Voted #1 tent site in Canada for HipCamp 2021!! Come camp on a 40 acre parcel backing onto crown land mountains and wake up in front of 10 acres of vineyard and a view of Okanagan Lake! Outhouse on property and it is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise he thinks he has the run of the place! Site 1 is better suited for tents or small camper vans. Site 2 can accommodate travel trailers fairly easily. Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high risk fire zone) and firewood available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know!

We had a great stay at Back Forty Vineyards over the Easter weekend. Missing the beautiful property and warm weather already!
We stayed at site 1 for 3 nights. We had a view of vineyards and Okanagan lake, was absolutely gorgeous. The site was also quiet and it was perfect spot for privacy. The host was nice and helpful. We hope to come back and stay here again in the future!!
Gorgeous spot with orchard views. Spring is not the most flattering time to visit the Okanagan (so much mud!), so I can only imagine how lovely this would be with trees in full leaf. Fire pits, water accessible at the house and a sweetly ramshackle pit toilet. Only two sites so excellent for privacy.
Change of pace
We enjoyed our stay here in early September. There were two drive through campsites (I would call one upper and one lower). Highlights are definitely the ability to walk the vineyard and the friendly dog.
Simple and straight forward outhouse. Opening in the wall for circulation and it really works well...oddly enough.
As this is a working farm, there are materials on the ground so it's a shoes and slippers on kinda place (barefoot not recommended).
I would stay here again.
Nice winter retreat!
Really enjoyed the area. The vineyard dog Bernie was adorable and my 2 little kids were enamoured with him! The view is very nice (we stayed in winter) and the host Daryn was very responsive and gracious.
We had a lovely stay at Back Forty Vineyards, it is such a peaceful and quiet vineyard to camp in, with some great views!
Daryn and his family are kind and helpful and provided us with some firewood and recommendations for hikes in the area. Bernie the dog stopped by for a couple of visits too. Such a sweetie!
The outhouse was also really great. I've been in a fair few outhouses, and this one ranks among the best.
