It gets a little tricky if you are pulling a trailer. A small one is OK but a large one - not so much....... The rd goes 1/2 mile to the rear of the land. Moose, deer and other critters visit too. We live 1/2 mile away from where you enter the woodlot. Our house is on Brownington Pond (200+ acres) & campers can use this site for swimming, boating & fishing. We are providing a level stone pad 12'x40' with 30 amp power and water. We also have an above ground pool, fire pit, and 6' picnic table. Downtown Newport is 1.5 miles away to visit the gateway center, go on a cruise on the lake aboard Northern Star. Golf course and driving range is just .5 miles away. Take canoe or kayaks to Clyde pond for Bass fishing or just to enjoy nature. There is a dump station 1.5 miles away at treatment plant at Gardner park. This is a very easy drive through site with a lot to offer if visiting or just passing through..

1 night at Old Stone House Museum VT

Great tent camping experience. Quiet, great walking trails, amazing views, Surrounded by gardens, apple trees, grazing cows and you will be among several old historic buildings and farming implements from 1800's. I real bargain for the price! I went on a Monday into Tuesday when the museum and buildings were closed, this made for a private quiet experience. If you go during open times or peak summer/ fall times you may see more tourists passing through. Look forward to going again!

C’était parfait!! Bien isolé, sans voisins et assez reculé de la route. On entends un peu la route mais en bruit de fond seulement. Ça ne nous a pas empêché de dormir. Le terrain est beau, bien aménagé. On a eu l’impression d’être seul au monde! On y retournerait sans hésitation!

Weekend Trip to Little Sister's Campsite

We loved camping here it was very secluded and we were able to enjoy a nice campfire right under the beautiful Vermont sky. The host Tony was very nice and showed very kind hospitality, he allowed us to use his kayak on the actual pond although there is a pond on the site it's just a small pond that you can swim in if you want or you can go to the hosts main house and go in the real pond. I fished the big pond and caught a ton of yellow perch and some catfish in the pond by the site. We definitely would love to come back again someday.

Great private lot about 30 mins from KT. Great view of the mountains. Site had full amenities and full hookup for an RV. Both Rv and tent camping. Host is highly responsive. Highly reccomended.

Very nice camping spot: private, lot of space, very clean. Very dog-friendly and the fence makes it easy and safe for the dogs. The large fire pit and tables with umbrellas make it very comfortable. I recommend!

It was great! Easy to find if you read the instructions. The site was well maintained and loved the gravel patch - made packing up the tent so much easier. Fire pit was also great. Site is exactly as advertised. Bonus!! Amazing view of the stars.

Weekend Trip to Private River Sunset Camping

The gated food forest was so pretty and clean. We loved the soft grass, huge fire pit, and the two large umbrellas and tables. Our dog was able to roam around and play safely. The location is beautiful with rolling hills and farms. Nicole and Robert were very friendly and kind. They recommended some great hikes and festivals going on in the area. We would love to come back in the Fall to see all the colours.

Stayed 3 days in my suv and was inspired by the scenery, trails and hospitality. There is limited shade so I would bring a tent for my vehicle next time. Great place for photography and picturesque sunrises and sunsets. Can’t beat the price!
