Our beautiful urban location near highway 410 and Bishop's University, directly on St. Francis river, makes it an exceptional starting point for cyclists who want to enjoy the Route Verte path; fish, canoe, kayak or tube the river or simply explore all Sherbrooke has to offer. Our birdlife is amazing and is a recognized birding location by provincial authorities, especially for swallows and chimney swifts. A fire pit will be made available, in respect of all fire bans, with firewood available for purchase.
In 1910, Agriculture Canada set up a research centre that operated until the 1950's.
The property was sold to a family that emigrated to Canada from Europe, to set begin a new life post WW2.
In 2015, I purchased the property to return it to its roots - regenerative farming, training, hospitality, poverty relief and healthy living.

It's perfect for campers who like to experience "urban" camping. Some road noise. If you are concerned about the weather, the site provides the use of a 8 sleeper tent trailer for your convenience. During the day, you are welcome to relax in it too. Portable water will be provided, but bring your own drinks if possible. As a bonus treat, you are welcome to sleep in a very HIP camper, a 1980 retro dodge camper van.
