Pets are welcome.  You’ll have access to a portable toilet, and campfires are allowed. My hosts upgraded my pitch due to unforseen issues prior to arrival and I can heartily recommend a bell tent. There's so many little extras that, for anyone mes used to camping, will make this a joyous place to stay. Would I come back? You betcha. Great communication, beautiful situation and as much peace and quiet as you want

A very nice tent
Site 2 bell tent glamping seaside.
The site was lovely, right next to the sea with a beautiful view. The tent has everything you need, to cook, a bbq outside and heat plate inside, the gaz is included and there's solar powered lamp in the tent above on the table to cook inside. We just used our own French press to make coffee in the morning but that's about it ! The bed is lovely, there is an extra mattress for a third person. The site very quiet and we slept like babies. We had a very good night !

I loved my time at the bell tent. The view from the bed facing the screen door is beautiful and listening to the sound of the waves on the shore lulls you to sleep. There are enough amenities to be comfortable but it is rustic enough that you still have the simplicity of camping. A perfect combination for someone my age. The host is friendly and very accommodating. Many lovely beaches and sites to see within close driving distance. I would love to go back sometime!

Site 2 bell tent glamping seaside.
If you want a totally awesome camping experience on your road trip around Nova Scotia then you need to stop here for the night. The bell tent is tucked away in the forest and has everything you need to have a great night. There’s a little stove to cook dinner on, a nice fire pit (when there is no fire ban on), and a beautiful view of the ocean, it’s a very windy area but adds to the seaside camping experience. Totally affordable and punches way above its price, very friendly owner who directed us to the camp upon arrival. It would be a mistake to miss this place on your way through.

One of the nicest spots I’ve been to in a long time. Great location, cozy lights, and a beautiful sunset — such a peaceful place. We were able to walk over to a lobster marina, which was really cool. Definitely recommend it.

Site 2 is next to the local public boat launch which allowed for easy access to walk along the rocky and sandy shore. This site is easily accessible with a large circular tent. This site is available to have fully stocked for necessary amenities (kitchen) which we took full advantage of a s buying and lugging around all that camping gear can be pricy and tiresome. Other than exploring along the water front there is a hammock! That alone is a wonderful feature. The bed is firm and the bedding clean with extra bedding if needed. The site is partially shaded which helps keep the site comfortable. The surrounding areas are quiet and being near the water allowed for a beautiful view

My family and I really liked the location. It's very quiet. Was nice hearing the ocean crashing into the shore. My boys loved the beach to skip rocks. The tent and site is very cozy.

The sunset over the sea and the log fire were really memorable. The site is though work in progress. We were concerned about using the access track in our hired RV. It would have been helpful if Mark could have provided us with clearer information on the location of the water supply. We also thought the price point was high given the level of services - we are finding full service campgrounds are charging about the same. Despite these thoughts we still enjoyed our brief stay

Site 2 bell tent glamping seaside.
Nous avons été tellement charmés par l’endroit. C’est situé dans une zone très tranquille, où l’on n’entend rien sauf les phoques, les oiseaux et le bruit des vagues. La tente est géniale, spacieuse et bien équipée. Mark était toujours joignable pour nous apporter de l’eau potable ou du bois. La douche au gaz, située juste un peu plus loin, était tout simplement incroyable. Plusieurs plages (lacs ou mer) accessibles pas trop loin (10-30 mins). La route qui suit la côte dans toute la région est magnifique. Épiceries, boutiques et restaurants à environ 30 minutes du campement, vers Shelburne ou Barrington. Nous recommandons fortement

Mark was warm and welcoming on our arrival, providing everything we needed. We were very impressed that our firwood bundle included a hatchet! Attention to detail is what we very much appreciated....would highly recommend Mark and his beautiful spot. Thanks Mark...hope to see you again

Very pretty spot right on the water. Quiet. Especially nice when the stings of light went out- we prefer dark skies! Outhouse seems to have had an animal shredding TP- could use attention (we used our on board potty) Mark was very responsive to our last minute reservation! Recommended!

Beautiful spot! Right on the ocean! Loved the outdoor shower! Great near by golf course and a good biking area. Luckily we had beautiful weather and enjoyed every minute of it.

We loved our time on Marks land. We’re in a 31ft c class and had plenty of room with space for multiple rigs. The view of the water and boats were wonderful. Mark was a great host and happy to help with anything we were needing. We even got farm fresh eggs from him. Definitely would stay again if we were ever in the area

We loved camping at Mark’s property. It was a beautiful spot directly on the shore of the bay. Hot outdoor shower and drinkable water were provided. He was a wonderful host.

A lovely place to camp right on the water, with glorious Roseway Beach ten minutes down the road. Some great amenities available at the campsite & Mark was friendly and responsive!

Seaside bus
nice little slice of ocean, and the bus is pretty fun! access to barbecue very pleasant on the deck on a sunny day. barking of seals to keep you company in the day. not sure if the bus paint colors are a tribute to chris mccandless or not, haha. thanks mark; had a great time!
