We didn't end up going to the location after booking it for a night because of snow but Nancy was flexible enough to provide us refund. She from her own told us its ok if you don't come over even on the day of the booking. This shows that she has some values. We will try and go over to her location anytime soon. Melanie & Ryan were fantastic hosts! They were kind, helpful, and incredibly responsive. The place is beautiful, and the lights make it magical and easy to navigate around at night. The yurt was gorgeous. My friend and I visited at the end of October, so it got very cold at night. However, the mattress heating pad worked wonders, and Melanie was incredibly kind to offer us additional bedding. Thank you for a great glamping experience!

This was our second time at the farm. We had another amazing time. We were greeting by the host immediately and had everything ready for us, including a heap of firewood. Weekend Trip to Tincan Ranch

Just a great bit of land for group camping. The field is healthy mowed grass and tree lined, with some woods that provide privacy and shade and cut out virtually any road noise (and make for great hammock camping). The ground is nice and essy for staking and sleeping on, and Chris and Denise have set up several fire pits that serve the need nicely. The site is set adjacent from the shop far back enough to have great privacy, and the hosts are wonderful. Strong recommend for group campouts when you want to be near enough to civilization while looking for a unique spot to stay that affords a feeling of isolation.

Fantastic little well-equipped bunkie with excellent privacy on a quiet and spacious lot! Chris and Denise were wonderful and very easygoing hosts who ensured our group had what we needed and gave us a quick tour of the site before giving us free range for the duration of our stay. The shop has an impressive array of trailers onsite to gander at while there, and the shop building bathroom was a nice luxury to have for group camping. Loved our time there, a very unique spot to spend some time.

The back glen was absolutely perfect. I went in the end of September and the weather was perfect. Charles was very kind and accommodating as well! You can fish and swim in the water, as well as walk some trails along the fields. I set up a hammock by the convenient porta potty and it was perfect. The ground is very level as well for anyone with tents. I will definitely be coming back again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Heartwood Cidery. We chose the Spruce Sanctuary which was more secluded and had a private outdoor kitchen with everything you would need. Val was a welcoming host and provided a complimentary flight of ciders upon arrival, (and enjoyed some live entertainment too) Serene property, relaxing, a nice easy get away. Enjoyed meeting the farm animals too! Would recommend staying here :)

They will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. 45 min from mississauga, walking distance from the Bruce Trail, and 30 min from Kelso / Hilton Falls. Why would you want to stay somewhere else?!?

Weekend Trip to SUJO Funny Farm Camping

We had a great 2nights camping at Sujo funny farm. Although we think we were mistakenly directed to the wrong campsite from what we booked, the campsite that we had is still good coz it’s kids friendly and quiet, away from the road. The hosts are really nice and very generous. While kids are having fun feeding the donkeys with fresh apples from the tree, the dads enjoyed fishing in the nearby pond. We will definitely recommend Susan’s land to our family and friends for their future camping adventure.

This was a spectacular little gateway in nature. We had a whole big spot surrounded by evergreens and felt a sense of privacy. Donkeys, alpaca, bulldogs, oh my! When we initially pulled up I was like "oh this is kind of close to their house" (You could not see the house, just occasionally my girlfriend hounds me to turn our music up and it gives me terrible anxiety) You couldn't hear a thing; literally felt like we were in the middle of nowhere Pre purchased firewood as well as the hydro and water hook up which I highly recommend... Had a nice chat with John when he delivered our firewood both days. The donkeys are super friendly, the place is superb, and I would definitely stay there again Can't begin to express how much this little trip meant to us, and can't thank John and Susan enough for their hospitality See you in a couple months friends.
