The yurt was great for a weekend away in the woods. We loved the hot tub and fire pit set up. It is off grid but still has the basic necessities to make it a more comfortable experience (hot shower, sink to wash dishes, toilet, grill, cooking supplies). Mornings are especially idyllic being in nature and sipping coffee near the fire pit.

This was a great hip camp! The yurt was cozy, and the hosts were sure to include many things in the yurt which help to avoid over-packing our camping items. We loved the hot tub and were surprised how hot the shower water was able to get. We enjoyed our restful stay and would be back!

This place is the perfect place to escape the reality of life. We did a no cell phone trip, took in the nature around us and enjoyed each other's company. The host is amazing, the hot tub was perfect and the overall property was great to explore. We plan to book again next year!

Rented the Yurt for 3 days for my fiancés birthday and she loved it. We had such a memorable time there, we got to see nature in its natural state. We woke up each and every morning to the birds singing. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit , the hammocks, especially the yurt. I would recommend anyone to try this experience. Ed thank you so much for everything. Can’t wait to do this again.

My husband and I had a wonderful time celebrating my 51st birthday at Eddie & Liam's yurt! The path up was uphill, but very clearly marked and well maintained, and they took our gear up for us.
After the short climb, we had our own private oasis. The hot tub was glorious and the yurt was spacious and clean. Comfy bed and linens. Everything was as advertised and more.
I fell asleep in my camp chair for a few minutes while watching the sun rise Saturday morning, and when I opened my eyes there were little birds at my feet and three does grazing 15 yards away. You just can't get that at a campground. And did I mention the hot tub?

The yurt with hot tub was AMAZING!! My girlfriend and I booked it for her 27th bday and it was exactly the kind of peace and quiet we were looking for. When we got to the end of the trail there was a beautiful large doe waiting to greet us (she ran away immediately). We were able to get the fire going and the furnace for the hot tub fairly quickly and the hot tub stayed hot for a loonngg time however, it took a while to heat up and we ended up using a lot of our wood, but that was also because the top wasn’t pushed back all the way to keep the heat in and it went pretty quickly once that gap was sealed off. There was also plenty of fallen timber around to use for extra firewood (would suggest bringing blade to cut timber). The next day, we started the hot tub furnace around noon before the rain started and it stayed hot even after we couldn’t get the fire re-lit from the rain and it was super relaxing to sit in the hot cedar water while the rain from steady to storming! This was just the perfect getaway from start to finish. We just adored everything Liam & Eddie’s property had to offer and the design of the yurt and hot tub platform was executed perfectly. Such a welcoming family with wonderful history of the land for many generations. Helped us get set up and answered any Qs we had including suggestions for places to go nearby. The hipcamping space is gorgeous and cozy. Every detail from the solar twinkle lights, to the kitchen accessories for cooking, the inviting decor inside the yurt… and a hot outdoor shower to rinse off the Susquehanna River you will inevitably splash around in after a day of hiking and exploring because you are located near tons of great places to take in all the bountiful nature PA has to offer. It really is a dreamy little slice of forest paradise. We had the best time, especially our 4 year old. We tent camp often and it was nice to not have to spend so much time packing in and out while wrangling the wildling. His favorite part were the hammocks and the chickens! We definitely plan to return. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

We had a wonderful time at Ed & Liam's place. It was peaceful, quiet, and we felt like we had everything we needed at the camp. Having no internet was a plus because it helped us disconnect and be present in the moment. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a place to spend your vacation!

We traveled a bit further than usual for this weekend trip and it was super worth it as this site is in our list of top 3 Hipcamp spots! It has everything we typically look for and appreciate including rad and generous hosts who provide great details and instructions and are as available as you need them to be. All the information they provide is helpful and accurate, so it's not necessary to address here- it's off grid, but every amenity for comfort is included.
The hot tub, of course, is the special feature and it was so easy use. We typically venture off site to hike or whatever, but this site is just so perfect we really just stayed close. We would absolutely consider staying here again, and for a longer period of time- if it were ever available again! Definitely a hot spot.

This was a great place to get back in touch with nature. The hot tub was a highlight of the stay, and working for it made it that much more sweet. Thanks Eddie and Liam for making such a wonderful getaway. Highly recommend to anyone seeking to escape the city life for a few days.

The Yurt was unbelievable! Eddie and Liam were incredible hosts; every detail of this secluded property was well thought out. It really gave us a sense of peace and tranquillity much needed during this cray year. We will definitely recommend this property to our friends and family.

What a wonderful haven to escape to. The yurt was perfect. The bed was super comfortable and because there were two screen windows we had a wonderful breeze. We enjoyed every night by the fire. The hot tub was also a great treat. Along with the hot outdoor shower. It was camping but with all the amenities of home plus more!!

My partner and I spent our whole trip saying “yurt” to each other with glee. It was a delight. So beautiful and secluded. William and Eddy were helpful, but really just let us do our thing. Sitting and soaking in that hot tub while listening to the sounds of the forest is a real treat.

Staying in this yurt was truly amazing. All the stunning pictures are accurate! The forest was beautiful, the yurt was clean, and the hot tub was *chefs kiss* ! Thank you so much Eddie & Liam for such a lovely stay!

Driving in we spotted a deer and fawn playing the stream which was a pretty magical entrance I must say. Eddie met us and we had a fun rocky ATV ride up the through the trees to the yurt.
Aside from being beautifully kitted out with everything practical you might need, William and Eddie have really put so much love into this place. There are so many special touches like games, candles, string lights, solar chargers and cute pillows on the bed. A cool composting toilet and heated outdoor shower add to the comfort.
But by far, the cedar wood-fired hot tub was my favorite feature. We sat here in here with a glass of wine, listening to the loud chorus of birdsong and wind rustling in the trees.
This is the kind of place which is luxurious but in a rustic way. Perfect place to read, draw, chill, grill, sleep.
You really don't get much more secluded and peaceful than this - we'll be coming back for sure!

The feeling of being one on one with nature and enjoying the sound of the woods is what Secluded Woodlands offers. It's a primitive campground so it allowed me to feel as if I was alone in the woods but with the ease of knowing our host were just a few feet away available for anything that we needed. The campground was surrounded by vivid green plants including many ferns that stood out among the woods. That night we had a full moon that lit the woods and as we put up a bonfire we were able to sit and relax around it. Surrounded by all the night harmony sounds of the woods we were able to sleep satisfied with the experience we had been looking for.
