When to go

The prime time to visit Rivers Provincial Park is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is warm and the park is fully accessible. Winters can be harsh, with heavy snowfall limiting access to certain areas, making it less ideal for visits.

Know before you go

  • Check the park's official website for any alerts on closures or safety advisories before your trip.
  • Ensure you have a valid park pass and are aware of the park's operating hours, typically from 8:30am to 5pm.

  • Take advantage of the available ecological reserves and interpretive programs to enhance your visit.
  • Remember to respect the natural habitat and wildlife by following the 'Leave No Trace' principles.
