Just got back from the most amazing camping trip and I’m still buzzing! 🌲✨ This spot is an absolute gem—gorgeous nature everywhere, with so many hidden treasure spots tucked away in the forest. The lake and beach are the perfect size for a refreshing swim or just relaxing in the sun. Toilets? Super clean and well-kept. And the cherry on top? The incredibly friendly owner and their adorable dog, Shadow! 🐾 Felt so welcomed and at peace the entire time. Highly, highly recommend this magical place—and I honestly can’t wait to go back soon! ⛺💚

I always love camping here. My favourite part of the campground is how big the campsites are. It feels very secluded and the toilets are just a short walk.

Very nice place. Beautiful lake and alot of space. We went there in order to go to the tulips festival, Ottawa. It was just wow! It is not a camping with all services, but it is just great. You need to be self contained. The land us well kept and the people there are nice. A place to go without any doubt.

Very nice place. A great view on the lake. Much more than expected. We recommand the place. We visited Ottawa during our stay. We will come back. The village of Carp is just beautiful with nice café. Very quiet.

I did the car camping here. It was amazing all the campsites were empty when I was there so I get to pick whatever campsite I want. You don’t have any grocery stores around 20 km so bring in the wood and all the basic necessities .

I loved this beautiful campground where I spent the weekend — surrounded by stunning nature and peaceful vibes. It was the perfect getaway for relaxation and fun. Eileen is a unique and welcoming person. We’ll definitely be back!

7 nights at Whispering Pines - Curran, Ontario

For the practical reasons first: it's one of the most fairly priced campgrounds in the whole area, it's open all year round and it has many toilet pits on the property. It's a huge and forested landscape which provides total privacy. There is a beautiful history to the place and the sense of family and deep connections with Eileen and some of the full time campers who have been coming here for years. As I was traveling long distance, it was a beautiful place with lots of trails and a spring fed pond with a very big beach area. It was the perfect place for me to recharge and get stocked up for the last leg of my journey (there are libraries for WIFI 5 minutes away, the YMCA to get a work out and shower and all the stores you would ever need 20 minutes away). It was so perfect, I even extended my stay to enjoy a mini vacation in this easy going and peaceful place. Thank you so much for sharing it Eileen; it is so good hearted of you!

I had an amazing experience at this campsite! Eileen was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. She offered helpful tips and making us feel truly at home. I highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable outdoor retreat. I’ll definitely be back!

Even though the hosts plowed the camping site for our arrival, we got stuck in the snow due to our little experience with driving a RV. The host came to help us get out, he was really nice and we really do appreciate the effort he made into helping us! The camping site was beautiful and well prepared for our arrival.

It was a pretty nice campground. The campsites are all pretty big, well distanced from eachother and clean. The host was nice and the 2 seasonal campers who were there were also nice. We had a visit from their dog in the morning and he (or she) was very friendly and playful. I'm sure if we stayed during summer it would've been even better. I would recommend this campground to others.
