There is a 5 minute walk to the lake, there is a boat launch about 5 minutes drive down the road as well for the boaters. We have a couple of 16 foot kayaks available for you to use if you wish. As this is a working farm you should expect to hear farm noises such as rooster crowing or machinery running from time to time. Other spots available for tent campers or car campers - weekly - monthly rates negotiable

3 nights at Dusty Acres

Our first Hipcamp experience and it won't be our last. What a treat to be away from the mass camping of the Okanagan and to simply enjoy the quiet and solitude. Hosts, Sue and Randy, were wonderful and so accommodating. Randy supplied us with fresh pheasant eggs. Yum. The dogs were super friendly, the baby alpacas were adorable. The river was quite high so we couldn't enjoy the full experience of river and beach however we will definitely come back later in the year. Thank you Sue for the kayaking tips. I'll be in touch for future trips!

2 nights at Olich Creek Farm

We camped in the RV site on this idyllic farm in a stunning valley. The site was level and spacious. Our dogs had room to run and learned to get acquainted with horses, goats, cows and ducks. Heather and her family were great hosts and lovely people. Would go back!

It was a lovely quiet spot with all the hook ups ! Heather was so kind, friendly and helpful. We loved visiting with all the farm animals too. Great place to stay for some peaceful rejuvenation

This campground was absolutely stunning with very helpful and kind staff. The grounds were beautifully groomed, and the facilities were spotless. It’s a very peaceful campground very close to Revelstoke. They even have cabins and Geo dome housing.

Honestly I can forgive the noise from the highway/trains because this campsite was exceptional. Everything you’d ever need and more - the facilities were new and spotlessly clean, the staff were helpful and then some and the hot tub was just an extra bonus! Truly adored BMR and would go back in a heartbeat.

Heather’s spot is a hidden gem. Very private save for the animals. We brought our dog and he was off leash where appropriate and he had a great time! Super close to Enderby Cliffs (a hike with amazing views). Farm country. Very lovely and Heather was the perfect hostess:) Thank you Heather for a wonderful stay. You clearly have a big heart in what you do for these animals.

Weekend Trip to Mara Lake RV Park & Campground

We had a lovely time at Mara Lake campground, the site had everything we needed for our RV and the staff were super helpful when we needed help! The view was lovely and the Sicamous Creek Trailhead was less than a 5 minute walk up the road which was awesome! It looks like they’re doing some renovations & adding more spots to the campground, too! We will definitely return :)

Great amenities and location . Easy to locate with helpful staff on arrival. Wifi (which a international traveller relies on) was a hit and miss dropping in and out but didn’t effect the overall stay by any means

Nice clean place close to town. The showers and bathrooms were very clean. The site had power and sewer. It backed up away from the road so that was nice as well.
