Trappers Hill Lodges & Campground, a unique off-grid glamping and camping adventure amidst the breathtaking landscape of the Canadian Rocky Mountains overlooking, the Ghost River, 1.5 hours from Canmore. Nested in the heart of picturesque land, it offers 16 cozy cabins and 6 spacious campsites, each offering a tranquil retreat for families, friend and couples alike. We are located 1 hour from Canmore, 45 minutes from Cochrane.

Escape to the serene beauty of Alberta mountains where Trappers Hill Lodges & Campground offers a collection of 10 rustic off-grid glamping cabins, 6 modern Micro cabins and 7 campsites. Glamping cabins include king bed, rustic Canadian decor, propane heated with a stunning mountain view. Sites include fire-pit with grate, picnic table and seating to enjoy the view. Campground is dog-friendly (on leash) with communal outhouses and camp store for any of your camping necessities. Campers are responsible for bringing sheets, blankets and pillows for the duration of your stay. King beds for Glamping Cabins. We lock the gate at 10pm and open the gate at 8am. If you need to arrange late arrival or early departure, please let us know. We are located 8km's on a bumpy road so drive carefully and we suggest arriving during daylight for visibility as there is limited service on the road. Directions: use ONLY Highway 40 to Township Road 265a. You will be making a left onto Township Road 265a at Bar C Ranch. This is where the gravel road will begin. Do NOT use Richards Road. Kindly note that Trappers Hill Lodges & Campground absolves itself from any liability for damages incurred during transit. Cancellations will not be processed because of the road conditions.

All 6 Micro Cabins offer peaceful forest surroundings. Each heated cabin includes 1 king bed with sheets, pillows, and blankets. An EcoFlow battery station provides lighting, and a propane heater keeps the space cozy. Outside, guests have access to wooden picnic tables and a firepit with a cooking grate. Washrooms, nordic spa and showers are a short walk from each Micro Cabin. Cell service is limited with WiFi access at camp store.
