Joy's Chalet - Hot tub and Nature

First off, great host, super responsive. The cottage is beautiful, nice and cozy, but not cramped. Lots of sleeping and eating space inside and out on the big deck. Nice firepit and hottub were great. We brought a badminton net and there was enough open space beside the cottage to set it up. Kids liked playing in the forest also. The cottage is on a quiet and shallow bay, separate from, but accessible by canoe to the big lake. From the cottage, it's a bit of a climb down to the water and there's a small dirt road to cross (a dead-end street with a couple other cottages further down so very quiet). It's weedy off the dock if that bothers you - it didn't bother us and swimming was fine out about 10 m. The bonus is lots of pike and bass. Overall we had a great time here and would go back again.

Lovely cabin! Perfect getaway from the city for a couple days! The hot tub and fire pit area were a great treat!

Joy's Chalet - Hot tub and Nature

We had a great time at Joy's Chalet. It's a beautiful and cozy cottage with all the comforts of a home. There's one bedroom on the main floor with another bed upstairs on a mezzanine level with another toilet and a dining table. The upstairs bed is huge and comfortably fit 2 adults and 2 kids. The toddler loved hanging out on the hammock, going in a canoe and playing with the games provided. The hot tub is a great addition and very enjoyable in the evening. The lake is just a bit down from the cottage, so there are quite a few stairs and a bit of a walk to the dock where the canoe is. It is a very peaceful and quite lake. Would recommend a stay here and the host Harsh is very responsive!
