Great set up, lovely quiet location. Easily accessible by car or transit.
Would highly recommend the canvas tents, but bring lots of wood if you’re staying in colder weather!

Quiet, getaway with the view of stars each night. Open fire pits and cosy log burner in the tent for the cooler nights. The beds were super comfortable with high grade thread sheets. It was a wonderful experience and we would do it again.

The place was nice and clean, the stay was very pleasant. However, the Fox Den was the only tent without an electric light (all the other tents did have a light). So, if you need light inside the tent book one of the other tents.

Super nice clean spot. There are kind of a lot of people there which actually makes it feel like a fun campground, but still quiet and peaceful and everyone everyone’s really respectful. The bathrooms and kitchen are great! It actually really exceeded my expectations.

We loved the place! Super convenient if you are travelling to Vancouver island via Tsawwassen. Instructions were clear, We slept in the Halfmoon lodge tipi style tent and used the communal outdoor kitchen area and fire pit. Would book again!

We loved staying in the Eagles nest for 2 nights! We sat by the fire and met new people. We also had no problems going into Vancouver for the day, it was easy drive. Very nice spot .

2 nights at Oceans Edge Eagle Retreat
We enjoyed our time there. The outdoor kitchen was great and had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning up. The outdoor showers were beautiful, I could stare up at the Eagle’s Nest thru the clear ceiling.
Some of the sites had no names and so it was difficult to find our site. Several people had this issue. Tina’s number goes to a voicemail that has not been set-up so we could not reach her by phone.
Some people showed up and she did not show their reservation. That was frustrating for some.
Also, there is not a beach in the traditional sense of a beach. There is a nice long boardwalk thru a grassy wetland with birds, ducks, geese, and groundhogs. It takes you to a spot where you can see the water far away.
Shonna, the assistant was a great help! She worked non-stop making sure everyone was comfortable and happy!
Not such a fan of the port-potties but we survived. Lol😆

Was a cozy place to stay the beds were so comfortable. Neat outdoor shower experience you can see the eagle nest above. Was so nice to have a morning coffeee and see the eagle and her baby flying around and being busy bringing stuff to the nest. I loved the outdoor shared kitchen. Had a chance to meet some other campers there who were all friendly made a nice experience for us. No pressure. Friendly atmosphere. Wish we stayed there longer. Will come back if we go to the area again.

Plenty of space for the RV. A lot of big trees for shade. Clean site near the bay just across the road with no traffic. Host Tina agreeable and welcoming, responds quickly to emails. The site is less than 15 minutes from the ferry to Victoria or Nanaimo. Clean showers. Easy to do biking around.

My friend Melissa and I absolutely loved our stay at this retreat. We had the pleasure of meeting Tina, the owner, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. She even showed us a fascinating eagle's nest on the property, which was such a unique experience! We left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed—just what we needed to reset before heading back to work. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year!
