Edgewater Beach Resort is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. There are 2 RV sites at Edgewater that are located just a few feet from the water's edge. Lake Taneycomo is a cold- water lake that is famous for trout fishing. The resort has 3 docks that you can fish off of. You can also fish anywhere along the water's edge. Each RV site has water, sewer, and electric hookups, wifi, a private picnic table, and a private firepit/ grill. The sites are separated by a privacy fence for the utmost privacy. The resort has boat rentals, a fish cleaning station, an outdoor pool that is open from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend, a playground, and a laundry room. I also have boat slips available to rent for $20 a night. The resort is next to Empire Park which has lots of fishing spots, a playground, a disc golf course, and walking trails. The resort is 16 miles from The Branson Landing. You can get there by car or boat. Ask me about adding a boat slip to your reservation or about getting a discount for a long-term stay. Please note, the water spigots at the RV sites can't be turned on if the outdoor temperature is below freezing. *Lake Taneycomo will look different based on the seasons, weather, and the flow of water in the lake. It is common to see a large amount of duckweed in the lake, especially in the coves, during periods of high heat. It isn't attractive, but it is harmless. The maintenance crew at the resort constantly works to keep the coves looking as nice as possible, but it is a natural body of water, so there's only so much that can be done.*

We are a small hobby farm with a dog, chickens, a small fruit orchard, vineyard, and garden!! On the north end of the property we created a playground with a jungle gym, swings, trampoline, playhouses, outside polyjohn/toilet, and a 16' pool. This property is pet friendly but be warned we do have a large dog (very friendly)! We have power to support smaller 20amp campers with water and a dump station. The pasture is quite visible from Old Route 66, nearly adjoining it. Therefore people traveling “the Mother Road” find it convenient to stay with us. Grass is the best forage for horses, especially older ones, so we take care of our pastures, making for beautiful scenery for campers, too. Plus the entire back mile is bordered by old forest. And there is a swimming hole not a half mile away. This is a quiet and private site, bordered by a neighbor's old forest on back, other neighbor's cattle pasture on side, and you're in one of the pastures used by the Horse Sanctuary. (You are camping about 1/4 mile, more or less, from our house.) We regularly see coyote, wild turkeys, deer, fireflies, and the like.   We are just 1/2 mile off Old Route 66, therefore there are quirky little museums and great restaurants (for such a rural area!).   Plus we are only about an hour's drive from Branson. MO. which is a known tourist attraction.

Edgewater Beach Resort is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. There are 2 RV sites at Edgewater that are located just a few feet from the water's edge. Lake Taneycomo is a cold- water lake that is famous for trout fishing. The resort has 3 docks that you can fish off of. You can also fish anywhere along the water's edge. Each RV site has water, sewer, and electric hookups, wifi, a private picnic table, and a private firepit/ grill. The sites are separated by a privacy fence for the utmost privacy. The resort has boat rentals, a fish cleaning station, an outdoor pool that is open from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend, a playground, and a laundry room. I also have boat slips available to rent for $20 a night. The resort is next to Empire Park which has lots of fishing spots, a playground, a disc golf course, and walking trails. The resort is 16 miles from The Branson Landing. You can get there by car or boat. Ask me about adding a boat slip to your reservation or about getting a discount for a long-term stay. There is a state park boat ramp a short distance away. The steps in the photos are plenty sturdy to tie boats to overnight. This river is fishable with flat bottom jet drive boats most of the spring and early summer and floatable year round. You can float to your campsite and relax instead of waiting in line at the boat ramp. Also we are located about 13 miles from Crane Creek, A blue ribbon trout park. You can camp here and fish there.

We had an amazing experience at Howler Bike Park. Jennifer and John were the most accommodating hosts and truly went above and beyond. The temperature got very low this weekend and they went so far as to buy extra blankets and took them around to make sure we were warm enough. The glamping tent was spacious and close to the fire pit, restrooms, and all the great things at Base Camp. The restrooms and showers were very nice and well kept. The coffee shop, welcome center, the food truck - it was all spectacular. We will absolutely be coming back again.

We absolutely loved staying at Howler. The owners have really thought about everything. It was a beautiful hike to get to the tents, but staff came to help with gear and bikes right after we called. The tents were spacious, beds were comfortable, and they are just the coziest and cutest thing. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained, and it was nice to have private shower rooms. We can’t say enough nice things about the owners and staff. John and Jen go above and beyond to make you feel like family while you’re there. The hiking trail and Swingset were great for kids and non-bikers, and the bike trails were a great challenge. We would recommend this place just for a weekend getaway, even if you’re not into mountain biking.
