We are also right by Elk Island Park, in addition to being an important refuge for bison, elk and more than 250 bird species, it is a great place for all your hiking, picnicking, biking, canoeing and kayaking needs. When you enter Elk Island National Park you will know immediately that you have entered an oasis of calm. For years people have come to the picturesque park to escape the city life, explore the outdoors and connect with nature. Come and experience the dark sky preserve in our area that features an amazing opportunity to star gaze and to view the Northern Lights. We have 8 campsites available for tent, van, small motorhome, and small trailers. Some sites accommodate large trailers. Our group site is sites 7 and 8 please inquire if interested in this option. We offer firewood upon *availability* for sale at an additional cost of $20 per bundle of Tamarack wood. Please note that supply may be limited at times, as well as our availability, so we recommend placing your order early to ensure availability. Pets welcome on leash and owners are responsible for clean-up. This is a camper-maintained campground. Please take your trash with you at the end of your stay. Pack it in, pack it out. Inspect your campsite and rest areas for trash or spilled food. Pack out all trash, leftover food, and litter. There is a toilet available for campers to use but no other amenities. Our sites offer picnic tables and firepits. Mowed paths to walk We follow Provincial and County Fire Regulations Boreal Harvest Farms is right next door with a honeyberry U pick available during part of the year. Beautiful, serene, quiet, very well maintained. We could see every star in the sky, and it is so close to Elk Island Park, it made sightseeing easy! A lot of coyotes at night - mind your pets and bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper - that was the only sound we heard. Would highly recommend this spot.

Beautiful place, cute goats and welcoming owners. We were notified that the place was not ready for us yet, as we booked a place a bit too late. Making the host ( Rachel and her husband) worried that it will not be up to our standard. Matter of fact, it was beyond our expectations regardless. They provided us with a nice grill, water and a clean table, they even wanted to give us some fresh eggs! Hope to come visit soon again, as we were not able to thank you in person. Thank you very much!

Great Site and hosts! With only being a short drive from Edmonton, this is a hidden gem. Kara and Dan are quick to respond to inquiries and requests. The grounds are clean, well maintained, and vibrant. The water feature is aerated so the is no stagnant water smell. The wood totes are of a good size for the cost and come with some kindling. The wood was cut into good size pieces and dry! The farm fresh eggs were some of the best eggs I've had in a while with large yolks. The campsites are well spaced out with some co-located for groups. There is obvious signs of improvement and tree planting which speaks to Kara and Dan's dedication to being great hosts. I camped with a large group and a dog which needed 2 sites. Kara and Dan made great suggestions which improved our experience. I look forward to booking next season. Thank you, Kara and Dan!!!!

We were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the cabin was. Kara and Dan was also very nice in letting us setup a surprise proposal for my sister. The place was peaceful and quiet. It was a perfect place to unwind. The stars were beautiful at night. Would also mention that I was kinda hesitant on using the porta potty but to my surprise it was very clean unlike other porta potties I've seen in other camping areas. It's a great place to go to when you want to have a getaway that's not too far from the city. Would definitely come back!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! The place is amazing, quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Guillermo, their lovely dog, was a highlight of the trip. He gave us a little “tour” of the property and played happily with our dog, who was thrilled to run off-leash. Kerry is a fantastic host, always quick to answer our questions and make us feel welcome. We truly enjoyed our time here and are already planning our next visit this winter.

My partner and I absolutely loved the cabin. Beautiful details, comfortable bed, nice touches and everything you need to set up a little camp kitchen on the porch. The property is beautiful, the cabin is surrounded by trees. The little outhouse is very cute and does not smell like an outhouse because of the composting toilet. It even has a bag shower. I wish we could have stayed longer, I hope we'll be back!

This is the second time I've visited. Camped last year and stayed in the cabin this year. Absolutely love this space. Very quiet and peaceful. Spent most of our time outdoors, hoping it would rain so we could listen to it hit the metal roof, no such luck. Cabin is well stocked and the hosts are very accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Campsite 6 is a little further from the others and we could barely hear the other campers from there. Highly recommend this spot if you're not camping with a larger group! The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and the land is beautiful!

I rented The Beekeepers Inn for a weekend getaway for my wife and I and we're pleasantly surprised by the level of care that the owners put into the property along with the many amenities they also included! Our hosts were very welcoming, accommodating and quick to fix any issues that popped up. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a lofty getaway in the Beekeepers Inn! You won't regret it :)

This was our second time staying here in the cabin and it was great. We were worried about privacy with having someone booked the tenting site but we barely knew they were there. The brush really filled in compared to our stay back in May. The hosts were just as nice, friendly and responsive as our first stay. Love that our dogs get along and I didn’t have to worry about mine. She had a blast running around and playing.
