Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
This is a great option for campers with larger RV's and if you need to hook up to electrical. 120v 30A electrical service and water available on this site. You can turn around easily in the gravel drive. And you'll camp right near our cattle where you're welcome to take picture, scratch their heads, or give them a snack. Tours available too, just ask, we are happy to show you around! This site is well lit and located near our home. We appreciate guests and welcome you to visit with us, we have children and they love to play with other kids. There is plenty of room for pets to roam and do their business. This site is private but as a working farm you may see or hear us doing our daily routine of feeding the cows or moving equipment. We are mindful of your privacy and would never do anything to disturb our guests or ruin their stay unintentionally. You will also have access to the entirety of our 110 acre farm to explore and enjoy nature and animals. We have a firepit and firewood available for you to enjoy a little outdoor relaxation around the fire. If you need anything else not listed we aim to please, just let us know. If you want to purchase beef we stock many items right on the farm. Availability of different cuts of meat and snacks will vary. This was a unique place to camp. We loved being close to the cows and the host was the best at making sure we were comfortable. He took us out to feed the cows taught us about what he does. Very happy with our stay.

This was a memorable stop! Aaron is a great host and the land is amazing. We hope he is able to expand the number of campsites with electric and outhouse. We felt very much at home. We also learned a lot about improvement in grazing lands. We would definitely like to return to see the progress being made.

Wetried repeatedly to reach them by phone and only got voicemail. No one was there when we arrived nor did they appear the whole time we were looking for the electric hookup. We found a 30amp plug in but it was wired for a residential dryer. We left and requested a refund.

The property is beautiful, though cluttered. Aaron and his wife were both friendly. They were respectful with our dogs and theirs too. We appreciated that. We purchased some beef and we are excited to try it. It is a working farm and had the country farm, feel and smell. Beats a RV park any day.

We were in Lincoln for the lincol marathon and discovered aarons farm on hipcamp. After talkin with aaron a couple times we decided to give it a try. It was absolutely the perfect place.He was the nicest hosts. Made sure everthing was to our liking and even offered his basement one night when severe storms rolled threw. loved it and will be back in october for the good life halfsie race.

Great Weekend

Had a great stay with Aaron. We came from Colorado to Lincoln to run the Lincoln Marathon. We are not fans of rv parks because of the crowds and the noise so we chose Mcgill farms and it was the perfect choice. Aaron made sure everything was exactly what we were expecting. The second night we had severe storms and he offered us and the other campers a safe place to come to in his basement. The worst of the storms went around us so we stayed in our rv but we thought that was really a awesome offer. Cant waite to the next time we run in lincoln. We will be at Mcgill farms again.
