LOVED THIS! It was so private and beautiful. We had a fantastic, unplugged weekend in a gorgeous setting. At night the only sounds were the coyotes and the owls. I would totally book this spot again.

I had a great 2 nights here, it was very hot but there's a little trail down to the river where you have your own private spot! Beautiful area, quiet campsite and clean outhouse. Close to Drumheller for all the tourist attractions. Amazing sunsets at camp! We saw a deer, 2 bunnies, a squirrel and many birds. Host was very nice and hospitable. Definitely will return.

We loved our stay!!❤️
The camping place was massive and very clean, indeed many tent campers can fit or bigger trailers has tons of room.
It's included fire pit, picnic table, and deck. No water and garbage bin.
So bring your own water and please take your garbage away.
The washroom was cleanest washroom for an outhouse toilet, and we are avid campers saw many in our lives!!
Easy access to river, although the river is a bit too high to swim or access to it.
We saw chipmunk, baby rabbit, gopher, nut hatches, bats, many variety of birds!! This place is heaven for bird watchers!!!
Heard the song dogs ( coyotes and longhorn owl at night)
Highlite was watching the stars from the deck at night!
The host couple Michelle and Trace were very welcoming.
Extremly friendly and supportive!
Loved the tips where to hike and explore!! We are looking dates to visit again!!

Beautiful property! We were greeted by Tracey, who showed us to our spot and shared some great recommendations for the area. He even gave us a fossil to take home for our son, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
The property itself is quiet and relaxing—the perfect place for a peaceful getaway. Be sure to check out the nearby Orkney Viewpoint; it’s stunning!

Michelle and Trace's river side camp is nothing short of spectacular. Spacious, private, and comfortable with incredible views. Our hosts were very welcoming and shared great information about the area. Would love to stay again next time we're in Drumheller! Take the free Bleriot Ferry and drive along the other side of the river on your way out.

Bonnie and Michael are such an amazing host! They are very accommodating and patient with us. We really enjoyed our stay in their property. It’s very peaceful and we felt very safe at night. They are nice enough to let us feed the emus in the morning. Highly recommend this place and please do respect the place and host when you came visit so we don’t lose a gem like this.

Great campsite in a peaceful area, less than a ten minutes drive from drumheller. The hosts are really sweet and showed us their birds (ostrich and emus). The surroundings are beautiful and you also have horses as neighbours.

We really enjoyed the lovely private space for our tent at this hipcamp.The platform was really a bonus as well. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. They graciously cleared the pathway to the river so we could access it. We did not enter the river as the heavy rains made it quite muddy when we were there. The outhouse was very clean. We really love listening to and enjoying beautiful song birds living in the area as well. Please note that this hipcamp has no access to potable/drinking water and the nearby recreation camp ground water pump was either dried up or turned off...anyways no water so bring your own. Also bring mosquito repellent as they can be a bit of a nuisance. Thank you hosts for providing us with a quiet and peaceful space.
