A stunning 320 acre off grid Ranch in the beautiful West Kootenay's near the Nelway Border Crossing. Our plan for the land is to be able to provide sanctuary, rest, education and empowerment to like minded individuals. With the stresses of modern day society we feel it is so important to be able to get away for mental health breaks, to reconnect with your inner longings for rest, community, nutrition & a true connection to nature. With no cell phone service, limited wifi, surrounded by nature we feel this is the place where you can go to "free your mind and feed your soul." With Air b n' b and Hipcamp rentals coming summer of 2024 you will be able to immerse yourself deeply in nature. The land boasts a stunning array of wildlife, bird watching, our farm animals, hiking, forest bathing, walking trails, wild flower picking and with being off grid and no lights you will not believe the epic star gazing! Nestled in the forest by the lake your accommodations are comfortable, restful and offer stunning views of the lake and all the animals that come to visit it. This is a true off grid working farm. Wake up to nature and a gorgeous view of Lomond Lake and all of its inhabitants. *Please bring your own bedding.* Swimming in the lake is most enjoyable or rent one of our Canoe’s or a Kayak and go visit the Beaver lodge on the lake! This is nature watching at its finest. Outdoor kitchen available for rent in extras. Try some of our farm fresh eggs and produce also! Hot outdoor cedar shower available in extras also! Sauna coming this fall :)

Unforgettable Escape
Walltent Lakeside With A View!
Our stay at Shauntelle's Farm was truly magical, offering an amazing setup amidst nature that exceeded our expectations. The tent was lovely, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat. The fact that only one tent is rented out meant we had the entire area to ourselves. The tent is right next to a private lake, really a serene spot where we enjoyed swimming and relaxing. The tranquility of having our own lake and being absolutely immersed in nature was unparalleled. Additionally, the nearby waterfalls and river provided fantastic opportunities for more swimming and exploring the natural beauty of the area. The farm is right on the US border, which was quite fun. The outdoor kitchen was great, fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare delicious meals. The campfire area was perfect for evenings, allowing us to unwind and enjoy the peaceful ambiance. Shauntelle and her family were super friendly and welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed and provided excellent recommendations for nearby activities. Their hospitality added a special touch to our stay. Our stay at Shauntelle's Farm Stay was an unforgettable escape. The lovely tent, stunning natural setting, and friendly hosts made for a perfect retreat.
