Big rig-friendly
Spacious, level camping well-suited for travel trailers over 40 ft long.
We are providing a level stone pad 12'x40' with 30 amp power and water. We also have an above ground pool, fire pit, and 6' picnic table. Downtown Newport is 1.5 miles away to visit the gateway center, go on a cruise on the lake aboard Northern Star. Golf course and driving range is just .5 miles away. Take canoe or kayaks to Clyde pond for Bass fishing or just to enjoy nature. There is a dump station 1.5 miles away at treatment plant at Gardner park. This is a very easy drive through site with a lot to offer if visiting or just passing through..Situated on the back side of our property is a 12ft x 40ft stone pad with 30 amp power and water. The pool deck is 33ft from pad and large fire pit is adjacent to pool. Landscaping is well cared for and access to lot is very easy drive through. The area has numerous lakes and ponds for fishing, swimming, kayaks or canoes. Clyde pond / revivor is only .7 miles away. The golf course and driving range is very close and also have great food at restaurant. Amish now are living and thriving around our community, in Brownington close by you can visit The Old Stone House or take a cruise aboard Northern Star at the Gateway center in Newport.

The Pad
The site was thoughtfully appointed for campers. Easy access, drive through site. Level pad with electric and water supply. Hosts were good communicators and welcoming. Under two miles to Newport center.

Great stay - highly recommend!

The Pad
Had a great one-night stay at “The Pad”. Brian was very responsive, met us upon arrival, and helped direct us to the site, which is located at the back of his property. The site is a nice level “Pad” of polished river stone tucked back along the tree line, which gives some nice privacy. It has both water and 30-amp power available. There is also an above ground pool, picnic table and fire pit – which we did not use, as we were out enjoying Newport! The site is very conveniently located close to Newport’s shops, restaurants, hiking trails and Lake Memphremagog. Overall, a great experience. I would highly recommend a stay at “The Pad”.
