From your tent or RV, you can take in views of the surrounding mountains and relax while watching the sunset. Pets are welcome. We’re a great base for exploring area sights such as Okanagan Lake, the Shuswap River, Enderby Cliffs, and more. For those bringing RVs, this property can accommodate vehicle lengths up to 45 feet on mostly grassy surfaces. There are no hookups, and generators are not allowed. Campfires are okay as long as there are no fire restrictions in place. Welcome to Cuddly Cat Farms. This property is our dream come true. Located 5 min from the city of Vernon you have fantastic views of our beautiful valley and are surrounded by Apple Orchards. We were the first people to live on this land and have built everything you see since 2017. When we arrived there were no trees on the property and we have planted some in the campsites which are quite small but will one day be large and mighty. Enjoy 20 beautiful acres just 5 minutes out of Vernon. Close proximity to Kal Lake, Swan Lake and Lake Okanagan. Fantastic hiking trails, biking trails, and watersports close by. We currently have 7 dispersed sites. These sites are set up in a ring, each with their own fire pit when there is no fire ban. There are washrooms and showers at our shop just a little hike from the sites. The water is well water and quite soft, but it is potable. The skinny taps in the washrooms do have filtered water There is potable water for washing dishes ( warm and cold) at the taps on the outside of the shop - near the entrance door for the washrooms. We live on the property as well, up on the hill. We want everyone to have a wonderful experience but do also want you to have your privacy. We venture down to the sites periodically to check but do try to stay out of the way. We look forward to hosting you!

The property is in a very quiet location and we were all alone in the camp spot and woke up to sunshine and light breeze in the trees around us. Wes and Maeghan's property is very beautiful, spaceish, and has everything you need for a comfortable camping trip - hot water shower, fire pit, laundry, etc. They were great hosts and communicators, and we felt very welcomed :). 10/10 would recommend.

Very happy with our stay at the Thirsty Farmer! We had it all to ourselves and the space was ample for our dog to enjoy. The hosts were welcoming and generous. Having use of a washroom with shower and laundry AND a bbq was such a total bonus! The kids loved the rope swings and the stargazing was great. Thank you Wesley and Maeghan! We highly recommend for a slightly unique experience.

We liked this place! The sites are spaced out as you would expect in a campground. Great facilities to have shower and flush toilets available just up the hill. We saw one cat briefly and our friendly host came to welcome us in after we were set up. Would definitely recommend.

Handful of spots huddled around a circle of open land. Very quiet and great spot for us to land for our first night in BC (from Bellingham). Hike up a dirt road a short bit to the well kept bathrooms with a shower in each. Close to Vernon if you wanted to eat out or check out shops. I would recommend Ginnys place for sure.

Was the perfect last min spot to camp. It's just mins from everywhere I wanted to go. Was next to a very quiet road, I saw more familys out for evening walks than cars all day, I woke to the birds chirping and some cows mooing. There are clean bathroom and showers ( I was so thankful for) available in the gym. Some sites had patio tables/side tables and chairs, they worked for what was needed. Not all the site had them available. Would recommend staying here. Every night as the sun went down like clock work I had a sweet kitty come say good night.

Nice convenient spot to use as a base camp while exploring the Okanagan. Having the washroom facilities is a huge bonus! We spent 3 comfy nights here and would recommend it highly. Be aware there is no shade to be found, but if you plan accordingly and are creative you can rig something up to alleviate the worst of the heat. We were generally away during the heat of the day anyway. The nights were cool and generally bugless with the exception of the pleasant sound of cicadas and crickets to serenade us to sleep. Great little campground right outside Vernon in a quiet grassy field. Full bathroom a one minute walk up the hill. It was all I needed as a solo camper. Note: there is no shade in the summer, so it’s very hot. I highly recommend this little gem. Oh… and the cats, I only met one, but he was extremely friendly!

Beautiful spot with a large space that is fenced in so our dogs could be off leash. It was all grass that was so great to be able to walk around on the grass. Great hosts and some cool animals on site like chickens, geese, ducks, and peacocks.

It was very accommodating and clean. The cat that we met was super friendly. The camp site was great. Plush grass to camp on. Super great to have towels and soaps if you happen to have forgotten yours. No other camp sites I’ve stayed at supply things like that. The price to stay at a last minute camp ground was fabulous.
