn't understand was the fact that the movies had to be rewound, they never heard of such a thing, I guess we are old.

My family of 5 loved the rustic quaint cabin. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the ac was great. The property and the natural landscaping were really beautiful. The number of butterflies was extremely enjoyable. The playground had everything our 5-year-old could ask for, including kids to play with. The hosts were fantastic, super communicative on the days leading up as well as during our stay. 5 stars

Lovely spot.
