The site is extremely well kept, I really enjoyed how spacious is between sites. All other campers kept to themselves, you can hear them having fun is not at all disturbing. The dogs had a blast and the dogs of the host were fine with our dogs, they didn’t mingled with each other but they did come to our site very cautiously to sniff around but not once were a problem. You did hear the traffic from the highway which it dies down as the night drops but it’s alright.

the drive to the campsite was easy to find. When we arrived they was a group of people riding the sanctuary horses before sunset. We thought that's was a great idea for the next time. We stayed at El Dorado camp, which had a single shower, fire pit, picnic table and a propane gas grill. The space is close to the horses and bathrooms.
Our tent was large for two people and the beds were comfortable and clean.
We cooked dinner and breakfast on our own 2 burner propane stove, but we also used the grill for the meat. Bring your own cast iron skillet to cook in the grill, for better results.
Overall the stay was relaxed, we enjoyed the stars, the fire and the weather was perfect. We woke up early as the sun hits the tent and it starts getting warm around 10am. So we enjoy some of the heat with our breakfast and enjoy the nice warm showers outside.
The dogs are extremely friendly and the people taking care of the land make sure you are not bothered.
We definitely planning to stay here in the near future.

Loved the space we had. We didn’t feel cramped or too close to other campers. Marissa’s team was very nice and available. The horses and goats were awesome as well as the dogs. All of these things made the stay so relaxing and pleasurable. Thank you Marissa

Great camping spot! Views were great and only 15 min from Joshua Tree National park. Friendly staff and the animals were such a treat! We will definitely be back!

Everything was well good, we made some mistakes entering the property and Marissa was helpful with directing us. We were little confused with the numbering on the post, was hard to tell what number it was for us but otherwise everything was great. Thank you!

Great stay among the animals. We would recommend this place located in a calm environment with the road gently humming in the background while being close enough to the city. Thank you for your welcome and sharing your passion for such a great project!

During our stay, we could totally see how much effort the hosts put into this sanctuary. We brought carrots to feed the horses and goats. We really enjoyed our stay and for sure will be back. Btw, A site map would be helpful.

The location was great! All the sites were spread out and felt secluded. The view of the stars was amazing. It was great to visit the animals and everyone was very friendly. It was also nice that there are clean porta pottys.
I would definitely go back and recommend for anyone else.

Cute little lights lead you to your site. Nice little fire-pit, and a lot of space between campsites.
The location is convenient being right off of Twentynine palms highway, although can hear the cars on the road because of the proximity.

Peaceful spacious campsite, beautiful night sky views. Marissa was a very accommodating host and she even brought us firewood to our site. The next morning we enjoyed the short walk to visit the friendly horses. My kids loved feeding them carrots. Chris was welcoming and friendly. He’s very knowledgeable about the horses and surrounding area. We will definitely go back when visiting Joshua Tree!

We had a wonderful time at Cascades Trails! We’ll cared-for camping site, welcoming hosts and lovely horses and farm animals! It was such a magical experience and we’ll make sure to return again!

My husband I stayed here one night for a quick getaway. The place is exactly as described and pictured and is decorated SO cute and is SUPER comfy. We had the best nights sleep in the most comfortable bed. The setting is gorgeous and relaxing and Marissa so such a great host- quick to respond. Definitely bundle up- it’s very cold at night (we came in November) but there were plenty of blankets available. Also definitely go visit the horse sanctuary - i didn’t realize we could have booked horseback riding with Marissa do definitely ask her about that! We used the bbq and it worked great. Also it’s located right by downtown restaurants so a great location. Loved it!

I had a nice night camping under the stars. The sites were easy to find and spread out nicely. There was a nice fire pit to use. A beautiful sunrise met us in the merging, along with a few friendly dogs. I would stay here again.
