Bordering the pristine Tllaal river on Haida Gwaii, this 4-acres of forested property lies in the small community of Tllaal, on the east side of Graham Island, central to Haida Gwaii's communities. The property edge is steps away from the tidal zone of the river, which has coho salmon splashing about from mid-August to mid-October. We have two paddle boards available as an add-on. It is a beautiful experience to time a paddle with the tide down to the mouth of the river, have lunch at the Pesuta shipwreck, then paddle back up with the rising tide. The other end of the property has a trail to East Beach, where other humans are a rare sighting. The property has one 14x20 canvas wall-tent; with a cozy queen size bed, couch, wood stove, and kitchenette on the deck. There are several tent sites on the property. Amenities include an outhouse, hot outdoor shower and outdoor kitchen.

This site is a large clearing nestled in the forest; amongst the pine trees. It is very private with lots of room; 1 to 4 tents. It's a great spot for a camper van or RV. There are timber benches along its edges. It is equipped with a Solo stove, a folding table and cozy camping chairs. This is a great spot for 4 or more guests. You have access to an outhouse, hot running water outdoor kitchen, and a glorious Onsen propane powered hot shower that no one likes to get out of once they are in. Power outlets are available for charging in the outdoor kitchen.

Tllaalside Glamp Tent is a 14x20 canvas wall tent nestled in a private section of the property. It has a newer comfortable queen size bed and Fairmont hotel pillows! We've equipped it with everything we wish for our own comfort. It has a wide long comfortable couch and a wood stove. There is a coffee station kitchenette on the porch. Other amenities; wifi, outhouse, access to a hot running water outdoor kitchen and a glorious outdoor shower, home-built adirondack chairs and a fire pit. The site accommodates a trailer or vehicles and pitching tents nearby. We have hosted a family of 8 onsite. The host forest surrounding is a bird sanctuary essentially. It is glorious hearing all the sounds of the forest while you are sleeping or chilling inside the tent.

Camp Moss
Farah has a unique and beautiful property. Communication was good and we were welcomed kindly upon arrival. We enjoyed setting up our tent in the area, surrounded by beautiful trees, the outdoor shower, and ability to cook. It makes the tenting experience more like glamping. She answered all questions in a timely manner and gave us privacy as well as dropped in to see that we had all we needed. We highly recommend this host. She also has a gorgeous large glamping tent on this property!
