A preserved land of 20 acres awaits you in a beautiful forest where a creek flows all year round. Watch the milky way in the first international deep sky reserve where we are situated. On site and nearby nature activities available on lake Megantic a few steps away and great hiking trails at Mont-Mégantic national park and mount Gosford. All guests have access to 2km of trails, hammocks and sitting places to contemplate nature, a common area with an outdoor fireplace. We offer to all our guests the audio immersive "Encounter with forest-spirit" experience (30 to 40min duration about nature and ancestral aboriginal wisdom with drumming and flute playing performance). We also hosts activities like stargazing nights, aboriginal medicinal plants hike with storytelling, infrared sauna in our 4 season passive solar greenhouse and much more. 🏕️ Peaceful night by the creek

Wolf riverside campsite
I set up my tent right next to the creek, and it was pure magic. The gentle sound of the flowing water was incredibly soothing — like nature’s lullaby through the night. The spot is basic and completely wild, but that’s exactly what makes it special. No crowds — just peace. 🌿 The ground is flat enough for a tent, with space for one or two campers. It’s only accessible by foot, which makes it feel truly remote. In the morning, I woke up to birdsong and soft sunlight filtering through the trees — such a calm and grounding way to start the day. 🌳 There are a few lovely little trails nearby, perfect for a peaceful walk through the woods. One of the highlights was the cozy riverside area with chairs and a hammock — such a perfect place to relax, read, or simply listen to the water. 🌟 A big thank-you to Paule and Benoît, who were incredibly kind and welcoming. Their generosity and good energy added a really special touch to the experience. A little hidden gem for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy the raw beauty of nature. 💚 I’ll definitely be coming back.

Bear riverside Hammock-tent
I have too many nice things to say about this beautiful campground. Paula and Benoit were amazing and accommodating even before I arrived. It is clear they value the comfort of all their guests, and everything is well laid out and explained in the lovely little welcome pack I recieved on arrival, with a map of the grounds and a lock for the wooden cache on site. I was especially grateful for the courtesy lantern I was able to borrow for my stay (take it! I brought two flashlights, a lantern and a headlamp and still found a lot of uses for it!) My stay in the hammock tent was amazingly comfortable. The tent is clean and well maintained. Despite heavy rains for most of my stay, I stayed cozy and dry. And a small river by the campsite made for a really nice soundtrack to fall asleep to. The hammock tent runs cooler than most tents due to being suspended. Nights hit 11 degrees and I noticed even with my inflatable matte and camp blanket, i needed to layer up to stay warm. Insulation is an absolute must. Highlight of the trip was the giant polyphemus moth that joined the other moths in trying to get at my lights through the mesh of the tent. It was huge and beautiful! It was a great trip, with kind hosts and a quiet, peaceful place to stay. I will absolutely book again.

What a great experience! Paula and Benoit were great hosts for a beautiful spot! We enjoyed the solar powered sauna and the rainwater shower while camping! What a treat. I would strongly recommend this site to campers who want to be immersed in some beautiful nature and experience a wholistic and sustainable lifestyle that Paula and Benoit live!

Taste forest yurt
Paula and Benoit were the perfect hosts! Their connection to the land seeps through everything that they do there. We came up for the eclipse and we could have not been in a better place for it! Paula and Benoit facilitated the perfect eclipse experience, setting the tone with traditional indigenous song and poetry. Benoits magnificent knowledge of the stars and planets shined during his presentation, and we felt perfectly primed for the experience as the moon drew closer to the sun. The yurts were the perfect balance between living with nature and having the modern comforts we expect. I would absolutely return for a weekend getaway or a vacation to unplug from the world and plug back in to nature. Thank you Paula and Benoit for an amazing experience!
