Perched above the resort town of Osoyoos, the Anarchist Mountain Experience is a peaceful stay close to many activites. The hillside property is very beautiful and I was lucky enough to fall asleep to owls calling at each other as the sun set. While marred by forest fire smoke during my stay, I can only imagine the views are incredible. Both the tent site and the dome are equipped with picnic tables, a wash station, a bbq, and a good amount of privacy. There's enough space on the property to wander about and stretch one's legs, and tonnes to do in nearby Osoyoos. Kevin is a great host and even upgraded me to the Dome site during my stay -- which turned out to be fantastic as an unexpected downpour struck in the morning. The off-grid dome itself is quite spacious, features a comfortable bed, a desk, a woodstove, and a number of comforts supplied. I would definitely recommend staying here if heading to Osoyoos.

The dome was the most serene place I have been to in a while. Nicely nestled on top of the anarchist mountain. It was raining quite heavy when I arrived but the dome was very comforting and had everything you needed to stay warm and dry. They have a BBQ to cook on, a wash sink, outdoor shower(can be chilly-weather pending) out house all with in a few moments walk. There is all kinds of nature around and just peace and quiet. If you are an outdoors person and know your adventuring basics - this is the place for you. Kevin the host was also very easy to contact and super friendly. If you arent sure about anything - he's there to help and assist any way he can. Thanks again for the amazing stay and look forward to a winter dome adventure :)

Big shoutout to Kevin for being such a fantastic host! It was my first time camping with my partner, and while I was nervous. The location, view, BBQ and comfort of the dome put all my worries to rest.

Such a unique experience! The sunset view is stunning and we had a great time star gazing and watching chipmunks play in the morning. Would definitely recommend, the inside of the dome was also pretty and clean. The dome also cooled down well at night

Beautiful site - close to Osoyoos but also very isolated. The drive up the mountain is beautiful but also easy to access. We slept in a tent on the site and had no issues.

This is a super spot to stay if you like remote camping. The views were amazing but it is very remote! We pulled up to a raise deck and sink, bbq, picnic table and washing station with bear spray! Unfortunately we weren’t brave enough to stay the night as we did encountered a bear!!
If you are a remote camper you will love this place.

The view is immaculate, it’s very private, and the air is refreshing and significantly cooler than in the town of Osoyoos nearby. I really enjoyed chilling in the hammock that is set up for guests, and our host Kevin was very accommodating with any questions we had. Overall a really good site to stay at while checking out the south okanagan.

I had an amazing time at this site! Remote enough to have total privacy & still close enough to town if you need to drive in for some food or supplies! I also had cell reception which was nice! The toilet facility was clean & well upkept. The outdoor shower is a bit further up the road - I drove, but it is also walkable! I was skeptical about an outdoor shower with the mosquitoes, but they left me alone & it was a unique experience! The hot water was very welcomed!
The host was wonderful and was prompt to respond to any questions I had.
I highly recommend this site!

Pretty good view down the mountain with working hot water showers. Bring up the mountain some helped with the heat during the night and was a lot quieter.

Such a lovely little camp spot with a beautiful view of the mountains! It was a very private and secluded spot. The host Kevin was fast at responding and happy to help with any questions we had. We would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The weather unfortunately was pretty wild when I was staying at the site, but from the few moments when the clouds broke, it was quite a view. The site itself had a dedicated wash station, a platform for a tent, along with a hammock and some chairs. I like to think had it not been hailing and thundering, I would have been snoozing in a hammock. The site was quiet. Kevin checked in to make sure I was okay. I'd book this site again.
