Vida Bonita Ranch
16 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents1670 acres · NMReconnect with nature at our 1670 acre ranch. The unique terrain has several mesas, meadows, and forests. Enjoy magnificent views. The Mora River flows through our property for 2 miles. We are completely off-grid, so the star gazing is world class. This land is home to lots of elk, deer, bears, mountain lions, turkeys, and mountain goats. Explore the old ruins, canyons, and cliffs. Swim/fish in the river. Visit our farm animals. Bring your bikes, horses, or other off-road vehicles! Horseback riding will be available 2023. You will be free to roam and wander on the entire 1670 acres, including fishing or floating in the river. Your site has a heavy-duty metal fire ring and swivel grate for grilling. A picnic table with umbrella is provided. The ranch is off grid, so it gets very dark at night. Flashlights and other lanterns are strongly encouraged. There is a porta-potty nearby. You will have access to the entire ranch. We also have a few groceries available, such as charcoal, snack foods, drinks, etc. The nearest gas station is 75 minutes away. Please check in before sunset because the roads leading to the property are very dark and isolated. Cell service is intermittent. The county road is also made of loose gravel, so driving your nicest car is not recommended, unless you're ok with possible dents, cracks, or paint chips. One of our primary missions is to keep this land as undisturbed as possible; therefore, we are a TRASH FREE campsite. So whatever trash you bring in, you MUST takeout with you. Otherwise, you will be charged a $50 fee.

Ocate Cliffs
7 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents140 acres · Ocate, NMMy name is Star Ford, and together with a group of other autistic people, I’m building an autistic workplace called Ocate Cliffs. Instead of a model that aims to integrate autistic people into the workplace by forcing us into behaviors that are unnatural for us, we’re building a workplace and community where autistic people can be themselves and use their strengths. We’re building a wilderness retreat in beautiful northern New Mexico that will be financially self-sufficient by offering retreats for groups of 20 to 60 in comfortable, environmentally sustainable lodges. And all of the staff will be autistic. It is currently open for camping, and can be rented out by groups such as churches, other non-profits, and family reunions. We are located near Ocate, New Mexico in the Sangre de Cristo mountains.

Coyote creek farm
7 sites · RVs, Tents20 acres · Guadalupita, NMWelcome- we are a working 20 acre, off grid farm. 2023 Update last summer we had devasting Fires and Floods to our property and area. After passing our gardens and animals, you will be in the woods, surrounded by nature. Complete with 'sounds of the country' with sheep, chickens, turkeys, and our livestock guardian dogs in the distance. Set up your camp in an old growth tree forest. Slowly, you will unwind and relax. A change comes over you, softening and lightening your perceptions of what is important. We cherish our woods and invite you to feel the sway of the trees. We are setting up hikes, walks, and we are rebuilding our Remote Control off road course(Remote Controlled 4x4's ). There is a small fee for the Day- use of the Remote Control course. Message us for specifics. **If you are attending the RC Festivals in August September, please mention it in your message to us. We have a different fee arranged for Festival camping participants. As well as Pancake breakfasts, lunches and grilled dinners in the works. NOTE: The fire 🔥 flashed FAST through our woods. Charring trees and bushes. Which will be here for several years. Because of this, there will be more pastured meadows than before. As well as more flowers and underbrush. With the June and July rains we should have fresh new grass, leaves, plants by the time of your visit.

The Lodge
20 sites · Lodging, Tents101 acres · Kismet, KSThis property has been in the Wettstein Family for many years. I grew up on this property and have lived on it for 64 years.  My father (Wendell Wettstein) built the barn in 1948 to hold livestock in and also to have a dairy.  Linda and I have raised all our children on this place and now bring our grandchildren out to visit. We are a crop producing farm and run a pheasant hunting lodge during the hunting season.  This would be a place where you can come out to just relax for as long as you want to.
