Situated in a meadow, our charming and spacious Bell tent (like a yurt - 6m in diameter), is ready for your relaxing time away. Outfitted with a comfy queen bed and a fold-down double futon, this accommodation offers comfort and a unique experience. We include fresh sheets, duvet, pillow and throw blankets. Spend time in the outdoors enjoying our 25 acre property or local attractions. Sit by the fire in the evenings and gaze at the stars.  We provide an initial bag of firewood as a thank you for booking. More firewood available onsite for purchase. ($10 for a large bag). NOTE: As an off grid experience there is NO hydro, heat or plumbing to your site. Solar outdoor lighting provides a beautiful atmosphere and can be switched off for sleeping. There is a neat and tidy traditional outhouse roughly 60 second walk from your accommodation. The property is located on the outskirts of Orillia and bordering Severn. We are 5 minutes from Bass Lake, 10 minutes from grocery stores and restaurants and 13-15 minutes to downtown Orillia, the waterfront and marinas. Amazing Host, Horses and Stargazing

We had an amazing time here. Wendi is super friendly and thoughtful, she checked what we needed and reminded us about the cold. The horse experience was the best part. Grooming them felt so calming and the horses are beautiful and very friendly. The firewood amount is really generous and lasts a long time. The campsite is spacious with lots of privacy. At night it was perfect for stargazing, I saw so many stars and even a few shooting stars. The toilet is very clean and everything here feels well cared for. I also admire how much Wendi and her family have built in just a few years, they are really living my dream life. Overall this was way better than camping in a provincial park. Highly recommend and I will definitely come back.

Peaceful Fall Retreat

We, three moms looking for a little escape, couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot for our fall weekend. From the moment we arrived, everything about this place felt quietly magical. The setting is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, natural, restorative. The rustle of autumn leaves, crisp fresh air, and unspoiled surroundings made it easy to slow down and breathe. It’s rare to find somewhere so serene, where you can truly unwind. The host was thoughtful and attentive in all the right ways. The tent was comfortable and well-prepared; everything was clean, cared for, and exactly what we needed. The out houses were immaculate—so well kept that they felt more like a pleasant surprise than an afterthought. We left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and inspired. Thank you for the kindness, the care, and the chance to rest in such a lovely place. We very much hope to return!

Tent camping at Three Ponds was such a lovely experience! The directions to our site were clear and easy to follow, and it was a real treat to have a camp fire and sleep outdoors following our trip to the Rama Pow Wow. The property is gorgeous, and has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. We opted to meet the horses the next morning, and it was so worth it! They were all such sweet and lovely creatures, and Wendi made it such a calm and informative experience! Checking out the peaceful koi pond afterwards was also lovely; would absolutely recommend to friends/ return again!

I highly recommend Wendi and her place. It was our first time camping with our two-year-old daughter, and everything was great. The place was clean and organized, and Wendi was extremely kind and attentive. We'll be back soon.

Wonderful camping experience! Beautiful homestead to walk around and plenty of space between campers and other renters. Getting to see the horses added to the peaceful atmosphere. Outhouses were clean and comfortable. Wendi was friendly and accommodating, and very helpful. Highly recommend!

Second time going here, and had a blast like the first time. The property is large and well maintained, and it was nice to see how things have changed since the first trip. The safari sites looked very nice and might be something I try out in the near future.

Cozy Off-Grid Bunkie - Horse Farm
Very well kept grounds. Peaceful setting. The outhouse was very nicely kept. And the firewood supplied was perfectly dry. I enjoyed observing the horses too. Plenty of room to book w friends & family next time.

A perfect nature getaway!

My stay at 3 Ponds was exactly what I needed. I stayed in the Bell Tent and it was exactly as described; very clean, inviting and peaceful. Wendi lays out perfect instructions for you to pack and plan accordingly as well as how to find your spot with ease. Communication with Wendi was effortless and supportive. I will absolutely be back.

We stumbled upon this rustic glamping site by chance last year, and it was such a wonderful find that we couldn’t wait to return. This year, we came back with friends for a longer stay, and it was even better than we remembered. The setting is absolutely beautiful – peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for truly unwinding. Wendi is lovely, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the experience feel even more special. One of the highlights for us were the amazing horses they’re gentle, majestic, and added something magical to our stay. We can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a unique, relaxing escape. We’ll definitely be back again!

Lovely spot with different types of camp sites for basic to glamping. Wendi was easy to communicate with, provided clear directions, and the firewood she provides is nice. Plus it was DRY! Especially with it being a rainy night, she thoughtfully placed it under a tree. We will definitely come back here again when we come to this area and spend more time here next time!

Safari Tent on Horse Farm
Wendi was a great host! Super friendly and kind. We also enjoyed staying in the Safari tent which was very clean and spacious for 4 people. I would come back again 😊

Loved the experience, beautifully maintained and well kept huge estate. Lovely trails and got to see the horses and cutest foal ever. Wendy was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend it.

Baby horse! Turkeys! Talltall trees! Picturesque ponds! The fanciest outhouse I have ever seen in my life! A host with infinite patience re: my inability to stop messaging her! 11/10 would camp again (maybe next time without the rain; I wanted to explore the paths but my inappropriate footwear voted that plan down.)

This was a beautiful property to stay on. The outhouse was very well maintained and clean, and the directions to get to the sight were clear and very easy to follow. Wendi was also very quick in responding, we had a lovely stay!

Staying at Wendi's was a wonderful experience! The spot was clean, tidy, and organized when we arrived. Wendi was very accommodating of our special needs kids and always helpful without ever being intrusive. The space is beautiful. We loved visiting Bass lake, which is very close by. Would highly recommend!

Grounds are private, well maintained and quiet. Lots of small trails to walk around. Washroom facility was super clean. I will definitely recommend it and will probably be back again . Wendi came over to make sure all was OK as well which was an added bonus.
