Welcome to Cedar Creek Forest Camping! Voted second best campsite in Canada in 2021 and ranked number 2 in Ontario in 2022.
I have 97 acres of very private camping. The forest is a bird watcher’s and nature lover’s paradise. I have developed miles of flat groomed trails and a 3-acre pond (plus several bush ponds). The sites are spread around the pond and are close but not right beside it. There is an abundant amount of wildlife to explore: birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, insects and mammals call this home. There is a small swimming hole on the island but otherwise the pond is full of aquatic life.
The sites and trails are maintained all year long and the forest is quiet and beautiful. I have planted over 3000 trees with the help of the Severn Sound Environmental Association. The forest is registered as a managed woodlot with the province and habitat preservation/restoration is the priority goal. Please DO NOT bring firewood for your visit. I have large bags of cured firewood that was sustainable harvested from the forest available. Invasive insects and disease can be transferred from imported wood.
Guests are welcome to quietly explore the forest trails but are asked to stay on the trail. Many birds and animals nest in the forest.
My campsite is family-friendly (and pet-friendly), and 420 friendly too. Guests can easily drive up to and park at all campsites. My camp site is tolerant and respectful of all humans, animals and things.
The Yurtle structures were built from Hemlock trees that were cut from this forest and processed into boards, then engineered into unique camping huts. Large windows capture the glory of the surrounding forest and sun sets, while wood stoves warm campers on those cold days/nights.
Guests are asked to remove excessive garbage and recycling when possible.

Pricing for trail rides - sleigh rides separate. You can also bring your own horses for horse camping we have a beautiful new facility to accommodate almost any equestrian need.
Upon arrival you can safely park your car and we can if desired carry your gear and you pack to the camping acreage via our tractor or golf cart or simply walk yourself - it’s not far. Our outhouse is near the main house - we have access to a SOLIS X for an extra fee if you need WIFI. Farm fresh eggs also available to cook over your fire from our 12 new and amazing chickens ! Free of charge ... we will do anything possible to make your stay comfy and relaxed. Please note - firewood is available for an extra fee (we prefer if you don’t bring your own since some can be infected with invasive species and we try to protect the area as much as possibles). Firewood is $6.00 a bag and typically includes starters and kindling) depending on the local supplier we use.
Coming in the summer - fire pits - bunkies - GLAMPING - and more but for now - come walk / hike our endless trails lined with black berry bushes and wild strawberries along our “secret garden” and enjoy absolute privacy and solitude knowing we are sort of nearby if you need anything at all. We are new at this - just bought this amazing property but we are here to share the experience- WELCOME to our journey - we are at the first step. If you have any questions please ask ! My friend and I had a lovely stay the end of February. The Strawbale cabin was absolutely gorgeous. It was nice and cozy with the wood stove and we were supplied enough wood to keep us toasty during our stay. The outhouse was very cute and did not have an odour. We met one host on our arrival and she was very friendly. Hosts were responsive and helpful. Overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone. Stayed with dogs and horses. Eggs, honey and note were a lovely personal touch.

Weekend Trip to Forest Cabin
The forest cabin was everything I’d hope for and more. I wanted a place to get away and reconnect with nature and that’s exactly what I got out of my stay. I went for hikes through the property, got to play with the sheep and the dogs! And like others have said in their reviews, by far the best outhouse I’ve ever soon! I would 100% recommend staying here! I’ll be back to check it out in the spring or summer!

2 nights at Forest Cabin
Everdale is a special place! The straw cabin is simple, comfortable and so quiet! I felt safe as a person going there solo and walked their well loved and cared for land extensively. It was an education as well in that they have a regenerative farm. Being a long time gardener myself, it was interesting to read the sign posts on my walk explaining different aspects of regenerative farming and the lands ecology. I'll definitely come back and in the colder months, be sure you're comfortable keeping the woodstove going, you may need to split wood, etc. Also, being solar powered, if it's a cloudy day, the lights may go off early. I was glad I brought a battery operated lamp. Great place, great feeling there.!

Weekend Trip to Three Ponds Homestead
We, three moms looking for a little escape, couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot for our fall weekend. From the moment we arrived, everything about this place felt quietly magical.
The setting is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, natural, restorative. The rustle of autumn leaves, crisp fresh air, and unspoiled surroundings made it easy to slow down and breathe. It’s rare to find somewhere so serene, where you can truly unwind.
The host was thoughtful and attentive in all the right ways. The tent was comfortable and well-prepared; everything was clean, cared for, and exactly what we needed. The out houses were immaculate—so well kept that they felt more like a pleasant surprise than an afterthought.
We left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and inspired. Thank you for the kindness, the care, and the chance to rest in such a lovely place. We very much hope to return!

We enjoyed our stay so much we'll definitely be returning. Good amount of wood supplied and easy to grab another bag. The outdoor kitchen was so well stocked and clean. The outhouse as well. I could go on and on, but I don't want you booking one of our future stays there.

Weekend Trip to Rugby House Retreat
We loved our little retreat! The cabin was cozy and had everything you needed. Really appreciated the fridge. Upon arrival, they were so kind and showed us around. The bed was actually so comfortable (we did not want to get up). Our dog loved it! Cute little paths to explore.

Beautiful structure near the creek. Big ol raft in the water with a ZIIIIPPLLLLIIIINNNEE that was much enjoyed

We had a lovely time in the Igloo. The location is beautiful and the water was clean and swimmable. The zip line and the slide were pretty fun too. We oiled have loved if the toilet was not beside the bed, it doesn’t smell lovely while in bed. Nonetheless we had a lovely time. Cleaning guy crept up on us before 11 am check out and scared the bejesus out of us. Maybe coming after 11 am would be a nice touch. The sound of the river while sleeping was a plus ! Bring a fan if you are visiting in the summer it is hot. The sauna is lovely and close to the water so you can plunge when it’s hot;)

I actually stayed at “The Glades” cabin that they also have hosted, and we are SO glad we came!
From the moment we got there we were greeted by the friendly hosts and shown to the cabin, which was completely stocked with cutlery, cooking utensils, and more. There was plenty room to walk around inside, and the view to the pond was beautiful.
The entire property is very beautiful, and if you walk along the paths you will find a cute little cabin village they have created in the forests. It’s very magical.
Firewood was provided and after we ran out we had no problem finding lots more wood to keep it running.
If your looking for a fun little Camping escape this is definitely somewhere you should stay, either the Poor House, or the Glades you will very much enjoy the scenery. Well worth the visit and would recommend to anyone.

Weekend Trip to Uxbridge Igloo
We had an amazing time at the Uxbridge igloo this summer. Our favourite part was the personal "lake" on the property that was perfect for swimming and cooling off after a hot day. They had a full BBQ and blackstone for cooking. The sauna looked cool but we never used it. Igloo itself is very nice, definition of glamping. Only issues were that the igloo gets really hot in the summer, bring a fan or two cause the A/C doesn't work. There also wasn't any utensils for cooking but they had everything else - working toilet, toiletries, blankets, pillows, towels, etc. We will definitely be back soon!!

Very well kept grounds. Peaceful setting. The outhouse was very nicely kept. And the firewood supplied was perfectly dry. I enjoyed observing the horses too.

My stay at 3 Ponds was exactly what I needed. I stayed in the Bell Tent and it was exactly as described; very clean, inviting and peaceful. Wendi lays out perfect instructions for you to pack and plan accordingly as well as how to find your spot with ease. Communication with Wendi was effortless and supportive. I will absolutely be back.

We stumbled upon this rustic glamping site by chance last year, and it was such a wonderful find that we couldn’t wait to return. This year, we came back with friends for a longer stay, and it was even better than we remembered.
The setting is absolutely beautiful – peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for truly unwinding. Wendi is lovely, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the experience feel even more special. One of the highlights for us were the amazing horses they’re gentle, majestic, and added something magical to our stay. We can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a unique, relaxing escape. We’ll definitely be back again!
