Very close to all the great stuff available at this part of Bruce peninsula. We share our backyard with our guests, we are very close to everything that Bruce county has to offer, port Elgin, Southampton, golf courses, different accesses to saugeen river where u can go fishing canoeing, tubing etc., supermarkets, native reserve, sauble beach and dozens of other ones…all at max 15 minutes distance… in the property you will find everything u need for a peaceful stay, hard to describe everything you will find but u can read our reviews, some of them have beautiful descriptions of what is here for you, you must love animals, since we have our pets all around, u are also super welcome to bring yours. One of the high points of here is the interaction u will have with the pets, they are all super friendly and will play with u every time they see u, they believe u r here for them, between, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc they will be part of your stay, this is theyr home, u r theyr guests, that’s how they think, so u must be a pet lover. For the canine: please bring your bedding, there’s a few pillows and bed covers but bring your personal bedding, queen size…Looking forward to meet you.

There are four acres of woods to explore right beside Townsend Lake, a small, quiet lake perfect for canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The lake warms up quickly in the spring and is great to swim in. There is a cabin to sleep in and many camping items are provided, like a Coleman stove, tables, dishes, and a screen shelter.
You will have access to the dock and a large fire pit area which are part of the owner’s cottage on the property. There will be a port-a-potty on site.
Lake Townsend is close to several conservation areas and 12 minutes to the quaint town of Markdale with several shops, a bakery, and a large grocery store.

We are on a quiet and peaceful but WORKING 16 acre hobby farm. This is a one-room cabin that has hydro and a solar light if the power goes out. We have an outdoor facility (outhouse) with a camping toilet and a wash station with a little sink in it to wash up. There is the use of the BBQ on the deck with seating. There is a shared fire pit that you are more than welcome to use with firewood. We run a little hobby farm and the guests are more than welcome to interact with the animals with the guidance of the owners. We also provide an area for your horses to hang out if u are traveling with them. Wifi available.
Located within 40 minutes of beautiful beaches and provincial parks, this location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. Ample hiking, biking, and fishing opportunities are all available a short distance from the cabin.

It was a short but sweet trip! Gillian and Jim are great hosts! The cabin is awesomely complete with lots of fun ready for family to use and enjoy! We are definitely going back this summer! We got a bit lost but it was our fault. We thought we are in Markdale but we were in Durham and so we misinterpreted the direction. Lol. But nevertheless, it was one of the fun part of adventure!

I had a lovely time staying at New Earth Estate. I would like to highly appreciate Nana’s husband and the team for being so kind and welcoming us at an unexpected check-in hour. I was truly humbled by their hospitality. He even managed to shovel the snow for us and get everything ready for our stay late in the evening. His gesture meant a lot to us.

3 nights at Stillwater Bunkie and RV Site
Our visit to the Stillwater Bunkie was a great few days! We had private access to a lake, a well-maintained firepit and composting toilet, and a cozy bunkie. Despite being out at the Bunkie in mid-November, we were able to keep very warm inside the Bunkie with the wood burning stove and the provided propane heater. The Bunkie and property came stocked with lots of thoughtful supplies (ex some basic dishes and cutlery, water for washing dishes and 4L of drinkable water per day, blankets, pillows, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, BBQ, firewood, marshmallow roasting sticks, axe, etc). The sofa bed and loft bed were very comfortable! The use of the fridge in their garage and a portable power station in the Bunkie are huge bonuses that many other listings don't provide. The listing mentioned an outdoor shower which we thought would be working but wasn't connected. Not a big deal for a few days but it definitely changed how we planned to keep clean and fresh. Colin was very easily accessible via messaging on this app and was quick to provide any extra supplies we required during our stay (for example, a garbage bin as listed in their welcome/info binder provided inside the Bunkie). Overall, we enjoyed our time out at the Stillwater Bunkie and I would recommend it to others! See

We loved Gillian and Jim’s property. Our stay could not have been better. Their hospitality and kindness went above and beyond. Their attention to the little things made all the difference. They aim to please by exceeding all expectations, more than any other host we have experienced. The three of us were very comfy and had lots of fun after dark by the fire and inside playing games. We got lucky with clear skies and sun. The stars were out and the sun in the morning was glorious. We only had time for one night but it felt like so much more. We will certainly be booking again and highly recommend to anyone looking to connect with Nature and relax.

This is one of the best places I’ve stayed at so far! The location can be a little tricky to find, but Jim and Gillian give clear directions. Once you arrive, it’s just a short walk to your cabin surrounded by nature—and that’s really what this place is all about. You’ll have everything you need: water right in front, a cozy campfire, and even some games to make your stay more fun.
The best part is the full privacy, since there’s only one cabin on the property, making the whole place yours. Jim and Gillian are so kind and helpful, which made the experience even better. I already have plans to go back—so don’t think twice, just go for it! ✨❤️

Accommodations were extremely clean, all modern conveniences available were an excellent bonus (mini fridge, cellphone charger, overhead fan, lighting and room heater) and the property was beautiful and tranquil. Had an excellent and relaxing stay. My dog loved his swim times in the creek and I enjoyed waking up to the sound of it in the morning. Also enjoyed some of the wildlife sights and sounds: humming birds, cows, fish, coyote howls at night. Wonderful and helpful hosts.

Then, hike, birdwatch, canoe, and stargaze without ever leaving the park.
