We loved staying here with our two dogs in our truck camper pop-up. The wooded site was very private, and we enjoyed being immersed in nature. Great location. Aaron was super responsive to our questions.

Aaron is flexible and super nice. His Hipcamp is exactly what other postive reviews described. The cows are use to campers and seem disappointed they weren't invited. I highly recommend this Hipcamp. Im a solo tent camper with a dog.

Great host. Very responsive. Grass path into a wooded site off a gravel road. Really private. Too hot for a fire, but ring was there. Old outhouse too. Check out Seward too. Great little town. Bottle Rocket Brewing has some delicious beer. highly recommend.

Aaron’s spot is beautiful! There are shady spots for hammocks and lounging. It’s also very private, with plenty of space for our dog to run around. Aaron was very helpful. He made sure we had firewood at the site and that we knew where the water, outhouse, and garbage were. The well water is so cold and refreshing! If you stay here, be prepared for ticks. Bring bug repellant with DEET. There were lots of them in June, especially on the side of the site by the outhouse. Overall, we had a great stay! Thank you.

We returned because we had such a nice time in the past. Plenty of firewood and ticks. If you have the time you can hike for quite a ways and enjoy the beautiful terrain. We were a little worried about recent rains making it tough to get in and out of the campsite, but we had no trouble even in my minivan. Aaron and his family are awesome - be sure to ask about their beef farm store!

Guy was super accommodating, there was a mix up over how many nights I payed for and got a second night free.
Only downside, my dog tried to eat some cockleburs and got the fur of her muzzle all matted up.

I went to where the map showed me to go I couldn't find it I called the number that it gave me and no response drove around some more looking for the farm still no answer back so I continued on my way home they could use some signs or something

It would be a beautiful spot. However, the outhouse was covered in spiders - when I went to lift the lid of the toilet at least 6 or 7 crawled out right away. This is to be expected, but even after that there were still tons inside so I just didn’t use it (which is why I was okay with spending $40 for a spot). There were also a lot of bumblebees on the ground in the mowed area. I know this can’t really be fixed, but for those with dogs just be vigilant- a few found their way into my dog’s water bowl.
The host was very quick to respond both while asking for directions and when I let him know the situation. There wasn’t really much they could have done in the moment in their defense. I was mostly worried about my dog getting stung which is why we left.

The photos and other reviews showed several places available to camp. It also suggested reaching out to the host prior to arrival for directions. Which I did. After driving for almost 6 hours and getting close to arrival I reached out and was directed where “exactly to enter and advised to keep my vehicle on the “mowed area” This lead me down a hill into a dark and fairly moist area with my only option being to park in soft ground and camp in immediate proximity to the wooden outhouse. There were no other entrance gates or other areas open to me as shown in the photos. There was zero cell signal available and with it getting late I had to drive several miles away to contact the host again and state this wasn’t going to work out for my stay. I was greeted back with a “well it worked for other people recently” I ended up driving into the next town renting a hotel and being out my payment for Hip camp and paying for a hotel.

We had a great stay at Aaron’s. Site is quiet and private.
Aaron was a great host. He greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed—water, firewood, etc.
Toilet was very clean.
We highly recommend camping at Aaron’s!

Aaron’s place was wonderful! He was outside and greeted me as soon as I got there. I had my pick of any of the sites to stay on and chose site 1 closest to the outhouse. It was down in a little gulley surrounded by wildflowers and was a beautiful and peaceful spot to sit and watch the sunset through the trees. I was able to explore the pastures and hung out with the cows a bit too which felt great after a 10hr car ride.
Aaron saved the day the next morning and immediately came to my aide when I realized my car battery had died over night. He was very helpful and accommodating!

Highly recommend these hosts and their beautiful farm. I tent camped with my kids and dog and loved the big, (nearly) fully-enclosed space. You'll hear some mooing but that was a plus for us. The map does not do justice to the size of these acreages. I let my kids explore freely and I don't think they even covered a third of the space. Would definitely set up further from the road next time and drive or hike in if we were staying more than a few days and enjoy more of the area. We had no mosquitos,
Excellent host - We arrived after dark and set up our tent in site 1 without realizing the fire ring was down a ways. Aaron brought us a fire pit to use near our tent, which was so convenient. There are so many places to set up, you can easily find a flat spot with shade and privacy. The outhouse worked well and was not gross, even for picky city kids. Our host was also welcoming when there was a big storm rolling in to give us safety information in case of a tornado warning. The other guests helped us out of a rut after the rainstorm, too. Just good people.
Be sure to ask about the farm store for outstanding beef products delivered right to camp! I didn't know they had a farm store until the last day, but I'm glad I found their Facebook page so we could get some souvenirs. You can see for yourself how the cattle are raised naturally with excellent husbandry practices.
Final tip - if you're like my kids and are not familiar with hot wire fences, don't touch! :)

Aaron was a wonderful host! We got in around 8 pm & he was there to meet us. He showed us right where to park our RV. We were allowed to explore & take our dog around the property (not too much since it was dark). He stopped by in the morning to let us know he was leaving. It was quiet & peaceful. I would stay here again!

This camping spot was awesome! Beautiful trees, nearby cows, private. During the day, my fiancé enjoyed walking and exploring the farm, also spent a few hours in Lincoln, just 25 minutes away by car. The host, Aaron, was so friendly and helpful, also a quick responder. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice protected spot among the trees. Bring sturdy ground cloths as the brush stubble is a bit sharp. Lovely walk along the fields to get to the portable water source.
