Creature comforts

Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.

Here's a handy site to go glamping. If you are into fishing or boating, there are suitable lakes within a few miles. Places to quad or hike are also available. At Spruce Hill Recreation Area, there are quiet alcoves for your camper, van, or tent to be set up. An outhouse is available, but bring a flashlight. Pets, and of course, children, are welcome. Leashes for your dogs are recommended. If you bring a non-motorized boat, beautiful Swan Lake is just 12 miles away and is perfect for fishing or paddling. In the mood for a snack? Stop by the nearby Crooked Creek Store and treat yourself to one of its wildly popular donuts.

Beat the heat and grab your tent, camper van, or whatever you vacation with, and enjoy the woods and the nearby lake. If you like quadding or hiking, there's an opportunity for that, too. If you come at the right time, you might be able to snack on saskatoons and/or raspberries at our campsite. Meanwhile, enjoy the fresh country serenity, the quiet beauty, or go non-motor boating at Swan Lake, twelve miles away. Don't forget to pick up some up-to-the-minute (almost) fresh donuts at the Crooked Creek Store if you plan to be on the water for a while. It's right next to Scotty's nifty little cafe. These woods are a welcome addition to our farm, which we will gladly share with you. If you come at the right time, you could enjoy wild roses, saskatoons, or raspberries along the trails. Pick your favorite spot to set up a tent or back in with a camper van. An outhouse is available.

Beat the Heat! Go glamping! Escape to the woods for a unique experience in our converted school bus. Our woods are ideal for walking, pets, and children. For the more adventuresome, head out to cool, scenic Swan Lake (12 miles away) and try your luck at fishing or enjoy drifting on the water. A lake view of the sunset is incredible. You'll maybe even see the sign for Crooked Creek's famous as you head down the highway to our place. Don't forget to stop there. But hurry! We are eager to welcome each new guest and show them how to get to our adorable Skoolie.
