Magnificent private, wooded, and intimate lot located on the banks of the Chaudière River in Saint-Georges-de-Beauce. Access is via Route 204. Near the Sartigan Dam, close to several amenities: grocery stores (Metro, IGA, 7/23 convenience store), gas stations (Shell, Petro-Canada), restaurants (Subway, St-Hubert, Chez Gérard), an ice cream parlor, and the Pépite d'or cheese factory. Also located near the bike path. The lot is on hay.

We only accept calm and respectful guests.

Pets are allowed.

Situé également près de la piste cyclable. Le terrain est sur le foin.

This rare urban site acknowledges our Abenaki heritage, who camped and lived along these shores for centuries.   PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT SELF CONTAINED CAMPERS THIS YEAR. Our beautiful urban location near highway 410 and Bishop's University,  directly on St. Francis river, makes it an exceptional starting point for cyclists who want to enjoy the Route Verte path; fish, canoe, kayak or tube the river or simply explore all Sherbrooke has to offer.&nbsp; Our birdlife is amazing and is a recognized birding location by provincial authorities, especially for swallows and chimney swifts. A fire pit will be made available, in respect of all fire bans, with firewood available for purchase.

In 1910, Agriculture Canada set up a research centre that operated until the 1950's. 

 The property was sold to a family that emigrated to Canada from Europe, to set begin a new life post WW2. 

 In 2015, I purchased the property to return it to its roots - regenerative farming, training, hospitality, poverty relief and healthy living.

Seasonal, fresh farm produce will be available for purchase as well as guided garden tours.&nbsp; &nbsp;Located within 5 minute walking distance to Lennoxville (Bishop's University).&nbsp; It's perfect for campers who like to experience "urban" camping.   Some road noise.  If you are concerned about the weather, the site provides the use of a 8 sleeper tent trailer for your convenience.   During the day, you are welcome to relax in it too.   Portable water will be provided, but bring your own drinks if possible. As a bonus treat, you are welcome to sleep in a very HIP camper, a 1980 retro dodge camper van.

Tipi un lac au sommet

Hi everyone! We offer four tipis close to the beautiful Victoria River in the region of Lac-Megantic. It's a wonderful place to enjoy nature. There's sentier for hiking and two lakes to enjoy with a kayak. There is a bicycle available to go for a ride. 

In the tipi, the wood is included as well as a bed, just bring your sleeping bags. We have a summer kitchen also for you to cook your meals!
*** sometimes the GPS brings nowhere, when you arrive in the village of marston, turn right in ch.milan and after turn left at rang 5S , you arrive when you see the ending road :)  No wi-fi, no eletricity, just solar pannel, stars and joy . hope to see you!

A preserved land of 20 acres awaits you in a beautiful forest where a creek flows all year round. Watch the milky way in the first international deep sky reserve where we are situated. On site and nearby nature activities available on lake Megantic a few steps away and great hiking trails at Mont-Mégantic national park and mount Gosford.

All guests have access to 2km of trails, hammocks and sitting places to contemplate nature, a common area with an outdoor fireplace. We offer to all our guests the audio immersive "Encounter with forest-spirit" experience (30 to 40min duration about nature and ancestral aboriginal wisdom with drumming and flute playing performance). We also hosts activities like stargazing nights, aboriginal medicinal plants hike with storytelling, infrared sauna in our 4 season passive solar greenhouse and much more.
