Like most folks who’ve been bitten by the water ski bug, I dreamed of having my own lake and when I met my life partner Harald, an elite slalom skier, my search began in earnest. By a combination of good timing and good luck, I was able to make that dream come true and in the spring of 2014 I acquired this land with the hopes of building my dream water ski lake on it. 7 years later, we have a thriving water ski club and are constantly making improvements to the site. We now have decided to add some sites for rent to share this incredible property with others outside the water ski community.
Site #1 is a small cabin that sleeps 3 and site #2 is a small houseboat that has been converted to a bunkie.
Onsite activities include use of a canoe and paddleboard. Use of a kid's swingset and olympic trampoline. Swimming and fishing.
Pets are welcome, campfires are permitted.

A peaceful nature space with a large magical pond (the size of an olympic swimming pool) to bask in, plus a 44 acre forest to roam.
You will have access to clean water to swim in (no soaps or detergents in the pond please, we also swim in the pond regularly so we might see you in there, the pond is about 40 meters from our house, no fishing in the pond), clean water to drink + wash dishes in, lots of safe flat parking for cars and camper vans, lots of safe flat grass for tents, a giant forest, views of a few beautiful horses doing their own thing on our pastures (do not feed them or go within the fenced off horse areas), loads of birds, dragonflies, butterflies and more!
We require quiet after 9pm, and before 9am. No excessive substance use please. No substance use if you are going to swim.
Private simple camping toilet/outhouse setup with view of nature. Water for washing hands. No shower.
We moved here because we thought it was beautiful, and we hope to share that with others. We live here, and enjoy the water and land every day. Looking forward to welcoming you and sharing our space!

Pro:
- nice host
- electricity as well as full fridge.
- Porta potty was a flush type so the smell was minimal
- watch water skiing from front of cabin and there is nice shade there in the evening
- there is a full screen sitting area with lawn furniture. great for keeping bugs off.
- Fairly quiet site as long as water ski was not taking place
- you can drive up to the Cabin
- The pond is very close to main road to go into town. About 20min away from costo and bass pro shop.
Con:
-Fridge doors opened towards the wall making fridge access extremely limited
- Cabin is tiny. when the couch is pulled out into a bed there is maybe 4 spots you can stand.
- Cabin is "roughing it" I would have brought a cleaner and wipes to give it a quick wipe down before use.
- No walking trails on property
- Porta potty is a little ways away so be prepared to walk if you need the bathroom.
- There is no latch on the Cabin door. either you lock it from the inside or the outside. it makes it hard if one person wants to nap in the afternoon.

Wonderful houseboat retreat!
This is a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. The view is absolutely stunning --sitting by the water in the morning or evening is pure joy. 🌅✨
The houseboat itself is very clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. It has everything you need: fridge, freezer, stove,light, dishes, and A/C. A frying pan and at least one blanket would be nice additions, but overall, the space is well-equipped.
The outside area is just as lovely — quiet, private, and ideal for enjoying coffee or relaxing by the fire🥰
The sofa looks so nice, but unfortunately, it’s very uncomfortable for sleeping--even though we brought extra mattress
Overall, this place has a special charm. Great views, privacy, and thoughtful touches --we will definitely come back again! 💛

This is a really lovely spot with equally lovely hosts! There are few flat areas to park or set up a tent. They are close to the hosts home, but easy enough to find a spot and create a bit of a screen for privacy. The pond is delicious at the end of the day. We really enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and we absolutely loved it!!! If you want to get away somewhere where you don't see many people, this is the place to go! Although they waterside, it was quite quiet. We brought a 2 person floatie and sat in the water with that while watching the boat go by. We would 100% stay here again. Only criticism is that the porta potty is a trek away and the bbq was quite dirty so we didn't use it. We loved it there and the host was very quick to reply to my messages. I recommend this place 100%!!!

T's Pond was the perfect place for us to stop on our trip to Niagara Falls! We enjoyed our time there and had fun swimming and watching a few skiiers on the lake. I did what a few other Hipcampers recommended and put our sleeping pad for tent camping on the pull-out couch. It was super comfortable that way. The only concerns I had was that the fridge and toaster oven weren't cleaned out from previous Hipcampers. Also, make sure any food you put in the fridge is in sealed containers! Everything I had in sealed containers was fine, but anything outside of sealed containers ended up with a really weird taste and had to be thrown out.
Overall I would say it was a good experience and I'd be happy to go back :)

Weekend Trip to T's Pond
We really enjoyed our time at the little houseboat. The site is really private and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting by the fire, using the BBQ, the paddleboard and generally just chilling out by the water. The houseboat itself is lovely and cozy.
Teresa is an excellent host and was available to answer and questions we had.
Overall it's a great way to spend some time by the water and get out of the city. Would highly recommend.

The setting is very serene. Swimming pond, hiking and walking paths.
Pathways and biking paths in close proximity for easy access.
If you want a place that gives you the opportunity to get in touch with nature this is it.
The tranquility and peaceful setting is a great way to truly get rejuvenated.
The hosts graciously share from their garden.

We camped for one night out by the pond and it was beautiful! We walked through the woodlands and got caught in a rains storm which was magical as all the little frogs came out. We greeted the neighbours horses, swam lots in pond, ate dinner watching the turtles swim, and looked out at the stars and moon. The singing of the birds was glorious. The woods can get boggy - bring mud friendly shoes and lots of bug spray if it’s due to rain, the mosquitos are active by the pond at night. There’s a gentle car sounds every now and again from the in-road, and there’s a loud bullfrog so bring earplugs if you’re not used to wildlife sounds. Directions were super clear, we felt very welcomed. Would camp here again!

My dog and I had an amazing time, I arrived and was greeted by Leila and given a tour of the property. Another group was there for the day but everyone was super friendly and I felt very welcome. The rest of my stay was quiet and peaceful. we got direct sun the entire day so the pond was perfect to have to cool down. I felt very safe as a solo female and am looking forward to visiting again.
