Nestled in the pristine Nahatlatch Valley between the Nahatlatch River and Fraser River. Washtock Family Campground offers rustic camping from tents to RVs. We are an ATV friendly campground with ride in ride out accessibility.
The campground offers pull through RV Sites with non-potable water and septic connections. We are off grid so we have no power/electricity connections but allow generators.
We have space for big groups or just a quick get away for two, we can accommodate you.
We have flush toilets and outhouses as well as a hot shower for guest use.
We have a small store on site with your regular camping goodies, Ice, seasonal vegetable, as well as farm fresh eggs and all natural free range beef from our farm.
We are located 13km north of Northbend which is across the river from Boston Bar BC. Once you reach Boston Bar you will Turn left at the Esso and cross 2 sets of railroad tracks bringing you into Northbend, from Northbend there is about 6km of paved road after that there is 6km of gravel road until you reach our campground.
Past our campground is the beautiful Nahatlatch provincial Park which contains Francis lake, Hanna Lake and Nahatlatch Lake. The lakes offer an abundance of activities such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and paddle boarding. The first lake is about a 15-20 min drive again on gravel road. 2 wheel drive accessible until 21km on the forest service Road after 21km you will need a 4x4, if you plan to travel to Grizzly falls or the 3rd Lake.
There are many hiking, biking, horseback riding and ATVing trails in the area.

A wonderful family campground with very friendly owners. The sites are spacious, and the facilities include flushing toilets, showers, and playground for kids. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing — a great place to stay! We will definitely come again.

It's a nice spot to stay with friendly hosts and wide open views of the surrounding hills. You'll be in a grassy fenced in area with no amenities too far away.
NOTE: Double check the destination if tapping directly from the Hipcamp app to Google Maps because the first place it sent us was down the wrong road. We had to type in the actual address, then we got there okay.

camped in hammocks here and our booking didnt have enough trees so they let us switch to a spot that accommodated us better :)
fresh produce in their store off of their farm and all the other things you need to camp. this campsite was incredible

We are long time campers but Grandview Acres was our first time as "hipcampers" and it was great. The property was pretty, close to Kamloops, but far enough to be very quiet. The directions were perfect, good fast response and we had a nice conversation with Rick and Ada who were very friendly. They also graciously accommodated our request to shut off the string of solar lights along the fence where we pitched our tent so we could see stars and not have lights shining on us all night. There is a metal firepit so even though there was a burn ban other campers had a camp fire. We were visited by a young buck in the morning, on the other side of the fence. As other reviewers mentioned, having only one washroom was a slight problem. Another minor problem was the water spigot which was a little hard to turn and sprayed you if you stood in front of it. We will happily stay there again if we return to the area.

We loved tent camping on Rick's land. It was beautiful and private under the stars. We were felt safe and the bathroom and showers were only a short walk away. Rick made sure we were taken care of with ice and firewood. We would stay again.

The work and HEART that goes into running Washtock Family Campground was evident. Exceptionally fine hosts. We enjoyed our site and stay in all regard. Modern flushers and shower available but the camp’s clean and quaint pit privies and shower are a camper’s delight. The solar powered camp store was fully stocked with camp supplies, grocery, Washtock Farm meats, local produce, eggs and other locally made items. All YAYS and thanks!
