Nature oasis on 4 private acres just outside Victoria, BC. Stay in our luxuriously cozy yurt, heated by wood stove and furnished with a custom-built, queen-sized wild-foraged wooden bed. The space is simple, warm, and grounding, designed for rest and reconnection with the natural world. Enjoy the outdoor nature shower, the pond, ducks, birds, and the occasional passing deer, all nestled in a sunny valley surrounded by towering trees and forested land. Beautiful beaches are a 10-minute drive away, with forest walks and lakes within 5 minutes - or simply stay in and settle deeply into the land. Your stay includes access to our Nature Spa, located just down the path from the yurt. There you’ll find a wood-fired cedar hot tub, cedar barrel sauna, cold plunge zone, and outdoor lounge space with picnic table and fire pit - creating a full hot/cold/rest cycle experience in nature.This cozy glamping-style yurt is a private nature sanctuary designed for rest and reconnection, and includes exclusive access to our on-site Nature Spa. Just down the path from the yurt, the spa invites you to move between a wood-fired cedar hot tub, cedar barrel sauna, and cold plunge zone set outdoors among the trees. Guests often flow between heat, cold, and rest — soaking, steaming, cooling, and sitting by the fire — as part of a simple, grounding nature-based circuit. The off-grid 170 sq. ft. yurt is designed for comfort, warmth, and simplicity. Inside, you’ll find a queen-sized wild wood bed, futon couch, small tea table, and wood stove for gentle heat. Rechargeable battery lighting, high-quality cozy linens, fresh chemical-free water, and tea & coffee supplies support a restorative stay. There is no grid electricity, and while limited Wi-Fi is available, we encourage minimizing device use to fully immerse in the off-grid, nature-connected experience. Your stay also includes access to the outdoor kitchen area, featuring counter space, picnic tables, propane burners, a charcoal grill/off-set smoker, and fire pit. The site is fully off-grid (there is no fridge or kitchenware provided), so please bring your own cooler and cooking/dining supplies, as you would for a camping-style stay. The yurt sits at the edge of a clearing beside a pond, surrounded by trees and birdsong. Just steps away, the covered lounge space near the Nature Spa offers a picnic table and propane fire pit for resting between rounds. You’ll also find a composting outhouse and an open-air cedar structure with a private outdoor hot/cold shower and handwashing sink — providing simple, functional amenities while keeping the focus on nature and relaxation. Access to the yurt site is via a short trail or gravel drive. Parking is available directly at the yurt for 4x4 vehicles, or approximately 200 ft away for standard vehicles.

Beautiful stay

Loved the entire experience! Kait was super accommodating. We enjoyed the little duckies nearby and the nature spa was so lovely. We can’t wait to come back!

The pictures of this property does not do it justice. It’s is absolutely gorgeous and tranquil. Kaitlyn and Tom have created the most beautiful space. It is clean, quiet and relaxing. The hosts give you privacy and are very hospitable to anything you may need during your stay. We will be back and could not recommend this place more.

Sanctuary Yurt

Very cute yurt—unfortunately not insulated. I’ve done a lot of winter camping, tents and yurts, and this was the coldest I’ve ever been. We were there when the temperature was 30 or so and the small stove and heater were not enough to keep it warm. Lack of insulation also meant traffic noise from nearby busy road, and smoke from wood stove was also an issue. We cut our trip short after one night.

If you are looking to reconnect to nature, slow down, and take a moment to truly nourish yourself, this is where you need to stay! Cozy up by the fire in the yurt, cuddle into bed with a good read, or book into the nature spa for some full body nourishment. You will want to come back!

Lovely Spa Weekend

The yurt and nature spa were absolutely fantastic. My sister and I spent two nights at Kaitlyn’s place. The yurt was so cozy and the mattress was the perfect firmness. The nature spa was so relaxing. We appreciated that we could use the spa throughout our stay and spent the first night in the hot tub stargazing. Kaitlyn recommended a hike for us to do which was lovely - we then came back to the spa all set up for an elemental circuit including a clay mask and seaweed. We felt so good afterwards! Kaitlyn was so kind and welcoming, would stay here again!

Loved this space so much. The sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge are great additions to add relaxation to an already relaxing stay. Any questions we had were promptly answered by our kind hosts. Easy to find, gorgeous nature to enjoy, comfortable inside and out. so grateful!
