It IS rustic , and the bathroom is a little walk away, and it’s a work in progress but it’s quiet, peaceful and a horse and goats have your view. Thank you Michael

Weekend Trip to Lakewood Cabins
We have the absolute best time staying at Micheals cabin this past weekend. He is a fantastic host, very welcoming (He even came to us to show us a brand new chick he was keeping warm in his jacket!) The cabins are lovely, have everything you need for a comfortable stay in the woods. The local area is beautiful and we made some amazing steaks over the fire. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing a little affordable get away!

Weekend Trip to Lakewood Cabins
I loved my stay in Michael's Woodland Cabin. It was the perfect blend of tiny house living and camping. The outdoor bath under the stars and short hiking trail in the forest through lush ferns and moss made my stay even more special! Perfect spot to unplug completely (or even sneak in a little work while enjoying the view of the mountains and reliable internet, to boot). Add in the easy check-in/out, quick responses to questions and friendly host means I will be back!

Our stay at Woodland Cabin in Chilliwack was wonderful! The cabin was cozy, and surrounded by peaceful forest. Michael was a fantastic host — friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. We loved the quiet atmosphere and all the little touches that made it feel special. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and recharge!

We had an amazing stay at Michael’s place! The cabin and the bathroom were super clean and well maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. The whole property is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and you can really feel the care and love put into every detail. Michael was such a kind and helpful host — friendly, responsive, and always making sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night, watching the stars, and just relaxing in the quiet atmosphere. It was the perfect getaway from the city, and we’ll definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Weekend Trip to Lakewood Cabins
The perfect 1 night getaway from the city. We are right for money right now but we wanted to get out of the city and Michael made that possible with his accessible pricing.
He provided everything we needed so packing was light.
The bathtub was a wonderful addition and both of us (both 6 foot plus) could fit comfortably inside.

1 night at Lakewood Cabins
This was a pretty great little spot. The cabin is small, but it had a good setup with a hotplate, sink, fridge, & microwave. There was a big very comfortable mattress in the loft. The bathroom wasn’t too far away across the parking area and it was well maintained, with a flush toilet and a sink. Everything during my stay was very clean.
I walked down to the lake, and it was about 10 minutes on a nice trail through the woods which meets up with the main road just before the lake. Property has a horse, goats and other animals. It’s quite a nice place, the host was very friendly and I will definitely be back in the summer.

We had such a great stay in this cozy trailer! It was super clean, bright, and had everything we needed for a comfy two-night getaway. Leah and Wayne are amazing hosts — communication was super easy, and we were so grateful that Leah provided a high chair when we asked, which made things so much easier with our little one.
The cats were the sweetest and always around for unlimited pets! The mountain views were beautiful, and with the trees just starting to change colors, I bet it’ll look even more stunning in a few weeks.
The only small challenges we had were getting the water temperature just right and the bedroom skylight making the room quite bright, which made naps a bit tricky for my baby who’s used to sleeping in a darker space. I co-sleep, and the bed is fairly high, but bringing a bed rail worked perfectly.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and definitely recommend this trailer, especially for families with young kids. We’re so grateful for the experience and would love to come back!

Mixed Barrel Farm is a hidden gem. Our family of four had such a wonderful, relaxing time at Leah's farm. Leah & her family were very welcoming. Leah is a very considerate & kind host. She communicated detailed instructions & provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay. She provided farm fresh eggs & gave us grape tomatoes from her vegetable garden. We enjoyed BBQing & breakfast overlooking the mountains. It was truly a peaceful retreat, being able to unplug & recharge. Can't wait to go back. Thanks again!

Our family of four had a wonderful time at Mixed Barrel Farms. Leah and her family were perfect hosts, showing the kids around the farm to see the animals and allowing them to enjoy some fresh grapes and berries off the trees. The accommodation was cool, comfortable and clean plus had all the essentials for us to cook some great meals; the farm fresh eggs and homemade jam on arrival made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for families; relaxing, close to the river for a swim, and a quick drive into town if supplies are needed. Highlights for us were helping put the lambs to sleep, the cat companions guiding us around the farm, and BBQing while overlooking the beautiful farm. This was truly a peaceful paradise which gave us a restful retreat. We’d highly recommend the farm to young families wanting to relax and see their kids enjoy the outdoors. Thank you so much! We will be back.

Staying at Leah’s land was such a wonderful experience! She is an amazing host and shared great recommendations that my 5-year-old absolutely loved. So awesome!! Our family had the best time and the space was beyond amazing. We loved being able to visit all the animals, and everything was so welcoming and beautiful. Plus Leah and her family were all so nice and let us know about how the farm is run, all the animals, and all the things to do in the area. I already want to come back to ride the Vedder bike trail and swim in the river. This was such a gem in every way.

Lucinda was a great place for our weekend getaway! Erica thought of absolutely everything to make sure we had what we needed :) loved the cats and being woken up by the rooster too! It was very lovely to explore two new cities for us, Mission and Abbotsford, both a 20 minute ride away.

Lucinda the Bigfoot is full of charm and cozy touches! On a beautiful farm with chickens, friendly cats, and total peace. I had planned to explore Abbotsford, but honestly couldn’t bring myself to leave Lucinda.
The hosts really thought of everything. I appreciated Erica’s warm welcome and her tips on ventilation as it was a very hot day when I arrived. Loved the info inside the RV about the space and nearby places too.
BBQ’d, relaxed, played with cats, and just fully relaxed. Would 100% recommend and definitely want to come back!
