Enjoy fresh veggies from the garden and have the comforts of home with use of a large picnic table outside or dining table in the yurt. Guests are welcome to sleep in the yurt for $40 on top of standard fee to make camping easy upon request. The toilet and shower located in our home are open to use as needed, plus we have a composting toilet and shower stall outside. Our WIFI can be used on the porch.
I work from home sewing Hanging HUGS custom luxury hammocks and can teach you how to sew your own, or offer what I have in stock. An expedition sea kayaker and expert rock climber with more than 25 years experience, I can offer clients a unique look at our province. It's a pleasure to introduce you to my favourite spots. We also own an off-grid camping area close to Fundy Trail Provincial Park, where I have made a hiking trail to an epic location which I have been developing for rock climbing over 10 years.
From our farm you can pull a kayak on wheels to the river to be fishing in ten minutes, or roll through the forest on a fat bike enjoying a loop trail around the property. We'll include the bikes, rod and worms at no charge. You could easily fill a weekend here with outdoor activities and make memories you'll never forget.
Wake up listening to the birds in this birdwatchers paradise. There is plenty wildlife such as deer, and turtles in the pond. Whenever we say we live in Jemseg the response is always, "It's beautiful there."

Enjoy an extremely unique opportunity to camp on Long Island, NB!
This primitive site is on a 7-mile long island, with two nature preserves, an abundance of flora, and no vehicles, no people, just peace. For the purist.
You will need your own watercraft to access the site or someone to transport and pick you up at the end of your camping trip. A 1 kilometre hike is also necessary to get to the site.
The site is located on Long Island near Saint John, New Brunswick. Long Island in the Kennebecasis River was once a thriving farming settlement. Now it's a mecca for hikers!

What a wonderful and cozy experience this was. Not only was the Yurt perfectly setup for us when we arrived, but I didn’t expect all the subtle touches around the property. There was a trampoline and Adirondack chairs setup which was perfect for my family after a long drive. The fan and twinkle lights inside made for a blissful night under the stars. Corey was gracious and detailed and even set up hammocks for us. Would happily come again

Super friendly family, took me to the best swim spot in a quarry! Cory caught a fish and shared it that night. They went kayaking the next day. Cory is from the area back to his grandparents and he knows how to show you around. I slept in my car up above the Orchard. Their homestead is a work in progress and I felt absolutely welcome and included.

Cory and his wonderful family were so welcoming! I had a beautiful, shady spot that offered privacy as well as access to everything with well kept trails throughout the property.
They were kind enough to include me in trips to a secret swimming hole, and bonfires with their family friends who were also visiting.
He was immediately responsive to my only concern, a lack of table, and I had dropped off one within the day.
I was busy with day trips so didn’t spend as much time exploring ‘on site’ as I would have liked, but I would certainly return to do such.

NS provincial park fire ban. Way to ruin camping… off grid ftw. Great, amazingly nice hardworking people, both Mike and Salma. Chantal the horse trainer is amazing with kids and even taught me not to pick at how well a chore is done, rather that it is done at all.
Kids loved the cave, and rock climbing. I’d have to say the zip line was both of their highlight at the park. 🥳

Cory‘s place was the real deal. We were very warmly welcomed with a tour across the property. We booked last minute so Cory was a little surprised we pulled up but nonetheless took his time to show us around despite having friends over. We ended up taking a walk over to the sailboat and doing an amazing bonfire together. We even got to stay in the yurt despite having booked a tent site as there were no other visitors that day. Sadly we had to leave early the next day so we couldn’t go rock climbing with Cory. BUT I ended up sewing my own hammock with him which was an amazing experience. We totally recommend staying with Cory, his family (and friends) you will have an amazing experience and likely leave with some stories to tell and tasty homegrown veggies.

Great spot! We were one of the only people there! We stayed here for a quick night on our way out to Quebec. Easy to get to, and you can pick whatever site you want when you get there.
Two things to note: the highway is close by so you do hear it from where you stay. And a train comes by at a random hour at night pretry close by.
