Land has no flat spot exept down a hill , the grass was wet from rain had problem going back up the hill with my westphalia, friendly owner , nice area to visit

A lovely quiet little spot. Slept so well with the sound of the creek beside the site. Hosts were very helpful.

Very accommodating host, Safe spot!

Tonia was amazing! We had a large bus full of dogs and needed a place to stay and let them out. She was more than accommodating and even let us set up our portable fence. We couldn’t navigate the hill to the grass area due to the size of our vehicle so she kindly let us park on her front lawn and even use our generator all evening. Wonderful host and extremely accommodating! We even drove over the covered bridge in town which was super neat. I’d stay here again. Thanks Tonia and husband and it was so nice to meet your dogs and roosters! 5 stars

I loved camping here. The sound of the stream was soothing and bathing in is was amazingly refreshing. All was friendly and relaxed. There is lots of space. You'll be close to Hartland and Woodstock...

A lovely, private place to camp that makes a great stop on the direct route back from Nova Scotia to Ontario. About 15 minutes off the highway. The ideal tent spot is down by a small (in August) creek. It's flat and shady, and you hear the creek all night, which is lovely. Not a creek you'd swim in FYI -- very shallow. It's very close to the (2-lane) road but there's barely any traffic at night. There's a fire circle and stumps around it, and wood available. The toilet is a toilet seat attached to a lawn chair with a bag attached that you are responsible to remove when you leave. Toilet paper is provided and it's very clean. If you're fine with rustic amenities, you'll love the spot, as I did. The host provides a friendly welcome but leaves you to have privacy too. They brought me fresh eggs and an onion from the garden, and a jar of pickled beets!! There are 3 small friendly dogs who came out with the host in the morning but are very well-behaved. I would definitely stay again!

Sarah's place was very nice! Host was suuuper friendly even offered to grab vegetables from her garden! Little spot to do fires with big logs to sit on. Very nice place would definitely recommend.

The hosts were absolutely gracious! When we arrived we met Rolland, who was very kind, and offered my kids to ride with him on his tractor around the property. The next morning, we were met with 3 adorable dogs, and the kids were given a tour of the property, and shown the chickens, and the hosts even gave us a bushel of carrots. The people here are absolutely wonderful, and I could not recommend this place enough. The spot is gorgeous as well, we put our tent up next to this little quarry, that had a tiny waterfall, it was beautiful.

Can camp anywhere on the lawn, easy access, camp fire and loo are close to a shady, area with a creek — which is also close to the road — quiet most of the night. Best off the grid loo we have encountered.

Property was lovely and we could hear rushing water in our tent. Hosts were super welcoming and hospitable! They gave us some tips for travelling in the area. We had a great experience, would highly recommend!
