Very cute, updated, retro Airstream with all the creature comforts of home, and then some! Lovely hot tub and outdoor shower among a beautiful landscaped yard. Nice get away!

We had the best time. Two adults (one over six feet tall) fit in here just fine. The bed was very comfortable, with lots of pillow preference options. The outdoor shower was stellar, with really nice shampoo and body wash products. The hot tub was awesome. Snacks and caffeinated beverages and water provided. All in all, a top stay.

Despite this fantastic little camper being in a backyard, I got all the peace and solitude I wanted. It's ridiculously close to some amazing restaurants, bars and a cute little park.
I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. The outdoor shower was HEAVEN. I absolutely enjoyed my time here.
*I'd like to note that the bed is not a twin. It looked like it in the pics but it's large and fantastic

We loved staying in the cozy cactus airstream! Adrienne has gone out of their way to update the airstream to fit modern comfort. The outdoor shower was our favorite amenity, nothing beats showing with the sun shining on you! The hot tub was an added bonus :)

Adrienne's camper is the epitome of vintage charm married to modern amenities! My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 nights for Austin city limits in 2024. We are no stranger to a whole host of air bnbs and campers and we both felt as though Adrienne's was truly special.
Things we loved:
The fridge and freezer were clean and stoked with fresh ice on our arrival with the AC was blasting to ward off the 95 degree heat. She even left out delicious cookies in a little bag for us! The bed is dense memory foam and very supportive with a variety of pillow types for every preference.
The yard is gorgeous as well with green plants and flowers popping up while fairy lights keep the whole place feeling like a spa garden in the making.
Our highlight was definitely the outdoor shower that Adrienne stocked with luxury body wash, shampoo, conditioner AND body oil. The shower is all wooden with plants flowing from every corner and LED candles to create the most romantic ambiance.
Some notes:
An airstream is still an airstream and texas heat is still texas heat. We kept the AC blowing cold and it did its job, but around day two we noticed it was feeling a bit stuffy. We ended up opening up some windows for air flow with solved the problem instantly and kept us much cooler, however this was not explicitly mentioned in booking instructions.
Other than that I could not have asked for a better stay! Thank you so much Adrienne!

Such a lovely spot to stay in Austin!! The airstream is super cute, extremely well thought out, and very comfortable too!! Adrienne also gave us some awesome recommendations for things to do in the area as well as places to eat. Also, the outdoor shower is amazing! We had a fantastic time here and I would recommend to anyone visiting Austin!

I loved how the airstream felt secluded even though it was in a backyard the garden was beautiful and the airstream itself felt very comfortable to stay in. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay and will consider staying here again the next time I'm in Austin!

Highly recommend a stay here- I was traveling solo (I am a woman) and felt totally safe and cozy in Adrienne's airstream. She also made sure the lights and AC were on for me which was very appreciated. It was easy to find and on a quiet, short street with ample street parking. Once inside it was the perfect place to crash for the night and felt like being at camp. The backyard is gorgeous and feels tropical and lush and the highlight of the whole experience was the wonderful outdoor shower which was sooo hot and perfect. Adrienne supplied a robe, towels, and bath products to make it even better.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay again in Adrienne's Airstream! She was a communicative host and the location is close to everything, but in a quiet suburban neighborhood. After camping in Big Bend for two days, the outdoor shower was amazing. (BTW, the shampoo/conditioner from Bathing Culture smelled delicious. I was obsessed.) The Airstream is great if you're a solo or couple looking for a place to crash after a day of exploring Austin. It would be possible to cook or hang out in the Airstream, but hitting up the food trucks and restaurants in the area is a much better idea. I ate at Cuantos Tacos (get one of each!), Lenny's (had the Deli Breakfast, which was a nice quick breakfast), and Ceviche7 (had the beef stir fry sandwich, which was worth the wait!).

I enjoyed the backyard camping experience at the Cozy Cactus. The space was clean, definitely cozy, and Adrienne was an attentive and responsive host. This felt like a glamping experience to me!

The entire vibe of this place is amazing and Adrienne was an outstanding host. We came in town for a show and were only 13 minutes from the venue downtown! Such a perfect location! The airstream is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Cooking utensils, fridge, amazing hard working AC, towels, coffee maker, etc. And the best part, THE OUTDOOR SHOWER with plenty of hot water! There are even robes provided so no need to undress outside and possibly get your clothes wet. I absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be back!
