Learn more about this land: Our campsite is located along the beautiful Spillimacheen River, in Spillimacheen BC which is 20mins south of Golden BC and 30mins north of Radium Hot Springs BC. This property is very secluded and surrounded by crown land. It’s the perfect property to disconnect and reconnect, with limited cell service this allows you to turn off and just enjoy being outside in nature. Campers can choose where to park along a large cleared area. There are designated campfire locations and an outhouse. From the property, you can Kayak down the river, please Google and research before launching as there are a lot of writes ups and kayaking websites that feature the Spillimacheen River. Nature trails for hiking and walking right off the property. There is a well renowned natural rock wall for climbers 3km down the road, there are also a lot of websites that feature these rock walls. Within a half an hour drive you have two easy hikes in waterfalls (the Lower Bugaboo Falls and the Brisco Falls). Spillimacheen has a cafe and also a local market store that is full of delicious treats, beer and wine. The wetlands offer endless bird watching and beautiful mountain views. If you require firewood you must order ahead of your stay. On site purchases are not available. We deliver the bundles the day of your arrival. We had such a lovely stay! Claire was very responsive. All of the directions to manage the treehouse were clearly outlined and the treehouse looked exactly like the photos! We came during the winter time and there was an abundant amount of wood to keep the tent warm! Overall, we had a beautiful stay with everything we needed.

Absolutely phenomenal experience. Claire provided clear, thoughtful, and detailed instructions and information every step of the way, from our questions prior to booking, to the instruction booklets on site that ensured a stress free stay. The property itself was very easy to find and navigate, and the treehouse was absolutely magical. You can feel the love and care that the hosts have put into the property in every detail, and we felt as though they covered every aspect of comfort we could possibly ask for, providing plenty of wood, blankets, and simple, but much appriciated amentities. The treehouse is also within comfortable walking distance from the parking area but is still private, which allows for the most breathtaking and scerene viewing of the mountains and birds in the area. I can't say that I have ever stayed somewhere that has compared to this, and would easily choose this experience over any luxury hotel, even considering our snowy morning. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night, and would definitely recommend booking two or more nights so you can take advantage of the hiking trails and appreciate it too it's full extent!!

The campsite was everything you really need in a basecamp. We had some confusion since we accidentally took another camper's spot unknowingly. We came in after hours and the instructions said "head straight to campsite". We had been assigned a different spot -- the note was just on the front door of the main lodge. Nowhere on my instructions did it say to check with the main lodge if it was after hours. We figured it out quick enough though. And the rest of the site was nice.

Beautiful view and served as a great base camp between Yoho, Kootenay and Glacier National Parks where we spent most of our 4 days. Cold air sinks into the valley so the nights are cold but it isn’t the campsites fault, mosquitoes also were bad but that seemed to be a problem literally everywhere we went after 5. Good amenities, good price :), do recommend.

We camped in the electrical and water hook up for an trailer. It was great, It allowed us to do everything we needed since we were out most of the day hiking and needed all the amenities at night. The shower house/ bathroom was clean, warm water and had laundry if you needed. This was all included for a great price. I would 100% recommend and come back again

Beautiful campsite with excellent facilities! The location is stunning, and the washrooms are clean, modern, and very well maintained. There are plenty of services available, and the staff is incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. One small tip for future travelers: make sure to bring mosquito repellent, as they can be quite active around sunset. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place!

Really gorgeous views, nice spot. Has a wash house, bathrooms, and a good layout. The bugs (mosquitos) are super intense though especially if you’re in a wooded area. We probably got bit 70 times haha. But we’re still happy we went! First time in golden and we loved it!
